Chapter 16: Self Pride

Yiu understood the Crown Prince's words because if someone was being interrogated and lying then that person would forget his lie after being urged by another question that made him lie again.

Yiu tried to smile calmly even though he was very nervous inside.

"Where have you seen Minister Mu Tong and the servant meet to conspire?" said Crown Prince Xiao Ce firmly staring straight at Yiu.

"I saw them meeting in the back garden west of the palace which was quite quiet with Prince Wu Xiao" Yiu said.

"Then how can you be with Prince Wu Xiao in such a deserted place? What did you two do before?" crown Prince Xiao Ce's speech rose by an octave.

Yiu paused for a moment, he forgot to make a strong reason about this matter. Did he really have to tell his brother if he who was divorcing the three princesses who were arguing suddenly pulled Wu Xiao to that place and then he cursed Yiu and even had time to hug Yiu's?

Hoho have you lost your mind Yiu?.

"I was talking to the three princesses from another kingdom while walking around the palace garden and accidentally met Prince Wu Xiao, who was a royal, he invited us to talk for a while then the three princesses resigned because the party was about to start but I was still talking to Prince Wu Xiao."

Yiu further solidified his tone.

"After some time we decided to go back to the party and we accidentally saw the silhouette of a cloaked man walking towards a dim place and we agreed to investigate who the man was, stealing the hearing of the cloaked man's conversation with a servant then we devised a plan to trap the cloaked man who turned out to be Minister Mu Tong. And the servant I brought earlier was the servant who met with Minister Mu Tong earlier. We have done nothing but talk and plan the strategy that has become a spectacle today."

Yiu explained some of the facts and made up some of the stories so as not to further arouse suspicion for Crown Prince Xiao Ce.

Yiu was used to facing situations that required him to make up a storyline that slightly missed the facts.

He had been trained to be calm when making up a story even he was taught by the leader directly in the previous life, he said, at that time Yiu was still a new member of the special personnel and was only given to the best person of the special forces.

"If only the Prince and Prince Huang knew my true identity doesn't that mean Prince Wu Xiao really thinks I'm a man and he has no intention other than to talk? However, if Prince Wu Xiao really likes his fellow men" Yiu continued his words to dismiss the Crown Prince's bad thoughts.

"Your words are correct Princess Ying, I am temporarily releasing you but I will not fall a second time like that time. Now it's night time you better get some rest and gather some energy to prepare for our departure tomorrow afternoon to return to Qiu Wang Kingdom"

The Crown Prince stood followed by Prince Huang and Yiu, then the Crown Prince suddenly stroked Yiu's head gently making the downcast empress raise her head to the Crown Prince with a surprised look. He felt dejavu with the behavior of the Crown Prince which was very similar to his father at that time.

"I'm glad you changed a lot Princess Ying" said Crown Prince Xiao Ce smiling faintly and then stepped out of Yiu's pavilion.

Prince Huang who saw the rare event only fell silent stiff without a word thrown from him.

He dissolves with his own thoughts and is unaware of the Crown Prince's departure, Prince Huang still faithfully stood rigidly facing Yiu who was the same as himself who was staring at the figure who stepped out of the pavilion with a look no less surprised.

This was the first time that Crown Prince Xiao Ce had been warm to his notoriously weak youngest brother. Crown Prince Xiao Ce is known as a person who hates people who are young but have a weak nature no matter if his youngest brother himself is weak he will not hesitate to show his hatred.

Yiu stared at the ceiling of his room which was ground brown, his brain rewinding the memory of today along with Prince Wu Xiao.

For some reason Yiu felt at peace when he saw the pair of dark green beads that hypnotized him when their beads met, he felt like he was seeing Han his best friend who he really missed. It was not felt that the corner of Yiu's lips was raised upwards forming a faint curved stroke.

What are you thinking Yiu! He was not Han but he was Prince Wu Xiao. You're dead and now you're trapped in the body of the dead princess and now all you have to do is make this body not insulted and looked down upon anymore. So don't involve feelings in the special mission of the Gods.

Yiu cursed himself inwardly, indeed for Yiu trapped in this weak body is a special mandate from the Gods to help raise the good name of this body.

Yiu woke up to the sound of a knock on the west window of her room.

Yiu got up from his bed as fast as lightning and had prepared the guts to fight it was possible that the person who knocked on the window wanted to rob the goods here but made sure there was no one or indeed that person inside ill-intentioned for him.

Fortunately, the window was still tightly locked so he could still prepare before facing the person behind the window.

His hand opened the window and pushed it open as quickly as possible.

"www."

There was a sound like this window crashing into something hard and followed by the sound of a heavy groan typical of a man.

"Think it's a stupid thief!" Yiu smiled proudly to himself and began to bully the fallen man while holding his head that was throbbing pain.

But wait ...

Why did Yiu feel that something was awkward here or maybe there was something he had forgotten?

Yiu, who was still half conscious, thought that he was in his room in his previous life and thought that the person behind the window was a thief who wanted to rob his house.

Yiu was silent for a moment, his manic was still fixed on the man who looked dressed like a commoner, the man tried to stand in alignment with Yiu.

It looks like the man wants to spray Yiu's face that is still daydreaming with his frustration and unkemptness that he can no longer stand.

His hand moved to hold Yiu's shoulder and shook it hard so that he regained his senses from his daydream and so that he could quickly return to gush Yiu with the annoyance he felt plus a little snapping.
