Episode 71

"Mr Zahid will be going abroad for a few days" said Mr Boni, who came to Layla's room that morning. He was eager to cheer because he heard the happy news. But Layla held him back. He had to hold back because there was Leonard accompanying him since leaving the house earlier.

"Oh, yes"

"Master can't come home tonight because he has to leave this afternoon. Do you have a message I have to convey to you?"

The message? Why does he have a message for Zahid sir who continues to torment him every night?

"No. There's nothing"

"Say Sir. You must make a report about all the cooperation that the company has done so far. And when he gets home, you have to hand him over"

"All right"

Mr. Boni walked out of the room and a smile immediately rose on Layla's face.

"It's easy to guess" Leonard said, interrupting his fun.

"What?"

"You're very predictable Miss"

"What do you mean?"

Layla sat back down and checked all the reports in front of her with a feeling of relief.

"You're so happy to be home alone the next few days?"

"What do you mean?"

Of course Layla is happy. He will be free of the man for at least the next few days. It was a great gift for him.

"Is this because of this morning's news?"

Layla raised her head and looked towards Leonard.

"News?"

"Yes. About Mr. Zahid's love triangle and his two mistresses"

That news. It was enough to make Layla feel astonished, but she did not want to be bothered with such things. The more often Mr. Zahid spends time with his two stash, the more free he is at home.

"I don't think about it too much"

"Is it because you believe in the love of Mr. Zahid?"

Layla stops her work and looks up at her childhood friend and bodyguard.

"Did you not have another job?"

"You kicked me out Miss? It's so cruel"

"Go report to Frank or whatever!"

"ouch's. It hurts my heart. I'm here to accompany you"

Day after day without Mr. Zahid passed and Layla felt alive again as her old self. Get enough sleep, eat enough, work hard at compiling reports, buy something by the roadside and more importantly not attend any official events. Then came a man who broke his comfort on the fifth morning without Zahid.

"What are you doing here?" layla asked her husband's number one mistress.

"Where is Zahid's brother?"

"Nothing"

"Is it true he took the artist out of the country? Why?"

Layla wondered why Sarah was now screaming and crying in front of her, complaining about her second husband's affair.

Layla had to serve tea to the woman who finished crying.

"I'll work. You better go too"

"Are you going to keep going like this?"

Although Sarah was a few years older than Layla, she seemed to be disrespectful.

"What do you mean?"

"Your husband went out of the country with another woman. Your husband controls your company!! Don't you ever think about getting angry??"

She mad? Why would he want to do something so ridiculous? After all, Zahid married her only to replace her father. And later Layla will soon occupy the position of President after it is felt capable by the man.

"No, and you better go"

"I thought you loved her"

Layla stood up and looked at the woman she had seen while still working as Zahid's maid. Layla thought Sarah was a tough woman, but now, she's changing her outlook. Sarah is just a spoiled woman who is lulled by the affection and attention of Mr. Zahid.

"You should go now. I'm going to work"

"Don't you want to know what they're doing abroad? Don't you want to know if they kissed, stayed one room or even did that how many times? Aren't you tormented with questions like that in your heart?"

Layla's speechless. Jealousy, tormented, upset and angry. He felt all that for one year since marrying Zahid sir. Her husband never touched, asked her for news, contacted her or anything against her.Even when she was in self-imposed exile, Zahid did not look for her at all. Layla cried when she saw the news of her husband appearing at the party with Sarah. Even the unproven news of Mr. Zahid spending the night and the holidays with Sarah's family, left her tormented. What could he do then? just crying and holding back.

Because Layla knows she won't get anything despite being angry at her husband. He realized that the man married her not out of love, but simply because of a return that actually tortured both of them. Neither Zahid nor Layla. So ... no. Rather than feeling jealous or angry, he now only wanted calmness. Although Mr. Zahid shows strange behavior by touching it every day, but layla does not want to dream and hope anymore. He's tired already. He better use all his energy and feelings for the company.

"You really need to go now! I don't want to have to call the bodyguards to kick you out of this house" she said, standing up and wanting to go upstairs to a standstill because of Sarah's words that surprised her.

"Originally you know. All this time even though I was pressing her. Brother Zahid never touched me. It was because he respected me as the woman and sister of his friend. I don't know what he did by marrying you, but if I could. Give him back as he used to. Return Zahid's brother who is only mine"

Whahuh? Never touched Sarah? Layla longed to ask the truth, but the woman was left because of Leonard's arrival.

"Is there a problem, Miss?"

"No. There aren't. Is Sarah gone?"

"Yes. There's Zahid's men guarding him"

Mr Zahid's man? Guarding Sarah? Wh-wh-what for?

Layla could not concentrate on her work and continued to think about Sarah's words. Why didn't Zahid touch Sarah? All this time? Doesn't that man love Sarah? And again, there was something stuck in his heart. Indeed, Mr. Zahid led the company because of a return of gratitude, but why should he survive a marriage that he did not like? Mr. Zahid had a lot of money even before leading the company. The man could pay his father and give up all responsibility of return. Then, why would Zahid prefer to marry him and lead the company? Layla was still in her daydream when Leonard suddenly stood up and began to contact the other bodyguards to docked.
