Chapter 48: Should I Trust Again?

"Dad ... Mother ... Where are you going?"

A pair of couples holding hands walked towards the halo in traditional gold attire, turning their heads together to the source of a woman's shrill voice heard behind them.

The woman who had just called out earlier looked down at her appearance again wearing army-patterned pants, that woman was Yiu in her original form from the future.

Yiu looked up lethargicly and slowly approached the two couples then made a stammering sound with cold sweat pouring down his back. He asked, "Y-yeah! B-but can I-I call you father and mother?"

The couple smiled and greeted Yiu with a gentle helping hand. "of course! You saved our son's name .. So you're also our son."
