The Flower Of War

The Flower Of War
Chapter 35: Entering the Trap

Yiu sat himself in a chair near the arena to still be able to see the entertainment interlude while resting his body for a while anyway if he returned to his seat would be too troublesome because it was in the second level tower.

Soon, a group of girls entered with their clothes churning beautifully in the wind, they all wore beautiful and sparkling clothes like heavenly beauty and began to dance in the middle of the arena with soft music that made every pair of eyes could not help but adore the beauty that existed in front of them.

Yiu who was motionless from his position just stared at the empty air in front of him still tightly holding his sword and sometimes threw a short into the air and then caught him back from boredom, he had been interested in the dance entertainment presented in front of him for a while before feeling the dance was boring and the movement was repeated.

Yiu is now in the midst of his fiery aura that is very ready to face the opponent and by seeing a show that he thinks is too boring in addition he now feels the time moves longer than it should make him not can't get any worse.

If only Yiu was not at the formal event now he would have forced his way into the arena, forcibly evicted the dancing girl from the arena and dragged the origin of the man who could sword fight with her. The one who had made Yiu's hands itch wanted to fight with someone else!

On the sidelines of entertainment, Chichi had several times offered tea and gentle massage for Yiu who had put up his sour face with a reply to raw repulsion by Yiu.

After waiting for almost two incense sticks to burn, finally the girls' dance was finished and now it was time to continue the fight that had been delayed a while ago.

Prince Wu Xiao was already on the other side of the arena and entered earlier than Yiu. They stood facing each other with swords in their right hands.

The two beads are now staring at each other separated by several feet. Yiu with a slightly flushed face with impatience and Prince Wu Xiao who still had a big smile but seemed to have hidden intentions on his white face.

"How are you LiYing? Is it as long as I'm not around you are still secretly making troublemakers outside hmm? How many robbers have you killed in the market lately or how many have you secretly bought tenthulu there? Say it!"

[A/N: Make the forgetful:v LiYing was Wu Xiao's special nickname for Yiu because Yiu had disguised himself as Zhou Li so that Li's suffix name was used as an additional first name for Ying and 'crazy man' it was a special nickname also from Yiu to Wu Xiao gegara his behavior is very 'deviating' from the nature of the prince:v eh understand gk anyway?.. If you still understand re-read aja chap 14 ya hehe]

Prince Wu Xiao opened the conversation first and tried to tease Yiu like when they met Zhang Wu.

Yiu turned his head mid-size and put on an attacking standby position after hearing the 'preparate' cue from General Meng Yao who was on top of the tower.

"Stop playing around, Mad Man or I'll kill you!" At the same time Yiu attacked Wu Xiao with a stab aimed at the abdomen and swiftly Wu Xiao turned his body to the side to avoid the attack before taking the time to reply to Yiu.

"Are you sure you can kill me, LiYing? You won't be able to find another friend as handsome and attractive as me in this world do you have a heart hmm?" Prince Wu Xiao's body continued to move and occasionally carried out attacks towards Yiu with a mouth that did not also stop chattering indistinctly.

"I don't have any friends!" Yiu slashed towards the foot but his attack was immediately read by Wu Xiao who immediately jumped to the side and attacked Yiu from the side.

Wu Xiao again spoke with his horse's grin clearly imprinted on his white face ignoring Yiu's scary face which if seen by ordinary people then it was certain that the person would instantly faint from fear after seeing it.

"Your violence and your unhappiness has never changed since we first met, LiYing! ... with this cold attitude of yours no one will want to be friends with you and you will be alone for the rest of your life unless you want to be my friend how can we help each other?"

Yiu's face darkened further and Yiu became more aggressive in attacking, he started slashing, stabbing, scuttering, and attacking, and doing many feint moves but all of them could be clearly read by Wu Xiao made his eyes look even more terrifying.

"No will! Shut the fuck up! I'm sick of hearing useless rants from you!" Yiu's patience was thinning and his attacks were getting more aggressive but Wu Xiao was not someone who could be underestimated in the sword so it would be quite difficult to fight against him.

Due to fighting with the fury of Yiu's attack being too hastily fielded was quite strong by Wu Xiao and made Yiu's sword detach from his grasp.

Without thinking long Yiu lowered his head avoiding the sword slash Wu Xiao as well as trying to take back his sword that had fallen to the ground.

Before his hand managed to touch the tip of his sword, Wu Xiao's foot had already pushed back Yiu's hand and again pointed his sword towards Yiu.

