The next day...

Morning sunlight breaks through the curtain gap of the hospital's inpatient VVIP room located in the suburbs of Toronto.

A luxurious room that Renata would not be able to afford. Because the cost of one night in that room could drain Renata's savings. This was Sophia's first time in such a room, alone and very comfortable.

Renata looked at Sophia's face. The girl looked happier this morning. My mom's face looks fresher.

Renata gently kissed the woman who was very dear to him. Feeling someone touch her slowly Sophia's eyelids opened.

The face that was still visible remains of her beauty was smilingly staring at her daughter.

"How does my beloved woman feel" Renata said, putting her face on Sophia's face.

"Honey, mama's fine", Sophia answered to calm her daughter down.

"This morning Rena was very happy, waking up feeling peaceful. Not like yesterday, 'cause Mama's been in surgery. May my mother always be healthy. Rena loves mom" said Renata sumringah with a radiant face.

Sophia smiled hearing that.

"Rena, why can you be in this room, son. How we pay for it must be very expensive" Sophia said in a soft voice.

Renata fell silent. Honestly, he didn't know what to answer. Renata was completely unthinkable to this question. It is also impossible that he told the truth about the offer of his boss who will rent his womb. Mama could be in shock again.

"Mama is in place in this room because Rena gets facilities from the office ma. Mama see the man who became our helper yesterday, he is the owner of the cafe where Rena works. Earlier Rena met his wife and Mr. Matteo Thomas to borrow money with our home certificate guarantee. Who would have thought they were so good, willing to lend money for mama's operation. Mama saw for herself that Mr. Matteo came directly to the hospital", said Renata gave the answer immediately but quite convincing.

"Rena, you must meet Mr. Matteo and his wife immediately to thank them for their help. Without them mom wouldn't heal Rena. We owe your boss a debt of gratitude" Sophia said slowly.

Renata nodded his head. "yes ma. Later Rena will meet Miss Angelica and Mr. Matteo in her office", Renata replied while bowing her head. He felt guilty for not being able to tell Sophia the truth.

But her mother's words have a point too. In any case his mama can survive thanks to Mr. Matteo who came on time. So the doctor immediately operated on Sophia after all costs were handled by Matteo.

Renata stepped foot after getting off the taxi that delivered him to Matteo's company. The company stands tall in downtown Toronto.

It's three in the afternoon. Actually Renata wanted to meet Angelica and Matteo this morning but he did not have the heart to leave his mother alone. Until this afternoon her best friend Kelly came to visit Sophia. And Renata told me everything, about Matteo's help. Of course Renata did not tell anyone about Matteo and Angelica's offer. Including to Kelly. Kelly offers herself to look after Sophia as long as Renata goes to see their boss.

Renata stopped his footsteps right in front of the skyscraper where Matteo's office was located. What he heard was Angelica had an office in the building as well.

"Ah shitt why is it so broken like this..."

Renata smiled and approached the man. "Uncle why, is there anything I can help you with?", asked Renata politely in a soft voice.

"Haha can you what a young girl?", replied the man half-mocking Renata.

"Huhh...paman doubted my ability? I can do anything", Renata replied as she poked her lips.

"Show me now, you fix that tap why the water's not coming out!", the man said again, giving Renata equipment.

Renata checked the water tap that the man in front of him meant, the girl took out a small wire from the tool that was given to her then connected it into a knot and strengthened it with a bolt that had been released by the man.

"Done. Let's prove now the results" said Renata confidently and spread both hands.

"Buffed girl! we prove it", said the man half-challenged while turning the tap that has been connected with a hose. Instantly the water spouted out with its swiftness.

The middle-aged man laughed at the results. "Not bad, your work is good as well as young girls" he said, nodding his head. "My flowers look fresh again".

Renata smiled hearing that. "Now uncle acknowledges my work, right?"

"Thomas. Call my name Thomas" said the man without looking at Renata, he was busy spraying water using a hose to the beautiful flowers in the tiny garden.

Renata realized he saw the clock in his hand already showed at half-four. "OMG, I have to see Miss Angelica and Mr. Matteo" Renata murmured.

"Uncle Thomas I have to go now, I have to meet someone" Renata said turning her back.

"Hey, what's your name young girl? Who do you want to meet in this building?", replied Thomas.

Renata stopped her footsteps and turned her body again to face Thomas. "I'm Renata. I want to see the owner of this company, Mr. Matteo. Bye uncle Thomas", said Renata half-running leaving Thomas staring at his back.

"the diamonds? Want to meet Matteo? What does this have to do with Matteo?", murmured Thomas.

"Good afternoon Mr. Thomas. I brought you the flower seeds you've wanted all along".

"Edward, have you ever heard of Renata in this company?"
