Tama And Ratna

54. Rebellious

Tama is grateful Ratna has not experienced any complications. Just need to stop the bleeding and he's allowed to go home. If there are no other complaints, Ratna may be able to go home tomorrow. What makes Tama even more grateful is that Ratna is strong. He was not then immersed in his own thoughts like before. Even so, Tama was still worried if it was possible for Ratna to hide her cries.

Tama just finished her work, then started packing it into a bag. He put it near his feet then he refocused on Ratna who had been asleep since a while ago. Several times she saw Ratna writhing uncomfortably either because of her aching stomach or her dizzy head. Tama followed to sleep, holding Ratna's hand and then he put his head right next to Ratna's head. After she kissed Ratna's loving forehead, Tama closed her eyes.

Around midnight, Tama suddenly felt something. Something shook his body and it was Ratna. Already with a limp, pale, and like choking conditions. The shocked Tama just woke up. Without further ado Tama pushed the emergency button and again calmed Ratna down. Whatever he can do for Ratna.

"Mas I.., no. can.., breath."

Ratna's words had even been stung. He looked like he was suffocating, even starting to lose his consciousness.

"Ratna was resistant, strong Ratna..," said Tama who was already very panicked especially after Ratna closed her eyes.

The guard nurse he had called earlier checked Ratna and then called the doctor as well. Tama was forced out of the ward, I don't know what happened. Tama grew increasingly frightened when some tools that she did not know of their function were brought in. From the small glass on the door, Tama could see if Ratna was fitted with a device that entered through her mouth. Ratna was even transferred to the ICU that night.

"It looks like something's not right. The patient had respiratory failure so we put him on a ventilator and moved him to the ICU to be noticed specifically" the doctor explained.

"But doc, this afternoon my wife was fine."

"Sir, we'll find out the cause soon. While let your wife rest first, you should accompany. Your wife must be scared. I've taken a sample of the patient's blood and when the lab results come out I'll tell you right away" the doctor said.

Tama tried to believe. It was true that it was better for her to accompany Ratna who was definitely frightened. After wearing special clothes and a mask, he stepped in and immediately sat himself right next to Ratna. Seeing Ratna in this condition made her tears escape just like that. There was no longer any strength to hold back the clear grain from flowing out. With both hands he held the hand of Ratna who was not even able to reply to him. Ratna was even only able to move her eyes. Tama lowered her head so that Ratna would not see him cry.

"Enggg..," Ratna muttered. Tama heard Ratna muttering then tried to shake her head even so small.

"Yes yes, I will not cry. Mas is strong for the sake of Ratna Mas is strong," Tama said as she wiped her tears. He knew what Ratna meant. He did not want Tama to cry over Ratna's current condition because Ratna hated looking weak.

"Rest yes, Mas accompany," said Tama, this time she stroked Ratna's cheeks and temples so that at least she could feel relaxed and forget the uncomfortable condition of her mouth.

In the morning, Ratna's condition remained as before. Tama had to leave him. The news of Ratna's illness has not spread and only Mr. Leo knows. Tama deliberately, he did not want to make a scene again at the headquarters. That's why he chose to keep going and try to look like nothing happened. Tama asked his partner to replace himself as apple leader this morning. Because honestly he was no longer able to even stand though.

Finished the apple, Tama stepped up to her desk and just sat there without doing much. Nesya had approached him because she was worried about the condition of her co-workers who, in addition to not being powered up, also pale face.

"Bang Aji isn't papa?" ask Nesya who did not get a response from Tama.

"dude? If it hurts, it is better to go home. Brother's work let Nesya finish," he said.

Tama didn't bully Nesya. He even brushed off the hand of Nesya who was trying to hold her shoulder to call for attention. Tama who did not want her emotions to explode chose to rise to her feet, but not until she stepped further her body had collapsed just like that. Nesya, Bagas, and several other co-workers saw Tama fall into a panic attack and took her to the clinic.

"Why Aji?" ask Mr. Leo who looked at Tama at the clinic.

"It must be his wife."

"Mbak Ratna why?"

"Miscarriage, and she said midnight last night had failed her breath and is still in the ICU now. Aji told me but he didn't want the kids to know. But if the condition is like this how the children do not know," said Mr. Leo.

Bagas secretly heard the conversation. Honestly he knows who has made Ratna to spend the night in the ICU. He also knows what the cause is. Bagas is not stupid. He knew he had been lied to and taken advantage of by the girl he loved, but he was too weak. He was unable to resist and ended up sacrificing himself. Because Bagas knew, Zahra would not stop unless Aji became hers.

Bagas returned to his house to meet Zahra who was arranging flowers in the living room. He can smile and casually listen to music using loudspeakers. Bagas directly slammed the portable loudspeaker into the floor to crumble making Zahra immediately shocked made.

Beyond a doubt. Zahra laughed. He then started to move his legs and got up. Not shaking at all, he was able to support his body firmly. Zahra continued to laugh and approached Bagas still with the scissors in his right hand.

"I killed Adiratna. Wh why? You don't take it?" said Zahra lightly.

"You're crazy."

"I'm really crazy. You knew that from the beginning. But foolishly you covered up all my madness and destroyed yourself" said Zahra, still laughing and sinless.

Directly bagas emotions created. During this time the goal to be able to change Zahra for the better turned out to be a total failure. Bagas thought, with the good influence he always gave would make Zahra aware and no longer continue his path until lost this far.

"You're a policeman Zahra realize."

"Police? I didn't even graduate from the academy. What did you say? I'm police?"

"But I'm a cop. I have an obligation to imprison you" Bagas replied.

"Please. My imprisonment. But for what crime? Is it only with your testimony that they will all listen to you? Do you think Aji will listen to you after everything you've done to his wife? Aji is not stupid like you. He's wily. That's why you can be so different from him," Zahra said provokingly.

That's what Zahra said. Bagas was obsessed with defeating Aji in the academy. But he had no ill intentions and never even used such an unworthy manner as Zahra had already done.

"Whatever. I surrendered. I'll never come back to you again. After making sure you get your punishment, I'll get out of the force" Bagas said before leaving Zahra in an emotional state. He even threw the scissors in his right hand towards Bagas. Luckily Bagas was quick to close the door first so the scissors would not stick on his body or head.
