Hugs from Her Ex-Sister

Feli is still busy with his work computer. His whole attention is directed at work. Not because she is a workcaholic girl or something, but, busy herself at work or things she likes, is a way to try to forget the problems she faces.

"Feli!" Anna called out, calling her best friend and co-worker in a soft voice.

Feli immediately looked up, looking at Anna who was now standing in front of her desk.

Anna gulped her saliva with great difficulty as soon as her hazel bead and Feli managed to cross eyes.

Feli's forehead frowned, along with his slightly squinting eyes, looking at Anna in astonishment. "What?"

Anna smiled awkwardly, trying to hide her nervousness. "Jay called. He asked me to tell you to meet him in his room."

One of Feli's eyebrows swooped. He looked at Anna with a look that would be suspicious. "Why does Jay want to see me?" he asked, astonished, then gave a rough breath. "You told Jay that I got to the office early?"

Anna chuckled nervously at a glance. "I'm sorry. I have no other choice."

Then Anna just left Feli after finishing her words.

Feli shook his head in disbelief, as well as disappointed, for feeling betrayed by Anna. Although in reality she knew, Anna told Jay, because the beautiful girl was currently worried about her.

That's Anna. If she can't persuade Feli to raise his voice over the issue, Anna will ask Jay for help as her best friend and Feli.

Anna may have failed to persuade Feli and could not show his support for his close friend directly, because Anna, is not a girl who is good at showing expression and concern for others.

Jay took a rough breath while confirming his sitting position. "Isn't it rude to talk to your boss without seeing his face?"

Feli gulped his saliva with difficulty before finally raising his eyes, making his hazel bead collide with the blind Jay who was already staring at him with a soft and warm gaze.

The girl crumpled up the wrath of the skirt she was wearing, trying to hide the nervousness that had encased her niche.

Jay snorted mid-range while bowing a glance. He got up from his seat quickly and walked over to Feli.

Without further ado and asking, Jay immediately grabbed Feli's small body into his comfortable embrace.

Of course, Jay's sudden action, made Feli very surprised. The entire joint in his body stiffened. His little eyes were patterned, perfectly rounded.

Jay gently rubbed Feli's back, trying to give Feli comfort and calmness.

"hey-hey! Wh-what are you doing?" Feli asked with a little stammering as he put his palms on Jay's chest, pushing the man's body slowly, hoping he slipped out of his arms.

However, Jay actually tightened his embrace on Feli's body, making Feli no longer know what to do.

"W-what if someone sees? Y-you could get in trouble, Jayden."

Jay crept softly onto Feli's shoulder as he tightened his embrace. "I don't care."

Feli tried to break away once again, although he knew, his efforts were nothing. "But I care. Release Jay! What's the matter with you, actually? Suddenly hugging me like this?"

Jay slapped his face on Feli's shoulder. "I know you're in trouble. You won't tell me, even if I ask. So, let me give you a hug, so you can stay strong through everything."

Feli chuckled softly at a glance. "You don't have to do this. I'm fine."

Although the little mouth of the girl said that she was fine, in fact, tears instantly condensed in her mouth when she heard Jay's words.

"Liar! Who do you think you're trying to lie to here? Ha?" Jay said while releasing his embrace and make his body and Feli a little distance away, so that he could see the beautiful face of his best friend.

"Hey." Jay raised his voice, breaking the silence with his sweet voice. He slowly touched Feli's chin, making the girl look up.

Jay's pupils trembled, staring at Feli's tear-soaked face for the first time in two years.

Feli chuckled bitterly at a glance while nodding his head. "Thank you."

Jay's thin lips stretched out, commenting on a happy smile. He let out a rough breath while closing his eyes for a while, before looking at Feli who was still loyal with his cry.

"Don't be alone. You make everyone who loves you anxious. Terma-" "Ah!"

Feli groaned in pain as Jay gently rubbed his face, making Jay undo the intention to finish his words and actions to wipe away Feli's tears.

Jay's eyes fiddled, when he saw Feli holding one side of his face. "What's going on? Are you hurt?"

Jay's anxious. He clasped Feli's shoulder and took a careful look at the girl in front of him.

"T-no. I-I-it's okay," said Feli stuttered while avoiding eye contact with Jay.

"You lied again." Jay said in a slightly raised voice, because he could not resist the feeling of emotion as well as his disappointment towards Feli.

Feli was speechless with his head bowed, making Jay throw a rough breath. "Did someone hurt you?"

Feli shook his head faintly, taking a slow step back, distancing himself from Jay.

"I have to get back to work" Feli said as he quickly stepped up, intending to leave, leaving Jay frustrated.

"Mr Ja-" A man stops his speech and steps as soon as he enters Jay's room.

Not only the words and steps of the man were stopped, but the same was the case with the steps of Feli who almost reached the door.

The man's eyes patterned when he faced the reddened and teary Netra Feli.

Jay looked at the figure of Feli and the man who was nailing where they stood with a look of surprise. "Ha-Hayden, what are you doing here?"

Feli. He quickly took his eyes off Hayden, then went past him and out of Jay's room as quickly as he could.

Hayden looked towards Jay. "W-W-is she crying?"

Jay remained silent. And silent sister, Hayden considered as the answer to a simple question.

"Hayden! Where are you going?" Jay screeched, as he saw Hayden turning his body towards the door and preparing to step.

Hayden looked towards Jay. "Feli. I want to catch up with him."

"For what?"

"Ask something."

"What's? The truth about his betrayal two years ago?" Jay spoke lightly, as if mocking.

Hayden looked at Jay with a sharp gaze, along with both of his clenched palms, restraining anger.

Jay's words are true. Hayden intended to inquire about Feli's actions, which managed to scratch the deepest wound in his recess, two years ago.

However, no one knows, that when Hayden felt Feli betray him and let his heart hurt, it was Feli who was the most hurt and suffering, because Feli was forced to let go of the only greatest happiness in his life at that time, namely Hayden.

Hayden believed that this was the right time, because for the first time, Feli showed what he was feeling to others openly.

Jay chuckles cynically at a glance, dismissive. "Forget that. What's the point of you finding out the truth now? Aren't you going to marry Feli's sister?" Jay took a rough breath. "There's no point in you trying to mend your relationship with Feli right now, because you've hurt him, more deeply."
