"Come to take immediate action now. Do your best for the patient. It's a matter of cost that I'll pay for..!"

The baritone's voice shocked Renata. Instantly the girl raised her head to stare at the male figure standing on the doorstep away from where Renata was crouching in the corner of the room.

"T-Mr Matteo...?"

The girl's condition looks very sad, with a crouching position hugging her knees sobbing with her body shaking in the corner of the room.

The nurse helped him to stand up. Renata could not speak anymore, only a small sobbing sounded while her fingers wiped her tears.

"Sir, all the administration is done, the patient can enter the operating room" Evans said.

While Renata saw the officers preparing to bring his mother to the operating room.

Four nurses pushed the bed out of the room. Renata asked for a moment before her mother entered the operating room. The girl clasped Sophia's fingers tightly and gently kissed the woman's much-loved forehead. "Mama, please hold on. During mama's surgery Rena will be near mama" said Renata slowly. While Sophia returned the hand of her beloved daughter while opening her eyes to calm her daughter.

The next second the nurses immediately pushed the bed towards the operating room.

"Rena, you need to be strong. Continue to pray for the safety and smooth operation of your mother" said doctor Ana strengthen Renata who is already very familiar.

Renata nodded his head with certainty.

The actions of the people in the room did not go unnoticed by Matteo. The man was still standing in his original place while putting his hand in his pants pocket staring at Renata who looked shocked. Even the girl had not said a word to him.

Flashback Matteo and Angelica

"Darling, what should we do now? What if he doesn't accept your offer? It fits the criteria I want".

"Calm down, Lica, she'll be back" Matteo said. He pointed to Renata's brown map, which was still on the sofa table in Matteo's study.

Angelica smiled looking at the map and turned to her husband. "Sweetie I have an idea, this is our chance. You give the map back to the owner and see what happens to him".

"What the fuck are you, of course I won't catch up with that girl. You did it", ketus Matteo stood up and poured the wine, gulped it down to the toilet.

Angelica smiled at her husband, Angelica wrapped her hands around Matteo's waist.

"In two hours I have a photo shoot, baby. I'm flying to Montreal".

"Huhh, just cancel. You're too busy with your job, Lica. Even you leave your husband alone too often" Matteo said, brushing his wife's blond hair and gently tucking her neck.

"How long have you been in Montreal, haem?"

"Four days. There are three shooting sessions that I have to go through", Angelica answered, tilting her head as Matteo's kiss turned into a demand. While his fingers open one by one tight shirt buttons that wrap the sexy body of Angelica.

"There's still time, I want you" whispered Matteo.

"I'll give you what you want baby, but you have to promise to see Renata. I'm sure the girl must have gone to the hospital. Make sure the girl accepts our offer dear. I don't want you to lose your father's legacy" whispered Angelica replying to Matteo's touch.

Renata looks very agitated waiting in the waiting room. The doctor said the operation took about six hours. Renata looked at the circular watch in his hand. "There are still thirty minutes left of the time forecast that the doctor said", Renata said as he leaned his back against the chair.

Renata endlessly prays for Sophia's safety. He was alone in the waiting room, while Matteo and the men he was with were nowhere to be seen.

"What should I do after this. Is mister Matteo going to sue me to do his wish. Never mind, I should think about that later. The most important thing now is to have a healthy mama again" said Renata

Renata turned his head on the operating room door. Looks doctor Ana out with her tired face.

Renata stood with a look of dismay. The girl braced herself to accept whatever outcome the doctor would tell her.

"W-what about mom, doc?"

The doctor seemed to be breathing out. And there was a smile on his face.

"Madam Sophia has gone through the difficult times of Renata. Your mother is strong, she is very excited for her recovery. Lady Sophia survived and her operation went well. Now he is unconscious and will still be in the observation room post-surgery. You should keep praying".

Renata breathed out. Spontaneously hugged the doctor tightly.

"Thank God. Thank you doctor", said Renata smiling happily. He was unceasingly grateful.

An administrative officer approaches Renata and Ana's doctor.

"Miss Renata, after Sophia has passed the observation period she will be brought in VVIP hospitalization. Now the lady can rest there".

"Huh? I didn't order that room. Where do I get the money to pay for such an expensive room. I will take third grade only", Renata replied.

"Everything has been paid by Mr. Matteo Thomas, miss. In fact he will bear all the expenses until Lady Sophia recovers in this hospital".

"Well?!"

Of course the administration officer's words made Renata shocked. "How do I pay everything to Mr. Matteo, while I have not decided to accept their offer" said Renata.
