Feeling like something shook Yiu's body quickly, Yiu finally regained his lost consciousness.
"God ... You apparently Prince Wu Xiao forgive me who thought you were a thief earlier hihi" Yiu chuckled softly at the face of Prince Wu Xiao who was definitely reddish even though the light around him was very dim.
"Basic ... K ..." Prince Wu Xiao shouted and was about to scold Yiu but had to be blocked due to Yiu's hands spontaneously silencing his mouth and putting his index finger in his lips.
"Sttc ... You fools want to make Prince Xiao Ce and Prince Huang wake up and we get caught what?" yiu said firmly but softly for fear of being caught by his two brothers who might also disturb their sleep in the morning blind.
"Your own fault because of you my precious head is so dizzy" said Prince Wu Xiao grumbling but slightly slowing down his voice made Yiu turn the eyeballs carelessly.
"Whatever. Why would you come here so early in the morning like this?" said Yiu staring at Prince Wu Xiao sharply.
"Didn't I tell you yesterday? Are you pretending to forget or are you forgetful?" Prince Wu Xiao looked a little annoyed.
Yiu chuckled softly at the look on Prince Wu Xiao's face that was bent sour.
"I'm just kidding, then what do you want to give me as a gift?" yiu said lazily and propped his head up with one arm.
"Wear this fast!" prince Wu Xiao said as he threw the cloth-wrapped clothes at Yiu.
"What's this?" yiu asked after catching the cloth package.
"Shirt disguise so no one suspects us, wear it quickly and I'll wait here"
"Can't I wash my body with water first?"
"No need for your body to have smelled so long ago that even if you take a shower it will be useless" Prince Wu Xiao seemed to casually respond to Yiu's remark which was rewarded with a sharp shot from Yiu.
"Repick change your clothes! Do I need to put your clothes on?" said Prince Wu Xiao who already wanted to jump into Yiu's room.
"Let's die, huh! Don't try to get in!" soon Yiu shut the window of her room and changed her clothes as quickly as possible out of fear that Prince Wu Xiao would forcefully open the window while she was changing.
It didn't take long for Yiu to finally open his window and jump out, wearing a simple female hanfu like a commoner.
Yiu and Prince Wu Xiao walked as slowly as possible so as not to be caught and climbed the high walls of the royal barrier that had been installed by a rope to climb previously by Prince Wu Xiao.
After they climbed up the royal wall, they immediately headed towards a brown unraveling horse belonging to Prince Wu Xiao who was already waiting for them near the royal wall.
Yiu glared sharply at Prince Wu Xiao for providing only one horse for the two of them.
"It is too risky to be caught if I take 2 horses away in my horse cage" Prince Wu Xiao said as he glanced at Yiu.
Not wanting to quarrel with Prince Wu Xiao finally he just gave a lazy snort riding a horse with Prince Wu Xiao.
Yiu was in front of Prince Wu Xiao who was in charge of controlling his horse, Prince Wu Xiao spurred his horse very quickly split the dense forest that was quite dark due to the new sun that would bring out its rays on the east side.
Even so Prince Wu Xiao could still see the surroundings and continued to spur his horse.
Cold air from the morning dew and their journey felt began to penetrate into Yiu's bones, his body began to shiver with cold but Yiu tried to fight the cold as much as possible.
"Wear my robe to cover your body lest you freeze to death and trouble me"
Prince Wu Xiao used one hand he did not use to hold the steering rope, tried to remove the robe he was wearing and immediately gave it to Yiu.
"Thank you" this time Yiu did not reject or refute Prince Wu Xiao's words in the least.
After a journey that divided the dense forest and climbed the steep terrain finally arrived at a place that Yiu said was very beautiful.
They stop at a steep cliff and underneath there is a dense forest that extends as far as the eye can see very suitable for viewing sunrise.
Yiu was immediately stunned by the natural beauty he saw now, very rarely he could go see the natural scenery that was still very beautiful in his world first, he said, there is only a stretch of skyscrapers with air pollution everywhere and if he sees green scenery was certainly only wilderness and grasslands filled with blood on the ground due to the war that occurred there.
"I'm always here when I want to be alone because here I can enjoy the sunrise and sunset while enjoying the beautiful green forest" said Prince Wu Xiao with a straight look at the sun that was about to rise in a moment and turned to look at Yiu.
Prince Wu Xiao stared at Yiu who was smiling as he closed his eyes and inhaled deeply in the cool air in the morning.
'Even though she hasn't had a bath but she still looks beautiful' maybe that's what Prince Wu Xiao has in mind.
