THE FORGOTTEN MOTHER'S

EIGHT WEEKS

Toronto, a few days later..

Austin took a look in front of the mirror on the walk in closet. Then he took a branded watch and put it on his wrist.

Austin smiled as he watched his wife sleep. Laura usually wakes up first, but this morning she looks very tired.

Austin lowered his face, gently peeping Laura's forehead. He had to leave early in the morning because he was going to the factory, with his assistant. Austin had to clear up work at the company after a few days out of town with his friends. While next week he should be in Manhattan, looking at his own company. The plan is to bring Laura there, because since marriage Laura has never been invited to Austin see Austin's life in the city he lived in before finally returning to Toronto.

"Honey..are you ready?", said Laura opened her eyes when she felt someone touch her face.

"Are you so tired, hem?"

Laura rubbed her forehead. "Yes Austin. Lately my body is very easy to feel tired".

Austin smiled as he sat on the edge of the bed, rubbing his wife's face. "Sleep again. I also have to go early in the morning because I'm going to visit the factory with my assistant".

Laura rubbed her husband's thighs. "Yes darling".

"Next week we're going to Manhattan. I'll take you for a walk there".

"Yes" answered Laura looking very lethargic and uninspired. Her hand was still on her husband's thigh.

Seconds next..

"Honey, my head is so dizzy" Laura said in a soft voice.

"Are you sick, Laura?", asked Austin, touching his wife's forehead.

"I don't know, but my head feels like it's going around in circles" Laura replied, closing her eyes. "Maybe I'm tired. It's okay, you just go to work".

Austin was seen contacting someone through his cell phone. "Ryan. Today I don't work my wife's sick".

Laura is sitting down. But his head felt heavier. "Geez.."

Laura pressed her head with both hands.

"Lau..why? You're really sick, baby. I'll call the family doctor now". Austin helped his wife back down. While he contacted the doctor while staring fixed his wife who was seen massaging his forehead.

After Austin finished calling the doctor, he sat back on the edge of the bed. Before long, the waiter brought warm tea and breakfast to Laura who was asked for Austin a moment ago.

"Now eat first. While waiting for the doctor to come" said Austin to help Laura sit down. Laura refused it.

"alright. But after the doctor checks on you you have to eat".

"Yes", Laura replied briefly.

Thirty minutes passed, the new family doctor came and immediately checked on Laura who was in bed.

The male doctor, seen repeatedly examining Laura to ensure the state of the patient.

"When was the last time you had your period?", the doctor asked to check your blood pressure using a digital device.

Laura seemed to think for a moment, remembering and calculating the date of the last menstruation and the date of today. "Oh my God.Why can I forget. Last month I didn't get my period" Laura replied. "I should go to the doctor for control because my menstrual cycle is indeed irregular" he replied again.

"Miss Laura is pregnant. I estimate the age of the womb has entered eight weeks" said the doctor.

Laura and Austin were shocked to hear the doctor's words. Even Laura was speechless. Both hands covered his mouth. And Austin rubbed his face as if he could not believe what he had just heard.

"Miss Laura must be checked by a gynecologist to confirm her pregnancy" said Austin family doctor while giving vitamins to Laura before leaving home.

The news of Laura's pregnancy made Austin feel very happy. He was so happy that he accompanied his wife all day in bed. To the bathroom only the man lifted his wife's body.

"Darling.you're overreacting. I'm pregnant not sick" Laura protested when Austin wanted to feed her mouth food. "I can eat Austin myself" said Laura, widening her eyes at her husband.

"I'll take care of you anyway. I don't want you and my son to do anything. Remember what the doctor said, you must carefully guard your womb early in your pregnancy" Austin replied firmly.

Huhc ..

Laura breathed out violently. "You even forgot your job. I'm fine baby, the doctor has given me medicine. My body is fine".

"You don't argue with me. For a month I will work from home. I will take care of you and our son", Austin said, gently rubbing his wife's stomach.

Huhhh ..

Laura chose to be quiet. Answering anything is no use anymore, who is arguing with her husband will make his head dizzy.