Yiu's body turned sideways and lowered its head to dodge the sword attacks that were heading towards him in a row then Yiu leaned his body back and rolled to the side then quickly and vigorously, his right leg kicked at Wu Xiao's wrist which made him release his sword and was immediately caught by Yiu while rising up from the ground after rolling several times.

Now that their situation had turned around, Yiu again held the sword in his right hand and Wu Xiao who was empty-handed.

Yiu tilted his cold smile then charged back at Wu Xiao with a slight run as the distance between the two became quite far after Yiu rolled on the ground.

Unexpectedly Wu Xiao lowered his head and rolled on the ground just as Yiu had just done the difference was that his movements were faster and more agile than Yiu's.

The Nobles who saw the fight with such a unique move started to whisper to each other and some began to secretly laugh at the scene that Prince Wu Xiao was doing.

Shortly after rolling around seven or eight rounds Prince Wu Xiao threw the ground that had been in his hands before, which he had already, making Yiu reflexively close his eyes so that the ground would not hit his eyes and then open them slightly made him lose focus for a moment but still try to weave his origin sword and squash his movements in the air.

The fog of the ground created for a moment, covering the two fighters finally disappeared and Yiu re-opened his manic.

When he opened his eyes it turned out that the sword he thought was in empty air was already on Prince Wu Xiao's neck, for a moment Yiu was having fun but after seeing the direction Prince Wu Xiao's right hand was pointing towards him, Yiu finally realized the situation completely.

They both lost!

Prince Wu Xiao's sword was already near his neck, keeping both of them locked in the opponent's lockdown, both of them could only stay still and do nothing.

Because if they move just a little, the opponent's sword is ready to slice thin the skin of their neck or vice versa.

The situation becomes silent for a moment. Not long ago began to be crowded heard various whispers that are mutually simple.

"Look, they both lose so who wins?"

"Right, his second sword was on his opponent's neck so they could be considered balanced! Both are winners!"

"Their abilities are equally great so it will be very difficult to determine who the winner is when viewed from the skill of the sword. But Prince Wu Xiao might be a little superior?"

Some Royal Princesses started whispering about the outcome of this fight and guessing who the winner of the sword fight was this time around.

Amid growing whispers that turned into a topic of conversation, Emperor Feng clapped slowly but loudly with a grinning smile in his authoritative interview.

"The match is quite unique but still memorable good good you two are indeed great!!"

Yiu and Wu Xiao lowered their respective swords and stood next to each other facing Feng Kingdom then bowed briefly.

The difference in faces of the two looks very contrasting, Prince Wu Xiao with a big, friendly smile that is always clearly sculpted on his face and a cold face with glass-clear beads and as sharp as an eagle that does not show the hospitality clearly printed on his face face Yiu.

The battle clothes of both of them were waving slowly danced in the air looking like waves and with their strapping backs and swords in their right hands each made them look like sky warriors that were so alluring.

"Your Majesty, let me ask you who is the winner of this match? Both swords were both on the neck of the opponent and that meant they were both defeated!" General Meng Yao lowered her head respectfully waiting for an answer to his question.

"Why are you asking me, General? Is it not clear who the winner is? They are both winners!"

General Meng Yao understood the meaning of the Emperor's words and lowered her body even more before standing straight back towards the arena where Yiu and Prince Wu Xiao were standing.

"Congratulations to Prince Wu Xiao and Princess Wang YingMei you two are the winners of this year's match! Congratulations on your victory!" The loud voice of General Meng Yao rang out to the corners of the tower followed by a noisy sound from the applause of everyone present including Emperor Feng and Empress Hua Ji and the immediate congratulations of the Prince and Princess from the their seats were patted by their hands.

Yiu smiled slightly but there was a slight hint of discontent in his heart, after saluting he turned around about to exit the arena before Prince Wu Xiao's low voice stopped his intentions.

"Next time don't let your opponent provoke your emotions and start learning to control your emotions so as not to get angry quickly just because of trivial things because it will be your weakness someday ... and if I hadn't thrown the ground and risked my life by putting my neck by your sword you would have lost your face by now so you should have thanked me well even though I knew I wouldn't please do. ... So congratulations on your victory, LiYing!"

Wu Xiao walked out of the arena after finishing his words leaving Yiu who was still pecking at his position for a while with an unpredictable face before finally walking in the direction of Prince Wu Xiao out of the arena.
