PEACE WITH HEART II

Laura's not budging. Only his breath was heard. Austin clasped his wife's hand. For Austin the matter of Qiana was 100% his wife's right to decide. Austin won't interfere, because Laura knows more about Qiana.

Connors was holding his stomach. The man seemed to be withstanding the pain of the gunshot scar. Actually Connors has not been allowed to sit too long, he still has a lot of lying down.

Laura remembered her sister Brenda's words so that Qiana would never be with Connors. Brenda's words just before closing her eyes for all eternity were ringing in Laura's head at this moment.

"I have to talk to Qiana slowly, Connors. For me personally, it doesn't matter if you tell me the truth, because Qiana also has the right to know who her father is. But, you better let me tell Qiana who you really are" said Laura sage.

Connors breathed his breath in relief. A smile adorned his face. The man rubbed his face. It clearly looks like happiness.

"Thank you Laura. For me, this answer is what I expected. The problem of my daughter accepting or not myself later with airy chest I appreciate. Since it won't change my feelings for Qiana, I will still consider her my first child that I will always love. Once again sorry for my mistakes during this Laura" said Connors sincerely.

Stephanie faithfully gives support to Connors, she unceasingly rubs her husband's back gently.

Laura smiled at Connors. "Forget it, I forgive you. Hating will not change things. My sister will never come back" Laura said sincerely.

Connors smiled at him. "Well then, Stephanie and I should go home first. My wound is not dry yet, it still hurts. After the hospital we came straight here. I was gonna ask Austin for his opinion, but it's lucky you're here. Sorry for interrupting your time together" Connors said standing by his wife's help.

"It's okay Connors, you're welcome anytime in my room. You are my representative here too", Austin replied, hugging Connors warmly.

"Thank you Austin" Connors replied.

So did Stephanie, hugging Laura's body.

"Thank you Laura for forgiving my husband in the past. May Brenda be quiet there. At first I was shocked to hear Connors' confession about Qiana. Believe me I really like and love Qiana. While in the hospital he often accompanied Harry and Ed, they were very familiar. Who would have thought there was indeed a blood bond between them" said Stephanie.

"Yes. Quite frankly, Qia deserves to know who her real father is. To this day the boy knew I was the woman who gave birth to him. I haven't even told her about Brenda. He thought his father was in heaven. Hopefully after knowing the truth Qiana will be happy to accept Connors as her father".

Dominic leaned his back while stretching out both hands. While the two neutrals stared out of the workspace with glass walls

Some of his employees have gone home. Some still finish their work.

Dominic usually works late into the night with his assistant Roland in his room.

"I brought you coffee" Roland said, holding two dark brown cups in his hand.

"Hem. Are all the interns home?"

Dominic smiled meaningfully hearing his lover was still there. "I'm out for a while you finish the report", Dominic's orders move from his seat while taking the coffee out of his room.

"Let's just a little bit more Kelly, you can do it.."

Kelly seemed frustrated by the reports he was working on. Repeatedly the girl saw her watch had already touched the number ten the night.

"Do you need help, hem?"

Kelly widened her eyes staring around in case another employee saw Dominic in the intern's room.

"Dominic, what are you doing here, what if anyone's watching" Kelly said half in a whisper.

"Why are you whispering like that. Of course I want to see what else you are" Dominic replied casually sitting next to Kelly and gently dipping her face

Kelly rolled her eyes. "Domi. stop us being in the office. What if someone sees", protest the girl.

"Leave it. Somehow until when are you going to cover up our relationship. I'm single, you're single, there's nothing wrong with our relationship, Kelly. You're a strange girl" Dominic said pinching Kelly's nose.

"Yes, there is nothing wrong. But I don't feel comfortable being my boss's girlfriend, Domi. I don't want anyone to gossip about me at work".

"Hey who would dare to talk about you. Tomorrow I will announce our three-month relationship to everyone here. You also start moving into my room tomorrow period. There is no rebuttal, no deadly seduction you used to do" Dominic stood up and kissed Kelly's head startled at Dominic's orders.

Dominic didn't comment on Kelly's complaint.

"Thirty minutes to go home. You came home with me, because it was night. I'm not going to let my future wife go home on public transport" Dominic whispered in Kelly's ear.

Dominic turned his body back into his room. While Kelly did not flinch with a shocked face and open mouth. Just heard Dominic's words. "My wife-to-be?"

"What does Dominic mean to say. My college isn't over yet, why is she suddenly talking about marriage? Huh..."
