Tama And Ratna

98. First Day of Work

Ratna's going to start work today. His first day after going through a sabbatical will definitely feel tiring. Even so afraid he asked Tama to accompany him to buy flat shoes or at least the heels were not so high because he only realized if all this time the shoes he was wearing were high-heeled. Only one wedges with heels about 3 cm which he used to wear when pregnant but it was already small because admittedly or not now Ratna became fat.

"It is very encouraging for Mother to continue working" said Tama while hugging Ratna from behind.

"Dad, I'm cooking again" said Ratna. She did not protest, only asking her husband to loosen his embrace a little.

"Mother, Mumpung Aksa has not woken up. Morning kissnya dong," said Tama while singing her lips.

Ratna put her fried egg on the plate first then turned off the stove. Ratna slightly pushed Tama away from the dangerous area of the stove then immediately grabbed the ringklik she always put next to the gas canister under the stove. Ratna rode him making his height parallel to the husband. Without further ado she wrapped her hands around Tama's neck while Tama grabbed Ratna's waist to pull her closer.

Just about to enjoy her morning kiss, the sound of Aksa's crying disperse Tama's fantasy. He is forced to let go of the link and give Ratna a chance to find out what happened to her son. He knew Aksa was whining because he felt something wet underneath. Ratna laughed as she watched Aksa continue to trace her feet protesting to change her diaper. Since the child was awake, Ratna would bathe him.

"Mas, please prepare the bath water Aksa dong. It was hot in the water kettle" cried Ratna from the room.

"Yes" answered her husband.

Go straight to the bathroom to prepare the bath water. He mixed the hot water from the kettle with cold water. He carefully checked the temperature of the water whether it was still too hot or was new enough to call Ratna. Tama helped Ratna bathe Aksa then after she finished drying Aksa's body while Ratna grabbed the telon oil and applied it to Aksa's body. Ratna did not wear too much baby powder on Aksara for fear that the powder fragments that fuse with the air were inhaled by Aksa and made her sneeze.

While singing Ratna put clothes on Aksa then raised it for her breastfeeding. He made sure first all the needs of Aksa were available and then he was ready to take a shower. While she was still inside the bathroom, Uli's nanny Aksa came. Tama saw Uli almost go into the room but soon came back out when he saw him sleeping Aksa. Tama was already wearing her uniform and seeing her made Uli a little scared. Honestly, he did not dare to do anything. Since he could get this job after being with Mr. Chandra's family for so many years, he wouldn't want to ruin it.

"Eh you have come anyway," said Ratna greeting Uli who sat folding Aksa's clothes which had not been folded by Ratna last night.

"Yes Mom, I said today I started working. I'm afraid I have to leave, I haven't arrived so I came early."

"If you don't mind you can come early, but later go home still waiting for me or Mr. there are at home yes," said Ratna was taken by Uli.

"Have you had breakfast? I make fried rice, if you want to take it. Eggs are in the refrigerator, you can fry yourself. I want to get ready first" Ratna said.

30 Minutes later, Ratna and Tama were ready to leave. Aksa was already in Uli's arms when Tama was wearing her shoes on the porch. Ratna had also just stepped out in a much different outfit to the one she was used to seeing. The new employer looks beautiful with a black knee-length skirt, a plain sky-blue shirt and short hair tied in half ornate thin make-up on her face.

Ratna walked up to her son who seemed to keep looking at his busy parents even though it was still morning. Ratna kissed her son's cheek and then put on his shoes. So did Tama who said goodbye to her son. Ratna's new bike has been in the garage since two days ago but Tama still wants to take his wife to work. He said he didn't want Ratna's first day back at work that should have been fun being marred by emotions due to traffic jams.

Tama dropped Ratna off in the hospital courtyard. After his wife kissed his hand, Tama replied by kissing her forehead recently Ratna stepped out of the hospital. When Ratna was closing the car door, from the front Tama saw Dipta and Ela coming over. First get out of the car to say hello and leave.

"Eciee who started back at work," teased Ela while swaying on Ratna's right arm.

"Mbak Ratna~~~, asikk Mbak Ratna has returned to work," this time Nita. She had just arrived and just like Ela she had her hands wrapped around Ratna's left arm while Jay and Dipta were following her from behind. In front of the elevator they meet Theo who is waiting. Just like Jay and Dipta, Theo also congratulates Ratna on her return. The six friends together entered the elevator which turned out to have Hengki inside.

"Mother doctor Ratna? Finally Dr. Ratna returned to work again. I've missed you like Mom," said Hengki with a frenzy.

"Hi Heng, how come you're getting bigger?" ratna says basa basa.

"Ah rich Mom does not add a bullet," replied Hengki made Dipta, and the entire elevator almost let loose laughing.

The elevator reached the 4th floor where their workspace was located. All those inside the elevator got off including Nita who she said moved to the General Surgery department. Nita gets a turn this year in general surgery and will work helping Dipta and Ratna. Moreover, Nita said she wanted to learn more so that she could be included in the project that her husband would pioneer. He didn't want to get it instantly.
