[VOL 1] Incident after the ceremony - Part 3

"William, go!" said Rain while hinting using his hands.

"Yes!" sahut William's.

William ran straight towards Rain. By pointing the tip of his sword backwards.

"Hm?!" Rain frowned seeing that. He could not see the position of William's sword tip, making him unable to guess what attack would be directed at him. It also made him unable to guess where the attack came from.

Rain put up his horses by holding his sword in front. This is a commonly used defensive pattern. This was also what Rain had deemed most effective, for now.

'I've always been amazed by him. He could find what I had never thought before, Inner Rain. 

Rain realized that the one who taught William the sword was himself. But that's just a basic technique.

Seeing the development of his younger brother who always applied the 'basic' of sword techniques with things he never thought of made Rain realize, how intelligent and talented William was in terms of using the sword.

Rain was actually better at using a spear than a sword, but he did not want to use it. Rain only wanted to fight using the sword against William. It was because he also hoped to learn from William.

Rain grew even more alert as he watched William continue to run towards him. As William was about three meters away, William suddenly jumped towards him. 

Rain gasped in shock at the unexpected. At the same time William swung his sword diagonally from below. 

"Too easy!" Rain smiled as he tried to dodge William's attack, stepping back.

But the unexpected happened. 

'What?!' Rain was startled for a moment before the tip of the sword reached his face, William directly thrust his sword straight towards Rain, and it left him in shock. 

Rain could not shake it off, as the position of the sword he was carrying was too far away with William's sword stab point. 

Rain had never expected that William would change the direction of his sword in the midst of his attack.

Rain spontaneously drained his spirit energy into his legs, and leapt back to dodge William's attack, while keeping his distance from William.

William smiled at Rain who was trying to get away from him, at that moment William immediately pulled off his sword, and kicked the end of the handle of his sword. 

William's sword shot straight and towards Rain.

Rain spontaneously used the sword in his hand to pull over William's sword which almost hit his face.

At the same time, Rain was shocked that William was suddenly in front of him, and had already slid his fist from below towards his chin. 

Rain jumped and salto backwards dodging William's attack. 

William made use of it, and immediately took out his sword on the ground that he had just thrown.

'William you turned out to be ingenious as well, yes,' Inner Rain with a smile on her face. He had not expected his sister to intentionally attack him just to make him retreat and utilize it to take back his sword.

After taking out his sword William wasted no time, directly dashed towards Rain, and slashed out his sword.

"Hoo, your attacks are getting faster and faster huh," Rain said with a smile, as he tilted his body avoiding William's diagonal slash.

"I don't need a compliment" replied William. She was not at all pleased with her brother's praise. That was because the attack he launched had not been able to hit Rain at all.

"Then keep attacking me, until it hits!" said Rain.

"That was my intention from the beginning!" William Sahut.

William continued to attack and tried to hit Rain. And Rain seems to have dodged all of William's attacks very well. Rain had not even used his sword at all.

Perhaps according to William, Rain was seen just playing around with him because he did not use his weapon at all.

Rain had no intention of going that way. For Rain himself, he was forced to evade William's attack. Rather because of William's attack, being at a very difficult angle for him to fend off using his sword.

Every time William's sword nearly collided with Rain's, William must have instantly changed the direction of his attack. Making Rain unable to fend it off and spontaneously only able to avoid it.
