[VOL 1] Information - Part 4

After listening to some of that information, Eriaz felt the need to investigate this more deeply. It's just a mandate from his Master to tell him to guard William, secretly. So it is impossible for him to divide his duties just for this matter, although actually finding this information is also very important. But keeping William is obviously much more important.

'Don't His Highness Bauld really already know this matter?' inner Eriaz.

It was awkward that suddenly his parents gave him orders and at the same time there was a commotion of this magnitude in the kingdom of Brama. Plus this commotion is also related to William.

It would be strange if this was just a coincidence. If so, is this not too fitting, to be called that.

'There's no point thinking about this now. I'd better hurry to find the prince's whereabouts, and make sure he's safe, ' Inner Eriaz. 

However, at that moment he suddenly got another thought. 'Truely why didn't I use it?' inner Eriaz while looking towards Lycan in front of him.

"Then can I use your services?" ask Eriaz. Looking at his job selling information, it seems there is no harm in using it to find the information he needs. Think Eriaz.

Hearing that this Lycan smiled widely. "Hoo, my services are very expensive" he said.

Eriaz without saying anything immediately took out a bracelet in his pocket and poured his magic power on the bracelet.

A while later the bracelet began to emit a faint green light. The diameter of the bracelet also enlarges as the space within the bracelet forms a black portal.

Eriaz put his hand inside and took out a small pouch like the bag of gold coins he had previously brought. Then throw it towards Lycan in front of him.  "It should be more than enough."

Lycan reflexively caught it, then looked at the contents.

"Th-this?" Lycan's eyes widened in shock when he saw that there were many stones the size of various colored pebbles inside.

There was no way he didn't know that cluster of colorful stones. One piece of this stone could be worth a bag of ordinary gold coins. 

"Yes, it's a magic stone" Eriaz said.

"B-but this much," Lycan still couldn't believe what he was holding. It's obviously too much.

"What's wrong?" Eriaz asked back. "So how?"

Lycan smiled with satisfaction. "What do you want?" 

"I want you to find out who the nobles are behind this. And which kingdom is associated with them" the Eriaz pinta. 

Clearly these people should be cleaned up as soon as possible.

"It's very risky" Lycan said. 

Of course dealing with this problem is not an easy thing. Eriaz was well aware of this as well. Not only were they spying on the nobles, they would also have to spy on other kingdoms, if his conjecture was indeed true. And that means they have to deal with special units that might be sent by that kingdom.

"All that magic stone is just a down payment. If you do a good job, I'll give you twice as much as that" Eriaz said.

No matter what, if it's a matter of his master's family's safety. All those magic stones were still arguably very cheap for him. That's what Eriaz thought.

"Ha—. Hahahaha, Huahahaha," this Lycan man was unable to hold back his laughter upon hearing the payment that Eriaz offered him.  "Alright sir, I'll get that information, you can leave this to us" he replied with a big smile on his face.

Eriaz nodded happily to hear it. "I'm good to wait for good news from you."

"Good, Sir."

"Then I'll go first." After making sure the need here is done. Eriaz got up from his seat intending to leave this place.

But Lycan's men stopped him immediately. "Wait for Mister, please bring this," he said as he handed a very small object to Eriaz.

Eriaz. "Hm? What'sthis?" 

"That's a communication tool that we've modified into earrings. This way we can tell you at any time" Lycan said.

"Hoo, interesting. All right I'll take it" said Eriaz. Then he turned around and left the room.

"It's good to do business with you, sir," said Lycan, looking down at Eriaz who had walked away.