And this was the first time that Yiu could see such a beautiful scene in his life now after almost weeks of just languishing in the palace whether it was in Qiu Wang palace or Zhang palace if he went out just to go to the market.
They were silent for a moment when they looked at the sun which was soon showing all its rays.
"Have you been satisfied to enjoy? If it had been let's go to the market I was very hungry now" Prince Wu Xiao pulled Yiu's hand which was still washed away with his mind towards their horse.
Yiu who was surprised his hand was suddenly pulled can only resigned after all he is also hungry now considering since yesterday's incident he has not eaten or drank anything.
Prince Wu Xiao was already very hungry now, he immediately raised Yiu on horseback and he then spurred his horse quickly down the hill towards the market near the palace.
When they arrived at the market, Wu Xiao left his horse at the entrance of the market without bothering to dig his horse so as not to run away, he knew the horse would be faithful to wait for its owner to return.
Prince Wu Xiao and Yiu entered the market area, Prince Wu Xiao was now wearing a bamboo hat to hide his true face and identity, the hat he got in a stall that looked lonely and there lay a hat without knowing who the owner.
And for Yiu he didn't bother to hide his face, either, why did he hide his face if when he disguised himself as a servant around his kingdom alone no one knows Yiu let alone here.
They walked in tandem through the crowd of people who were in a market that was not too crowded.
"What do you want to eat?" Prince Wu Xiao broke the silence between the two even though the market was crowded enough by merchants and buyers.
"As far as you go" Yiu said as he chuckled, I don't know what he was looking for.
Prince Wu Xiao clasped Yiu's hand and led him into a fairly large tavern with interiors and beautiful carvings adorning the tavern.
After choosing a seat, a shopkeeper approached them to ask for an order.
"What do you and your lady want to order?"
"I want green tea, *Jiaozi, and "baozi, if you're Ying?"
"Just like you."
*Jiaozi (Chinese Dumplings)
Filled with vegetables and or meat, Jiaozi - or Chinese dumplings - is a common street food. They are shaped like ancient gold bars, which are believed to bring good luck to you. Jiaozi is eaten all year round, but more so in Chinese New Year.
*Baozi (Chinese Bread)
Baozi is a dough bread that is often filled with juicy meat such as***baked or vegetable, steamed in a steaming tray made of bamboo. They are prepared in the same way Jiaozi dumplings are prepared the difference is the baozi consists of a thicker dough, as well as a larger amount of filling.
After waiting for some time the food they ordered had arrived and without waiting for Prince Wu Xiao's cue immediately devoured his voracious jiaozi.
"You don't seem to have eaten for a year" Yiu sneered as he drank his green tea.
"You know, I hate palace food. There the food was always cold because the palace regulations every meal hour all members of the new kingdom can eat when the Emperor and the Empress have been present unless there is an important business, The emperor would always arrive late and the food already served would be cold" Prince Wu Xiao spoke at length as he chewed on his fifth jizao and third baozi.
"You're such a chatty look" Yiu chuckled in annoyance at Prince Wu Xiao's far-off babble.
After finishing the breakfast with a little bit of mouth-to-mouth and a dime from Prince Wu Xiao, the two finally decided to immediately return to the palace before their disguise was detected.
Wu Xiao parked his horse next to a wall bordering the pavilions of Yiu with a large tree towering over the walls of the palace fence.
Yiu and Prince Wu Xiao climbed up the tree and walked slowly while looking down on the sloping, slippery roof of the pavilion and down near the window of Yiu's pavilion.
"Immediately change your clothes and pretend to be asleep, thank you for accompanying me this morning hopefully fate will bring us together again after this" Prince Wu Xiao smiled then rushed towards his pavilion before being discovered.
Yiu was silent but his manic continued to focus on Prince Wu Xiao until his body was lost behind the palace walls.
Fortunately today the guard behind the pavilions was a little careless because they were too busy taking care of the invited guests who one by one left Zhang Palace to return to their respective kingdoms.
Yiu immediately changed her clothes with the sleeping hanfu she was wearing earlier and sat down at the bedside and just as she wanted to lay down her body suddenly the room door was opened quickly by Chichi making Yiu turn her head quickly.
The look on his face was like someone who had just run a marathon, pale complete with breathless breath and fear implied clearly in his eyes.
"Daughter, we should be right back. There was an attack in the Qiu Wang royal area, the princes had to immediately quell the attack by bringing reinforcements from allies" Chichi's remarks succeeded in making Yiu jerked in shock.
Why is my feeling bad?
