Tears of Sholehah's Wife
Episodes 18.

After finishing lunch, Ammar rushed Jihan back upstairs, leaving their parents still chatting at the dinner table.

“Now also move your stuff to my room! Mama and Papa will use this room later.” Ammar Pinta.

“Iya, Mas.” Jihan nodded and immediately cleaned up her things.

“Quickly a little! Before they board and catch us.” Ammar was impatient.

“Shortly, Mas. I have a lot of stuff!”

Inevitably Ammar also intervened and helped Jihan put her things in the suitcase.

“All of?” Ask Ammar to make sure.

“It looks like already, Mas.”

“Ya already, here the suitcase!” Ammar snatched the suitcase from Jihan's hand, then took it to the room. Jihan followed her husband.

“Tonight you slept here. But if Mama and Papa are home, you can go back to that room.” Ammar.

Jihan was a little tense, she felt nervous about having to sleep in the room with Ammar. But there was no other choice, they had to pretend to be harmonious husband and wife in front of their parents.

“Iya, Mas. Hem, but I sleep on the couch, yeah?” Doubtful Jihan asked.

“As far as you want to sleep anywhere, the important thing is to stay in this room.” Ammar Sahut.

Jihan was silent again with a sad face, it turned out that Ammar was still indifferent to him.

The day had changed, and Arif and Salma had gone home before Magrib. Now Jihan with Yusuf and Anita is performing congregational prayers, while Ammar prefers to play mobile phone in his room.

After she finished praying, Jihan kissed her parents-in-law's hands.

Anita clasped Jihan's hand and looked at her daughter-in-law expectantly. “Honey, Mama hope you always patiently accompany Ammar. Mama wants Ammar back to what he was, so Ammar is cheerful and warm again. And Mama is sure you can make it back.”

“God willing, Ma. I'll always be patient with Mas Ammar and help him become the old Ammar.” Reply Jihan.

“Thank you, yes, dear?” Anita hugged Jihan. Joseph just smiled at the interaction of his wife and daughter-in-law.

“Iya, Mother. Equally.” Jihan returned the hug to her in-laws.

Anita took off her embrace and cupped Jihan's cheek with both hands. “Now you rest, huh? Let her body fit again.”

“Good, Ma.” Jihan nodded obediently. “I go to the room first, Ma, Pa. Good night.”

“Iya, darling. Good night.” Reply Anita.

“Goodnight, Jihan.” Reply Yusuf.

Jihan stepped up and left her two in-laws. Her body still feels bad, even though her fever has started to drop.

Jihan opened the door and entered slowly, but she did not find Ammar there. But netraannya caught the balcony door of the room that opened, Jihan stepped near the door and found Ammar was sitting daydreaming on the balcony, staring at the night sky with a blank look and full of disappointment.

“Mas?” Reproof Jihan. “What's up here?”

Ammar sighed, but did not turn his eyes to Jihan.

“I still didn't expect Miranda to lie to me like this.” Ammar.

“Mas are patient. Don't mind much, it hurts again.”

Ammar was silent, not intending to reply to Jihan's words. But suddenly Ammar looked at Jihan intently, making Jihan have to swallow her saliva many times.

“I beg you to help me remember everything! Tell me about our school days!” Ammar Pinta.

Jihan again gulped, confused between having to obey or reject her husband's request. He was certainly afraid that Ammar would go back in pain like that if he was desperate to force his memory again.

Ammar interrupted quickly so that Jihan could not continue her words. “Tell me! I'll be fine. I promise not to force myself to remember, I just want to hear it from you.”

Seeing Ammar looking at him expectantly, Jihan did not have the heart to refuse. “Alright, Mas. Wait a minute.”

Jihan went and took the picture frame she had stored in the suitcase because Ammar had told her to move rooms. Jihan again approached Ammar and began to recount their school days while showing one by one their friends in the photo, and Ammar began to memorize the names of his friends.

He also tells how Ammar teases him every chance, the mischievous behavior of Ammar and the late Irvan. And unexpectedly, Ammar even laughed when he heard his mischief.

“It turns out I was that grubby first?” Ammar laughed as he shook his head. He just heard Jihan's story without trying to remember anything, because he didn't want his head to hurt anymore.

“Mas and the late Irvan are not only naughty, but also have no feelings.” Jihan.

Ammar scrunched his forehead. “Why do you say it like that?”

Jihan recounts all the bullying that Ammar and Irvan had done to Abbas, except for the confinement scene, because Jihan never knew it. The handsome face of Ammar was immediately changed heartily hearing the story of the wife.

“I really did that?”

Jihan nodded. “Yes, you always bully and insult Abbas. But he never had anything wrong. At that time I also felt annoyed with your behavior, but I could not do anything.”

Ammar exhaled a heavy breath. “Looks like I should apologize to that kid named Abbas.”

“Yes, it should be, Mas.”

“Do you know where he is now?” Ask Ammar.

“I don't know, Mas. A few months before graduation, she disappeared. No one knows where he's going. And I heard a rumor, he went abroad. But do not know the issue is true or not.”

Ammar just bowed while covering his face with both palms, he felt sorry for behaving badly towards Abbas at that time.

“Hemm, Mass. Something I want to ask.”

“What?” Ask Ammar still in the same position.

“Why do you suddenly remember about our school days? Has anyone seen or heard before?” Frightened Jihan asked, but she still had to find out the trigger Ammar asked about his past.

Hearing Jihan's question, Ammar raised his head and looked at the woman sitting by his side, making Jihan a little afraid.

“You don't need to know!” Answer Ammar flat. He couldn't possibly tell me where he knew everything from, because he didn't want Jihan to know that she was too lazy to go into his room.

Jihan only fell silent while playing her fingers, she was a little afraid just in case Ammar was angry because of her question just now.

“Hemm, but wait! You said I said I would always protect you, right?”

Jihan nodded.

“Why is it the same as Miranda said? He also said that I promised him that at school. This is no coincidence.”

“Then I have to find out. As I said, just stay casual and investigate about him.” Pinta Jihan's.

“Yes, you're right. Although I'm not good at theatrics, but I will try.” Ammar Sahut.

“I'll be ready to help if Mas need.”

Ammar smiled sweetly. “Yes already, now you rest. Aren't you sick?”

“Iya, Mas.”

“I want to go out to see Papa first.” Ammar continued and immediately left Jihan who was still amazed because she was happy because Ammar just smiled so sweetly at her.

Jihan admitted, since at the hospital earlier, Ammar's attitude changed to be more gentle and caring to him, although sometimes still a little annoying and indifferent. But that was enough to make Jihan grateful.

Jehan believes that God is heart-turning, if He wills, anything will happen. And the woman hopes this will be a good start for her relationship and Ammar. Insha'allah.
