The First Conqueror's

[VOL 1] Task - Part 2

"Minea, Mikea," call Elsa. This time it was his second task.

"Yes, Your Majesty," said the two together.

"You two are a little different. It's also probably going to be a tough task for both of you" Elsa explained.

Both of them frowned, with curious faces.

"Of course, if I could know. What kind of duty will Your Majesty give us" asked Minea.

Mikea who was next to him just kept quiet, waiting for Elsa's answer. 

If Elsa says that this is heavy, it usually does not mean that their task is dangerous. So the two wondered what Elsa meant by weight this time.

Elsa begins to recount the incident as she goes on an expedition with Lilia and also Reny. "A few weeks ago, I was with Reny and Lilia found an ancient site .. and there I met a Giant Titan" he said.

"Giant Titan!?" Everyone except for Reny and Lilia seemed to flinch upon hearing Elsa mention Gian Titan.

Elsa continued. "I was even forced to fight against one of the site's gatekeepers, who turned out to be a golem driven by one Giant Titan. Although it was only a golem, but its strength was incredible. But even more terrifying was when the Giant Titan who controlled the golem came out" Elsa said.

Everyone listened to Elsa's story with a very serious face. 

Elsa looked up, imagining those moments. "I just met him for the first time. But who would have thought that what was said in the ancient records was just a joke" he said.

"Dude?" Minea muttered confusedly. "What does Your Majesty mean, they are not as strong as they have been written in history?"

Elsa giggled funny hearing that. "Not Minea, but quite the opposite. Their strength is far more terrifying than I imagined. Eve her existence alone is very strong, even as if she wants to swallow me," said Elsa.

Minea swallowed his saliva. He couldn't imagine what it was like. If his existence alone was already so domineering, what sort of creature would be fighting at full strength? What kind of destruction will be created? … horrible is just the most suitable phrase to describe it.

Mikea nodded in agreement. "That's right, they should have been extinct thousands of years ago" he said.

Information like the Giant Titan, is very little. The ancient records that tell their stories have been mostly broken. That was because to their knowledge, all the strongest races like the Giant Titan, and the Dragon had already gone extinct since thousands of years ago.

It's not that they don't believe in Elsa. This information was too sudden for them.

Elsa also agreed on the opinion of the two. "Yes, you're right. They are all said to be extinct .. No, it may be more appropriate to be called extinct than extinct ... But I met them. This may be just my guess, but it doesn't seem like they're extinct. Instead of closing yourself, with the outside world," explained Elsa.

Since William was unconscious, Elsa also set aside a little time to search for information about the Giant Titan secretly. 

What he could deduce was that there was too little information he could get. This also led to the idea that the Giant Titans deliberately omitted information about their own existence from the outside world.

If not, it should be easy to find relics of historical buildings regarding their race. But it wasn't found, until he accidentally found it. From this also Elsa argues, that the dragon race must also do the same thing.

What he knew was the relic of the dragon race which was the labyrinth. And that place is now guarded by his father. Only he and his father knew about this. But his father never told him about the possibility that the dragon race was still alive.

Elsa is not very close to her father, since she recounts that there is a possibility that William is a Conqueror. Honestly, he regretted telling his father about William's problems.

All this is not without reason. That was because the ways and methods his father used to awaken the power of Conqueror were extreme, which would put William's life at risk. Elsa, who is a mother, obviously does not want her child to experience such a terrible thing.
