Tama And Ratna

Tama And Ratna
85. Welcome to Aksara

The more night Ratna panicked and the more unconditioned. He could not sleep over night because of the contractions that kept bothering him. Tama secretly consulted how she could at least ease the burden of Ratna's mind. The doctor said Ratna's progress was slow because she continued to experience panic and stress so the doctor advised Tama to take Ratna for a walk in the hospital garden to get fresh air or buy whatever food she wanted.

Tama is not just taking Ratna to the hospital park, she has already bought warm brown bread that is always sold in the minimarket in front of the hospital. Tama also bought a glass of warm tea for Ratna which she put in a small flask with a picture of a dolphin that Mama brought earlier. Ratna is seen eating bread while being fed by Tama. Every now and then he did feel pain, and when the pain appeared he would hold Tama's hand so tightly.

"Dec, it hurts?" ask Tama.

"Sorry, is it sick?" Ratna asked back while stroking her husband's slightly flushed arm.

"No papa. Here, still sick? Want to hold your hand again?" tawar Tama but is joined by Ratna.

"Mas, I'm gonna talk to you."

"What?"

"If later the process is not smooth and I surrender in the middle of the road...,"

"Daddy, why are you pessimistic. Don't tell me rich is that. I'm scared, seriously," prevent Tama.

"Dengerin first."

"If I'm not strong and want to give up later, I should be able to handle me. I have to force you to survive. I can't fight alone. I promise you there will be the same as I continue?" the word Ratna is taken by Tama.

"Later if I shout Mas don't go," he said again.

"Dear, I'm not going to go. Strong is not strong It will be beside you."

"It hurts again?" tama asked as Ratna, who was sitting in front of him, lowered her head and again grabbed Tama's hand with her two tiny hands.

"If it hurts so much we go back, yes" Tama said again.

"Later ah. Keep on sleeping in the room,"

"It's not asphyxiation anymore, is it?" ask Tama.

"Not too tight, usually. But my mind is floating. It's hard not to think strangely" complained Ratna.

Tama stroked Ratna's stomach which felt more rigid than last night. Tama fixed the jacket that enveloped his wife's body and rubbed her hands together to warm Ratna's cold cheeks. When Ratna felt the contractions in her stomach and tightened her grip on Tama again, she stroked Ratna's head and then kissed her forehead full of affection.

"Back back Deck, you rest, sleep. Your struggle is long" said Tama.

Ratna said, after the contraction had finished just now, she got up on her feet. Tama patiently pushed Ratna back into her room, down the hospital hallway. Because Ratna's nursery is on the 3rd floor, inevitably they use the elevator. In the elevator there are only the two of them actually, but when the door gets closed there is someone pressing the button to make the door open again. Ratna had not been dizzy, but after knowing who hit the bell she immediately cornered herself.

Tama panicked to see Ratna like a frightened person. The elevator door was already closed making Tama unable to drive away the person who made Ratna rakut. He was only able to stand in front of Ratna and dispel his wife's gaze.

"Sorry, can you shift? I had to take my wife down" Tama said as the elevator reached the 3rd floor.

"I'm also down on this floor" he replied ahead of Tama and Ratna getting off the elevator.

Ratna still continues to wonder why the man could be in the hospital even though Dipta said his wife had given birth 3 weeks before Ratna.

"That's nothing to think about. Just the same focus here. It's right next to you so you don't have to be afraid" Tama replied trying to calm his wife down.

"Why Tam?"

"That's Mom, there was Ratna's ex-boyfriend first. His wife was kind of weird, once encouraged Ratna too," Tama said.

"Are you still feeling the same way he did until his wife was so rich?"

"Ma, don't start" Tama said.

"There is no Ma, there is no oath" said Ratna who immediately felt pressure.

"If you don't have a feeling why his wife could be so rich? There must be a reason for that."

"Mama. I told you to stop!" tama said without intentionally shouting.

Ratna's stomach instantly churned making her pain multiply. Ratna re-spawned Tama's arm making Tama immediately neutralize the feeling of her heart. Tama asked Mama to come out for a while because suddenly Ratna moaned so hard. Tama also called the doctor to come and the doctor said Ratna should give birth right now. After being examined, Ratna was immediately transferred to the delivery room and continued to be there with several tools attached to her body.

"The lapse is crying," Tama said with a feeling of guilt.

Ratna did not respond. Tama's hands continued to cupped Ratna's face and wipe away any tears that escaped from her eyes. Several times Tama kissed Ratna's forehead, as well as her lips, turning to her eyes. Everything he did to see Ratna was fine. Doctors warned Ratna's stress levels were high so her condition weakened.

"Mas..," said Ratna in a soft voice.

"Why baby?"

"My oxygen is not strong" he lamented.

"Mother, the oxygen is already high. The doctor did not dare to level up again. Set his breath slowly. Could. Calm your heart, Istighfar Mother. Believe me, everything will be fine" Tama said as she stroked Ratna's head and helped her catch her breath.

For about 2 hours they fought together. Ratna began to roar in pain as she felt something coming out from between her legs. Tama faithfully always held Ratna, her hand continued to hold Ratna's hand and there was no intention to leave her. He watched firsthand, as hard as Ratna tried to push out her son. How hard Ratna was trying to meet with Aksara.

The doctor continues to encourage him, as well as Tama. Her tears were already unstoppable again when Ratna several times wanted to give up and stop pushing. Tama was forced to force Ratna. For the first time since the two knew each other, this was the first time Tama had forced her will on the wife.

"Mas, I'm not strong" said Ratna, who had run out of steam.

"No. You can Mother. You're powerful. You must be strong. I don't want to know you have to be strong" Tama said, trying to strengthen Ratna.

Once again Ratna pushed. This time he was not alone, he felt Tama helping him until finally Ratna felt if the Aksara was perfect coming out of her stomach. Ratna immediately cried when she heard her son's cry that was still filled with blood. The script was placed on top of her embrace, while Tama grabbed the scissors given by the doctor to cut her son's umbilical cord.

After together making sure Aksara is physically perfect, she is taken in by the nurse to be bathed. Ratna is being treated by a team of doctors while Tama steps out to inform Mama who is waiting in front of the maternity room. Father and Mother have also been there for some time and are happy with the presence of new members in their extended family. Tears just spilled, Father, Mother, and Mama took turns hugging and congratulating Tama who was still crying happily.

Soon Tama was called back in, for the first time holding Aksara in her arms. Carrying his son whom he had long craved for his presence. Tama with a steady voice echoed the Adhan right on the right ear of the son. At first Aksa was still crying but as soon as she heard her father's voice her crying gradually stopped and she went back to sleep quietly.

"Mother, thank you for sticking around for me and for Aksa" said Tama, who can only look at Tama, who looks so cautious as she holds her son.
