Tears of Sholehah's Wife

Tears of Sholehah's Wife
Episode 74's.

Forty-five days later ....

This afternoon Jihan was helping Salma and Aisyah prepare the ingredients to make tomorrow's porridge, every day it was Jihan's activity and she did it with great pleasure.

“Oh yes, Ma'am. This week there is a study in the front mosque, Mbak join enggak?” Aisyah asked while squeezing the coconut milk.

“Boleh too, because it's been a long time since Mbak did not participate in the study because of the hassle of selling.” Salma Sahut.

Aisha turned her eyes to the nephew. “You're also coming, right?”

“Insha Allah, Bule.” Jihan Sahut.

“Excuse me!” Suddenly a man's voice came from the front door.

“Who is it?” Ask Aisyah.

“Before I see first.” Jihan was about to move, but Salma held her back.

“Already let Ummi alone, you continue your work.” Salma immediately got up and stepped into the living room.

Before long Salma came back while carrying a large brown envelope and directly thrust it into Jihan.

“This is for you.”

Jihan frowned. “Create me? What is this, Ummi?”

“Ummi also do not know, try you open.”

Carefully Jihan opened the envelope and took out a piece of paper, she read the contents carefully. At once Jihan's heart was pounding and suddenly limp when she knew it was her divorce certificate. Then Ammar has taken care of their divorce.

“What is it, Nak?” Salma asked curiously because she saw the change in Jihan's facial expression that became sad.

“Akta divorced me and Mas Ammar, Ummi. Now we are officially divorced religiously and legally.” Answer Jihan.

“Alhamdulillah then, means you have no more business with him.” Sahut Salma.

“Means Jihan can get married freely.” Sela Aisha.

Salma smiled meaningfully. Jihan was silent.

“I save this first.” Jihan left Salma and Aisha and went into her room.

In the room, Jihan opened the divorce deed again and looked at it with tears. Now that it's over with Ammar, there's nothing left but good and bad memories they've been through. Whether what God will plan for him after this, he only hopes that he can continue to be patient and resigned, he believes the great creator has a good destiny for him later.

Jihan exhaled, and she had decided not to return to Ammar even though Radit had canceled their sermon, because she did not want to make Salma sad, because she knew the Ummi still did not approve.

He slowly pulled the drawer of the nightstand and kept the sheet of paper, then moved from his seat and stood in front of the mirror. Jihan looked at herself, now a widow even though she was a virgin, because Ammar never touched her at all. That made them officially divorced religiously without the Iddah period when Ammar dropped talaq.

Jihan wiped her tears and immediately returned to the kitchen to help Salma and Aisyah.

“Assalammualaikum.”

“Wa’alaikumsalam.” The young man answered and raised his head to look at Joseph and Anita who were standing not far from him. “Papa? Mama?”

“Ammar, my dear son.”Anita came straight to her son.

The young man who was none other than Ammar closed the Qur'an that he held, then moved and greeted his parents.

For more than a month Ammar lived in the pesantren behind the mosque, he decided to move and closer to Allah. Ammar tried to find peace and try to be a better person, leaving the hustle and bustle of the world to be able to pursue the heaven that God promised.

“Mama is very happy with you, dear.” Anita immediately hugged Ammar's body, she was so missed because it had been a month not to meet the son.

“I also miss a lot with Mama and Papa.” Reply Ammar.

“How are you, Son?” Ask Yusuf.

“Alhamdulillah, fine, Pa.” Ammar answered, then asked. “Papa and Mama themselves how are you?”

“Alhamdulillah, we are also good.” Sahut Yusuf while rubbing the head of the son only wayangnya.

“How is it here? At home?” Ask Joseph again.

“Alhamdulillah at home, Pa. If I don't feel at home, I've run back home.” Seloroh Ammar's.

Joseph and Anita laughed in response to their son.

“Aren't you bored?” Anita was curious about the state of her son while in this boarding school.

Ammar shakes. “No, Ma. Here I found tranquility and a great deal of knowledge. Who knows out of here I could be a religious teacher.”

Joseph and Anita laughed again at their son's joke. Both are grateful for Ammar's choice to spend time in the pesantren and study religion. Ammar looks much better and cheerful than a few weeks ago.

“Then we meet Kyai Umar first, yuk!” Take Yusuf.

Ammar nodded obediently. “Iya, Pa.”

The three stepped to the back of the mosque and immediately headed for the house of Kyai Umar who was none other than the owner of the boarding house and a distant relative of Yusuf.

Although his separation with Jihan had made Ammar slumped and destroyed, he did not want to drown in regret and lamented his destiny. He realized that everything in this world was a mere deposit from God, including Jihan and himself. So he tried to give up and be sincere when God wanted to take His care.

He knows that not always reality will be in accordance with expectations, sometimes we are given trials in order to feel the pleasure of sincerity.

Ammar has sincerely released Jihan and hopes the woman he still loves is happy with others, and make what happens a valuable life lesson so that later he is more grateful for the blessings and gifts that God has given. This is how God approaches him.
