[VOL 1] Gold and Silver Spear - Part 4

"Rain sit down" pinta Elsa.

Rain thought that his mother would leave immediately after dropping him off. But it turns out the assumption was wrong. His mother sat on the bed, and he told her to sit next to him.

"Y-yes," Rain replied. Then sit next to his mother.

Rain looked at his mother. "Sorry Mom, I don't know" Rain replied.

"You know, that spear was the spear that your grandfather used when stopping the war against the kingdom of demi-humans. With that spear also your grandfather has defeated the demon who became a sheepfighter between the human race and the kingdom of demi-humans" explained Elsa.

Rain was just listening to that.

"The reason mother gave you that spear is, that you too inherit the nature of your grandfather, who not only stopped and saved the human race and the demi-human race, from being destroyed by war. But also protecting a family that was very precious to her," Elsa held her son's head. "You don't have to reach out and be the same as your grandfather, but just protect your family."

Rain looked down at all the advice his mother gave him. True what his mother said, family is certainly the most important thing, even very important. 

Rain then turned his head and looked at his mother with determination. "Mom, I promise ... will definitely protect my family!" said it.

"Yes, that's my mother's son."

"But ma'am, why don't you punish the Duke's four children. Clearly they intend to spread a bad issue against us?" 

Hearing her mother tell her to protect her family, Rain makes her question this. Because what he did before was also to protect his family, but why even his mother also stopped him, even for Rain his mother seemed to not care, because releasing them just without punishment at all.

"Rain .. Sometimes when we think that what we do is right, but actually it is wrong. Protecting does not always have to use violence. I actually want you to learn this on your own from your experience, but I'll give you a little bit of a picture of today's problems" Elsa said.

Rain's facial expression looked solemn after hearing that.

"Another possibility is worse?" Rain tilted his head with a confused face. 

"Now I ask, what kind of issue do they want to spread at that time?" 

"The one about me intentionally hurting William" Rain replied with a lethargic face. Recalling it made him think about his sister who might have been hurt by it, but he had never intentionally done that at all.

"Now imagine, if you managed to hurt them because of your anger at that time being accused of deliberately injuring William, what about all the people who were there, who saw you directly injure them?" ask Elsa.

Rain's eyes slowly enlarged, he began to realize the mistake he had made.

"Those who thought it was just an issue. Could've turned them into believing that you really hurt William, right?" ask Elsa again.

"That's right, I didn't think at all until there," murmured Rain.

"Because you've gone berserk today, maybe some of those who watch already have such thoughts," said Elsa.

"Mom ..sorry, because of me, this has become a more complicated matter instead" Rain said with a face full of regret.

"Yes mother forgives her .. but next time you have to take care of your emotions more" Elsa said as she stroked her son's white hair.

Rain only nodded in reply, while his face still looked extremely regretful.
