Airin approached Javier and held the hand of the man she loved.

"Vir, you know I love you so much".

"lih". Javier slammed Airin's hand hard.

"Well, if you don't trust me. Then what are you here for?. Isn't your place not here?. As far as I know you only care about your career, but not me".

"What do you mean?". Javier twisted Airin's body to face his face.

"I told you, what do you care?. Don't you not trust me?. Then why are you demanding an explanation for me?". Airin spoke while landing his body on the bed.

"Don't beat around Airin, I know you're wasting my time right now.you're excited?". Javier's already starting to get angry.

"Did I invite you, dear Lord Javier Alexander?. Didn't you just send yourself here?. Or--- You're missing me?" Airin smiled cynically at Javier.

"Stop your shit Airin, explain it to me!". Urge Javier with rage that is ingrained.

"Alright Mr. Javier Alexander, it looks like you've grown impatient. You're still the same as you were 8 years ago".

"What do you mean?" Javier asked with a frown.

"Did you forget how many times you rejected me?. I asked you to marry me, but you rejected me outright. Do you think I don't have a parent who wants to see his son get married?". Airin wiped away her tears for a moment then continued her sentence.

"When you're at the top of your career. You forget me who always waits for your certainty. You're not ready for a household, because you're still with your ego. Mom and Dad expect a lot from our relationship. I'm just a woman who needs Vir's reassurance, until I finally meet Aditya. He gave me comfort, warmth that you never gave me. I started to get lulled, I knew what I was doing was wrong, but trust me I love you so much, even today. I may not be worth pardoning, but is what you're doing right, Vir?". "Currently, you say as if I'm the worst here, and you're the victim". Javier smiled cynically.

"Remember Airin, I did refuse to marry you back then, but I never betrayed you. Let's just say I'm being too selfish with my ambitions, but I'm doing everything so I deserve to be with you. I want to make you proud of me. If you love me, you should have stayed until the time came". Airin closed his eyes regretting what he had done five years ago.

"Vir, I'm really sorry for five years ago. But did you know?. I even live with regret. I left Aditya for you. The relationship didn't last long Vir, I didn't even do anything at the time".

"Hm, are you sure Miss Airin?". Javier asked with a mocking smile.

"What do you mean Javier?". Airin asked with a trembling voice.

"A--pa?". Airin's body trembled violently at Javier's words which managed to make his body collapse to the floor.

"So stop like you're the victim here. Let's just say I was wrong at the time. But the mistake I made was the way I knew your true nature, maybe it was God's way of working to show who was worthy to be my wife". Javier, as he passed, left Airin regretting his actions five years ago. She was crying so much.
