Sweetest Nightmare's

Sweetest Nightmare's
Ex but Possessive

"Hows it? Can you find him?" Jane asked someone who was now an interlocutor, voicing curiosity that had already erupted in the niche.

The beautiful girl was currently inside her study. Sitting casually on the edge of the table while conversing with someone through a voice call connection.

There was a man on the other side who was breathing rough. "Sorry Miss. We haven't found what Miss is looking for."

Jane rolled her eyes lazily while combing her long black mane back with her plump fingers. The look on the girl's face was so sour and angry. "Don't stop. I need that evidence as soon as possible."

"None Miss. I'll try to find the person who has the video that Miss intended to get."

Exhaling violently, Jane closed her eyes for a while. "alright. I see, you're gonna need a lot of time to find the guy who owns the video. Did you get any additional info from the previous cafe owner?"

"The cafe owner that Miss meant, the cafe owner who ran the cafe twenty years ago?"

"Hm. Did you get anything from him?"

"He's very old now Miss. It is simply impossible for us to force him to remember what happened twenty years ago in the cafe."

Jane took a rough breath for the umpteenth time. "alright. Keep trying. I'm sure, the guy who owns the video, still keeps it."

"None right."

Jane closes the call when someone she calls completes the answer.

The girl put her phone to the surface of the table, giving a glance after it, until her shade netra managed to lock an old picture frame neatly plastered on her desk.

Grabbing the frame, Jane bowed. He stared at the picture frame containing a portrait of himself as a child with his father and mother smiling, with a sad look full of longing.

Smiling softly, Jane's flickering fingers touch the flat surface of the photo in the grip. "I miss you, Dad, Mom."

Tears instantly condensed in the girl's eye patch. "Mother ..." Her tears just broke, as one perfect call for her unsung hero escaped the gap between her thin lips.

Jane's thin lips that had been trembling due to her cries slowly stretched out, reviewing a soft smile. "I'll give you justice." He chuckles bitterly at a glance. "I'm sorry, because I took so long."

"Feli! Are you feeling much better?" Jay asked as he was about to enter the meeting room and cross paths with Feli in the doorway.

Feli smiled knot at a glance. "Much better."

Jay looked at Feli with a sad look, looking at the look on his best friend's beautiful face, trying to guess and read what he was currently feeling.

However, Jay could not find the right expression to describe what kind of emotions were emanating from Feli's shady eyes.

The girl is getting better at the show. Because used to it, his shady eyes now can no longer be read. I don't see any emotion there.

Jay finally gave up. He was breathing rough. "Did Hayden come after you?"

Feli nodded faintly while smiling bitterly at a glance. "Hmm."

"What did he say?"

The beautiful girl chuckled. "Nothing." He turned towards the doorway of the meeting room that was still open, at a glance. "We'd better get in."

Lifting his gaze, Feli looked around, timidly, someone noticed him talking to Jay, before he focused his attention on his best friend and boss who was still looking at him with a sad look. "Before the other employees come."

Jay took a breath while tidying up his work coat a little. "I thought so."

Jay and Feli finally entered the meeting room, greeted by several people who had been waiting there.

"Feli!" Anna screeched, calling Feli while waving her hand.

Feli, who heard the voice of his beautiful friend, darted into the dim, turned his head, and smiled and walked over to Anna.

"Hey." Feli said while sitting himself, right next to the chair Anna was sitting in.

Instantly, Feli focused all his attention on the file he had been carrying, making Anna snort violently while shaking in disbelief.

"How was your meeting with Jay this morning? What did he ask?"

Feli rolled his eyes panted before finally turning his head towards Anna and looking at the girl with a sharp look. "Do I have to tell you? Even though I know, you already know the answer?"

Anna turned her face a glance. "It doesn't seem to." He ended his words with a sweet smile, making Feli cluck softly.

Instantly Feli was stunned. He looked at Anna with fleshy eyes, while Anna grinned with satisfaction as she looked at Feli's shocked expression.

"You seen him?"

