[VOL 1] _Shock - Part 3
The next day, it was still morning. William walked alone to his father's room. I don't know if he was suddenly told to face his father as soon as possible.
It was rare for his father to call him this. Curiosity began to appear along with the anxiety of his heart which seemed to give a message that something bad, will be conveyed to him.
'I mustn't think of anything that doesn't, ' William shook his head, hoping that the bad thoughts and anxiety he experienced disappeared together.
William arrived right in front of his father's room. He took a deep breath trying to calm himself. After feeling a little calm William knocked on the door in front of him.
"Dad. It's me" said William.
"Come in" said his father's voice from within.
William slowly opened the door and walked inside. However, his steps stopped.
"Mother?" William was stunned when he saw that his mother was inside.
Heard his second son calling. Elsa replied with a friendly smile on her face.
"William, come here" Elsa said with a smile, and told her to come inside to sit on the sofa right next to her.
"Y-yes," replied William. For some reason when he saw his mother's smile, he felt a shock in his heart. Behind that smile, it was like something was hidden. But I don't know what William does not know.
On the other hand, as he glanced towards his father. A pale color that looked exhausted was plastered on his father's face. His eyes were blackened like those who never slept.
'What is this?' inner William. Not only confused with the atmosphere here. William also tried to understand his own increasingly agitated feelings.
"William why are you just silent. Come here," call Elsa.
"Yes ma'am" replied William and walked towards his mother. Then sit right next to him. Elsa also hugged her son's shoulder.
"Mom, dad, what's going on? Why do you look like you're hiding something?" ask William. The feeling in his heart seemed to force him to ask this.
Hearing that, Elsa and Desir were flabbergasted for a moment. The two also looked at each other for a moment. They were completely unaware that the expressions of the two of them had turned out to be read by their son.
Elsa then nodded silently towards Desir.
The swish that saw him let out a long sigh, showing the weight he was holding back.
William who saw that between the two could only ask in his heart what had happened.
The swish stared straight at William. Although it was the look of an exhausted person but for some reason, it made his heartbeat pound very strongly.
"What's dad?" ask William.
"In a few days you will have a resurrection ceremony" his father said.
"Eh?" William was shocked to hear that. His head felt empty in an instant.
Questions also started to appear in his head. 'What's up? Why, suddenly like this? What's the matter, actually?'
The questions repeatedly came up and seemed to go around asking the same thing.
Elsa who saw the look of shock from her son, looked extremely agitated. "William, calm down" he called as he patted William on the shoulder.
William looked at his mother. The mouse who saw his son's behavior felt pain inside him.
Disappointment in himself. Failing to protect important things as a father. Confused by his own choices, everything was mixed and turned into a very rhythmic feeling in him.
"Mother, what exactly happened? Why is this so sudden?" ask William.
"William, calm down" said Elsa.
William saw a bitter color on his mother's face, as if he had felt it.
Feeling that it was impossible to get an answer from his mother, William turned to look at his father. "Dad, why is this so sudden?"
"You will know the answer during the ceremony," replied Desir, looking down, trying to avoid his son's gaze.
William was increasingly confused by what happened. And turned to look at his mother once more. "Mother, why? What's the matter, actually?"
Elsa was silent, smiling sadly.
