Eps. 10. Omen

Ben just finished running on the treadmill. Thirty minutes, only once he had time to exercise again. After three busy weeks, the problems with the subcontractors slowly began to unravel and he began to settle down one after another. So this weekend he can enjoy a little bit of his personal time.

At 6am... Ben leaned against the railing of his upper porch, sweat still pouring, favorite tea bottle on hand.

"Sir.. I went into the house yes..."

Denny said half a scream from the side of the road.

"Please..."

Ben was still leaning now resting on his two hands, the tea bottle in his hand was up, the empty bottle had already been thrown into the trash. His eyes caught the figure of a woman, maybe the mother of Yica and the guy who served him in the shop last week.

They went up and down two steps at the side door of the shophouse, back and forth to the car parked in the narrow hallway. They were lowering big bags and big boxes. The woman looks very deft and used to lift large volume items. Benaya's eyes involuntarily continued to follow Keke's movements.

Josh was right, women with bodies that are not too big, still taller Rebbeca, can carry a load of large size. Before long the scenery changed, the pick-up car had retreated out of the narrow hallway, now empty again.

Feeling that there was nothing more interesting to see, Ben went downstairs with the trash can.

"No need, I'll clean it myself. Today I have no activities..."

Om Denny walked out. Ben went up to his room again, picked up the dirty clothes in the basket, went back downstairs, picked up the socks on his three shoes and went to the laundry room. She had gotten used to doing it herself, washing and ironing clothes and cleaning the house was no longer a difficult thing since she lived alone in the apartment. Just some special clothes that need dry clean that he brought to the laundry.

An hour and a half, more or less, Benaya washed her clothes and cleaned the entire house upstairs and downstairs. As he was about to let go of his thirst, Ben saw that the water in the dispenser was running out, as was his favorite tea bottle.

Just intending to find Denny, he remembered something, he had been too spoiled lately, since coming here, since he had been, because there are 3 subordinates who are ready to do what he asks including personal matters. There are even two girls who are ready to serve if he wants to, but don't ask again, he doesn't like it, they are afraid to offer help. Benaya took a wallet and then took a gallon of water, exchange it yourself, anyways near me, only in the front shop. Just with jeans shorts and a plain white singlet t-shirt Ben headed for the shophouse.

In front of the shophouse, the door only opened slightly fitting his body, Ben just entered...

"Hello. noon..."

There is no law....

"Hello...."

"Hayo. hayo..."

Nothing appeared, but the voice of the little boy was now familiar in his ears.

"Yica... Yi.ca..."

Ben called the little girl with narrow eyes while leaning in the display cabinet, gallons of water he had placed on the floor. The boy appeared later...

"What...? Yica matan tati duyu (Lisya eat kentucky first) ..."

The boy came in again.

"Hello. noon..."

Samar sounded the conversation...

"There's a mami Thethe..."

"Who?"

"Om. mau beyi ayiy mum (buy drinking water)..."

"We haven't opened yet..."

Si Lisya came out again, in her hand was a piece of chicken thigh, her mouth was chewing...

"Om mawbbby knyk...."

He smiled at the little boy who was trying to say something with his mouth full. A few moments later...

Ben began to understand the meaning of the narrow-eyed child before him.

Benaya doesn't understand....

"Om his name is Benaya..."

Ben laughs.It's funny this kid, his chadel changed the total good name given papa Fredrik.

"Because, baby. later Fredrik opa angry loh name om replaced the same Yica..."

"Om Beyabeya..tan? (d)..."

"Denger yes... Benaya Petra Manoppo, Benaya Manoppo..."

Si Beyabeya did not want her name changed Lisya at will then mention her full name. How about Beya-beya want to serve the Yica?

"She popo..."

"Oh my goodness... Yica call Ben aja...

"Male..."

"Yes, that's better..."

At the door, Keke stifled at the name, was this man in front of him Benaya Petra Manoppo whom he knew? Keke was already seen by Benaya who was still laughing.

"Eh... I want to buy some water..."

Benaya only glanced at Keke at a glance, Keke approached hesitantly, he recognized the tall man in front of him.

"Mineral water? Which one?"

"Gallon..this is the gallon..."

Ben moved the gallon further in close at Keke's feet.

"Rp. 22,500."

"Just like 10 bottles of tea..."

"Cold or ordinary?"

"Cold..."

Keke took the tea packaging bottle in question from the refrigerator, put it in a plastic bag medium in white. He glanced a little, finding Ben staring the other way, not a second looking at his face.

"Total Rp. 102,500. The gallon's raised by itself."

"Well.this...thank you..." Benaya put down the money Rp. 120,000 on top of display cabinets.

"Save it..."

Benaya had already walked out the door, leaving Keke who was staring in disbelief to meet Benaya again. I can't believe Benaya didn't recognize him. Hahh how to know again, glancing no. But maybe 7 years has an effect on a person's memory, he forgets.

But Keke still remembered Benaya's shout last time, "You're a very, very troublesome girl, don't bother my mama anymore, understand? Never stay at my house again!!!!"

Renske as a teenager, both papi mami are often out-of-town tasks, if the two go together then he is entrusted at the house om Fredrik and aunt Thalitha, papi's sidekick Reinhart and mami Vosye. Benaya does not like it because if Renske stay it means he has to take Renske to school, Ben also has to take him home when papi mami returns from out of town, far away is their home. Benaya was very disturbed because there were how many times Ben had to skip college because of taking Renske home.

Since Ben yelled at him angrily, Renske has been reluctant to be left out again, until finally a tragic incident happened to him. What Vosye's mom fears about Marlon is that it often disturbs Renske's eventual events. Renske survived, but his beloved mom and papi came home.

Keke was sad. Seeing Benaya again made him remember both his parents. It's okay if Benaya doesn't remember. But why is he here? Then where does he live? With a home clothes like that means he lives near here..he knows where to sell gallon drinking water from? The door is open a little, right? Then he seems to have met Lisya?...

Keke... Don't like the fact there's Benaya around here...