Anna nodded faintly. "Hm. I saw Hayden out of there before you." Anna's forehead frowned, along with one of her eyebrows swooping down. His eyes squinted slightly, looking at Feli, full of suspicion. "He looks upset. What the hell's been going on? Did Hayden go back to asking about what happened two years ago?"

Feli breathed a sigh of relief while straightening his gaze. "No."

Anna slowly elbowed Feli's arm. "You must be lying."

Feli chuckled at a glance, dismissive. "No."

"Pembo-" "Alright. Let's start the meeting this afternoon." Anna did not have time to finish the words, because Jay had raised his voice, ready to start the meeting at this time.

Feli smiled happily as he turned towards Anna at a glance and saw how upset the expression was drawn on the girl's face.

"You owe me an explanation."

"JANESSA JORDAN KENNELY!"

Jane, who was busy at that time with her work, was a little stunned, when she heard the door of her room open with a loud slamming sound, accompanied by Hayden's screams that sounded full of anger.

A middle-aged man quickly approached Jane and stood in front of the girl's desk. He bowed half his body at a glance. "Sorry Miss. I tried to prevent it."

Looking towards Hayden who was still standing in the doorway, Jane's shady netra clashed with the handsome male netra who was already staring at her with a sharp, full of anger.

Exhaling roughly, he turned his head towards the middle-aged man who was still standing with a downcast look in front of his desk. "It's okay, Hans. Let him in."

The middle-aged man called Mr. Hans also nodded in understanding. "None right."

Mr. Hans left Jane's room immediately. He let Hayden in respectfully before closing the door.

Jane snorted coldly as she stood up from her seat. He walked to his desk and sat on the edge of the table.

He crossed both arms in his chest. His eyes were fixed on Hayden who was now standing right in front of him. "Hayden Brent Wilson."

Jane's forehead frowned, along with her slightly squinting eyes, looking at Hayden in astonishment. "Aren't you supposed to be in your sister's office right now, Jay? Attend an important meeting?"

Hayden slowly walked closer towards Jane, eroding the distance that only stretched about a meter in front of her.

His sharp gaze, not a second he diverted from the figure of Jane who now suddenly looks so nervous.

"You!" Haydenn clasped his palms on the surface of the table, right on either side of Jane's body as a support.

Seeing Hayden so angry, Jane gulped her rough saliva with great difficulty when nervousness managed to brace her niche, because the distance between herself and Hayden was so close. His movements were locked by Hayden's body.

"What are you doing?" Jane asked as she pushed the chest of Hayden's field, making Hayden take a few steps back, spacing out. The girl moved from her seat quickly.

Hayde grinned in horror, meaningfully. "How dare you!" He grabbed Jane's wrist and held her very tightly.

"Hayden." Jane grimaced, trying to escape Hayden's grasp by stomping his hand.

However, the harder he tried to escape, the harder Hayden clasped his wrist, making the girl's face frown, enduring the pain.

"How dare you hurt Feli!" Anger and inaction were clearly heard from how Hayden spoke.

Throwing Jane's hand in such a rough motion, Hayden staggered the girl's body.

Jane chuckles cynically, in disbelief. "So you came here and acted like this, just because of Feli?"

Jane looked at Hayden with a sharp gaze dominated by disappointment. While Hayden, he stared back at her with a sharp look that looked so sinister.

Smiling softly, Jane lowered her gaze, at a glance. "Didn't you approve of the wedding plans I offered because you wanted to hurt Feli? You want to avenge your heartache on him?" He chuckles cynically, belittling. "Then what is this? Do you still love Feli?"

The corner of Hayden's left lip swooped sharply, commenting on the grin that seemed so cruel, for a moment. "What you said is true. I agreed to your plan because I wanted to hurt Feli."

Hayden looked at Jane with a sharp, angry gaze ready to slash, supported by the aura of his face that looked dark and cold, intimidating. "But only I can hurt him. And if you dare once again land your hands even your fingertips to touch Feli, I will not hesitate to finish you off with my own hands!"
