Eps. 54. Going Further

Afternoon is another day than usual, not because the sun is still emitting rays that do feel hotter, not also because they receive catering orders or more food.

There's Ben in his room, Keke hasn't seen since coming out of the room what Ben's doing in there, he's reluctant to peek even though he wants to know. He asked for permission to sleep there for some reason. Now there's papa too, coming with Inge and Lody as well as two men that Keke doesn't know. Shophouses that are now becoming more open are visited by more people nearby. In previous years there were only Keke, Rommel and his children and three employees.

Papa asked for permission to look around the back of the house and is now upstairs with the two men. Lody sat with Rommel at the front of the shophouse, his sister easily mingled with anyone including Lody. And the kids haven't come back from the house in the back compound. Inge has since followed Keke, first noticing Keke completing a lumpia order for rudis wawali, now Keke and Inge are sitting together at the dining table upstairs.

There are some small confectionaries made by Keke on the table as well as tea and coffee made by aunt Lenda. Keke just finished bathing, he did not dare to enter his own room, he took clothes from clothes that had just dried, wearing after ironing first.
