The Last Chance's

First part

Delta's seen that guy a lot lately. Either when he opens his bedroom window, or when watering plants, also when throwing garbage bags in landfills. Even where he worked.

"Green bean filling bread 5 packs." Said the man ordering bread and giving the money a fitting. That's normal stuff. But somehow it got weird because the order was always just right when Delta finished baking the bread and putting it in the cupboard to sell at work every hour.

There was a sense of wanting to ask, but since his case with the man was bad, Delta just kept quiet and did his job. He never forgot who the super cold and ketus man in front of him.

Alfa Alfandi, she's known the man since kindergarten. They were always in the same class even up to High School. Fortunately once in college, Delta majored in health and the man went to college abroad. It's been 11 years since they didn't meet. Delta wanted to say hello kindly. But remembering the man's words. 'Okay thanks!!. We are nothing more than acquaintances.'

"Why not buy healthy food??, you health school right!. Don't know that eating noodles is not good for the body."

Okay, if this part of Delta's supposed to never get used to it. Why the once super cold and quiet man, now so much talk. And why did they have to meet at the mini market this morning and then hear the morning lecture from the man?.

"What eat me!!." The answer was relaxed and wanted to get out of there immediately. Even the Dafa he was in his arms attached his embrace to Delta. He was afraid of the man in front of him.

The man stared at Dafa for a long time before putting a packet of broccoli into his shopping cart.

"Kayak a goat!!." Delta couldn't hold his mouth from interrupting the contents of the Alpha basket. All kinds of green vegetables were in that basket.

The one being teased can only be silent.

"Jellyl.jelly..." Dafa suddenly spoke up and pointed towards the perpen jelly. And of course Delta immediately moved away from that place. Buy the jelly tomorrow!. Dafa promised my mom."

"Curtain!!. Same kid himself stingy. That candy is not expensive." Alfa smiled cynically while carrying a few bags of jelly candy and stuffing them in her basket. The insinuated simply shook their head and sighed deeply, immediately moving away from Alfa.

"Today I ate ice cream. Dafa wants ice cream to taste what??, but only 1 yes!." Delta opened the fridge and told her son to pick out ice cream. And again, suddenly Alfa appeared and again satirized him.

"Basic don't love kids!!."

What do you want, man ???. Delta shook his head trying patiently.

Indeed, the distance of her house from the mini market is only 5 minutes, but why the sunny morning was suddenly raining heavily and made the woman was forced to wait in the mini market with a feeling of arrogance. Not about the rain but about this man standing next to her.

"I brought a car.....

Alfa who had intended to offer a ride, immediately fell silent to Delta's insinuation. But he already had good intentions. You stupid woman!!.

Alfa re-enters the mini market. Although he was upset with Delta, he still intended to go home with the woman, their house was next door. Alfa should also at least begin to approach Dafa who seems to be afraid of her.

The man bought a supply of jelly in the mini market. He also bought a variety of chocolates and specifically called his personal assistant to buy an ice cream refrigerator and its contents and send it home.

What else do kids like??. The man kept thinking while staring at Delta who was back in the mini market.

"If you are given milk like this, do not take pictures, right??." The rain had not subsided, and Dafa had not yet drunk milk. He stopped in front of the refrigerator which contained a small box of instant milk.The woman was hesitant because Dafa had never drank instant milk.

Delta opened the other refrigerator that contained fruit juice. He used to buy Dafa guava-flavored fruit juice because Dafa liked it. So after taking 3 small bottles of fruit juice, he decided to pay to the cashier.

But not far away.a annoying man back to lecture him and this time about milk.

"It's hard to buy a new bottle of milk, and buy a milk powder box. There is also hot water here. Do not just want to lose money. The health of the child is much more important. Milk can help bone growth. What fruit juice can??."

Delta glanced in surprise at the contents of Alfa's full shopping cart. The man even bought a diaper that was the same size as the diaper in Dafa.

"What did you buy diapers for??." Delta subconsciously asked. Alfa is not married.

The man just answered him indifferently. "It's none of your business!."

"Where to go!!, the toddler's milk is in the right corner, the milk bottle is in front of him and....

"Milk bottles must be sterilized before they are worn." Delta cuts off Alfa speech.

The man fell silent again but continued to stare at Dafa whose mouth was covered in chocolate ice cream.

Delta hurriedly cleaned Dafa's mouth when Alfa's hand almost grabbed him.

The man who was about to clean Dafa's mouth with his handkerchief just stared awkwardly at Delta. Looks like the woman doesn't like other people touching her son.

Delta breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Alfa finally going towards the cashier. He initially thought that the man had given up on bothering him. Unfortunately, Delta's guess was wrong.

Alfa again approached Delta and handed half of her groceries to the woman. "This is all for Dafa. Because you're too stingy in buying something for her and I know you don't have enough money either, so take this and say thank you."

Delta finally breathed a sigh of annoyance. He could not stand the behavior of Alpha. "Loe wants what the hell??. It's up to me, if I want to buy anything, my money is enough or not, and how do I take care of my child. This is my life and this is my son. We don't even have a relationship. So thank you for your attention, but please don't ever do it again. Really sucks!!."

The store owner and some visitors stared at the Delta. At first they thought that Alfa and Dafa were married couples because they always walked in tandem. But after hearing Delta's words quite loudly, they turned towards Alfa looking at him suspiciously.

"If you can't take care of your child properly, love your child to me. I guarantee he will grow up healthy!!." Alfa did not care at all about the gazes around her.

"Emang elo who???."

Alfa looked at Delta sharply before saying in a cold tone. "I am the father of this child!."

"Are you crazy??."
