SURVIVORS

SURVIVORS
Chaptre 320. The Fate of the Phoenix Bird

It was past three full moons they settled on the island. Waiting for all supplies to be harvested. Like the previous times. During that time, they made preparations. Making cooking oil, smoking catch fish, storing vegetable stocks every harvest, and collecting bird eggs are increasingly found among the mangrove forest.

That afternoon, Dr. Chandra walked through a patch of yellowed wheat fields. He was accompanied by Dean and Sunil.

"Tomorrow or the day after, this can already be harvested. Then dry it well. We've got to find another worm hole path" he said.

"Okay" replied Dean.

The order was immediately spread. And the other team members immediately harvested what could be harvested that day. Eggplant, chili, tomatoes will be picked that day entirely. Then put in storage that they had prepared the previous days.

During the break, the discussion reopened.

"We'll start the search for worm holes or teleportation. But no one knows where. This trip may be long and difficult. More than that, there is no certainty. We will arrive at the right place later. We may be thrown into a place far worse than this. So, anyone who wants to settle here, then no one will force."

Dean allowed the others to come up with an opinion.

"Don't living here mean we're alone?" asked Indra ventured to ask.

"If anyone wants to stay, the land here can already support. But if you want a friend, we'll take you to Leon's. The land there was enough to be well developed by the three families." Dean made a choice.

"Do you want to stay?" ask Niken not to believe it.

"Don't you feel tired? I'm just worried about you" Indra replied.

"No! I want to go home!" firmly Niken.

"OK," Indra nodded.

"Is there another opinion?"

Dean gave me another chance. But for a long time, no one commented.

"alright. Then everyone's on their next trip, huh?" Dean wants to make sure

Everyone nodded in agreement. Dean gave his thumbs up with a happy smile.

For the next week, their job was to harvest, then to dry the wheat. Then collect shrimp, shellfish and others to be stored as supplies. Alan also plucked the entire young coconut fruit and kept it.

Doctor Chandra spoke up tonight, after dinner.

"This is our last day here. It's been over three months, with no idea what's going on in the land. But don't think about it anymore. It must have spread to many countries. So, we can only fly. Then look for an uninhabited island as a resting place."

"Good." They nodded obediently.

"Which direction are we looking?" ask Alan.

"don't know. If you have any advice, say," replied Dr. Chandra.

The others are silent. They also have no idea where to look. Does that mean they have to explore the whole earth?

"Don't think about it again. We'll find him at the right time" said Chandra sage.

After that dead-end discussion, they took a break. But still it raged in each other's minds. Where is the direction you want to go? No one knows where the inter-dimensional gate is. There is also no place to ask. However, all of that must be lived, if it really wants to go home.

The morning after breakfast, the team was ready to leave. Everything is done, and there is a way. But the heart feels heavy leaving a beautiful island that has been a shelter for so long.

A beautiful island ...."

Alan looked at the fertile island in the middle of the ocean.

"Have you ever read a legend about a Phoenix?" Sunil patted Alan on the shoulder.

"What comes back from the ashes?" Alan asked back.

"That means life cycle. After one death, a new life will grow. God's hand plays in this world. If there is damage, nature will fix it. Then start the life cycle from the beginning again," said Sunil sage.

"And this island and the island of Buwan, may be the deciding points of the next life." Robert is optimistic too.

"alright. I've understood." Alan smiled faintly. "Nothing is in vain. All must be of His will."

"Come on!" alan said with a light feeling.

The five people flew in the morning sky. Darting to find a way, uncover all mysteries and meet hope.

The sun smiled shyly

In the sky, the fat cloud was wearing its gray robe

Expand the best clouds to the horizon

Ready to deliver the rain god to meet his beloved lover

Beautiful and beautiful earth

Waiting for the shower of love, eternal lover

Giving birth to new life

Which invites smiles of laughter and admiration

But the love of the universe is immeasurable

Love without the limits of the womb of the earth

Throw out all wounds

And continue to live without asking

"Dean, everywhere the sky is dark. Don't we need to find a place to rest first?" ask Sunil.

"But we haven't seen any remote islands along this path. Let's search!"

Dean was worried too. If it's just raining, they're no problem. The dangerous thing is if the rain contains lightning. The incident that befell Sunil has become his own scourge for him. He doesn't want anyone to get fucked.

The thunderous sounds began to sound. The picture is starting to show in many places.

"Lord, what if we go down and rest first?" robert's advice.

"I'm going to protect us all from the virus" Alan said.

Doctor Chandra looked at Alan deeply. In his eyes was a trace of deep sadness.

He touched both of Alan's shoulders with a proud look. His eyes glistened as brilliant as jewels.

"thank you. You're so proud of me."

"Ruler ...."

Doctor Chandra hugged Alan warmly like a father.

Dean, Sunil and Robert don't understand what's going on.

"Let's find a place to rest" said Dr. Chandra.

The fifth immediately flew low and found a place that was far from where humans lived.

"That!" point Robert towards a barren hill.

"Come on!"

Doctor Chandra darted first and looked around.

"Perfect," he muttered almost inaudibly.

Dean pulled out a stone to sit down. Just as the raindrops begin to fall, Alan opens a red dome to protect everything from wetness. Doctor Chandra immediately sat down next to Alan. Assisted so that Alan can drink a glass of perennial water before focusing.

Outside the dome, the sky is dark. It rained down hard. And the flash of lightning, the snatch of deafening. Inside the dome everyone was not calm. I don't know what, they were so worried. There was a strange feeling that was hard for them to understand.

"How long is it raining like this?" chirps Sunil. "Black sky evenly. And lightning is thundering, like wanting to punish a human being."

"Hush!" reproach Dean.

He was uncomfortable hearing that expression. I don't know why.

Next to Alan, Dr. Chandra just sat down. Eyes closed. No one knows, he's sleeping or praying.

Then the lightning returned to forestry again. This time more. And the lightning strikes began to approach them.

"Oh my God, we're at the top of the hill. We're an easy target this way!" Sunil.

Robert's face paled. He was the one who had suggested this place, because it was far from everywhere. But now ...."

"Alan, we better move to la— place"

Blaaarrr!

The sound of lightning was blaring right above them. Alan's body vibrated receiving an electric current. Eyes open. Smile develops. But he still spread out both his hands to keep the dome intact.

"Alane! Forget us. We gotta get out of here. Open dome!' sunil shouted in panic.

Back the lightning tongue struck the red dome, and Alan with his smile challenged the lightning to keep coming at him.

Dean doesn't know what to do. He could only water the body of Alan who started to scorch here and there, with immortal water.

"Ruler ...."

Sunil expects the Ruler to help Alan.

Doctor Chandra raised his head. His face was full of tears. Sunil and Robert were surprised to see her.

"His destiny has arrived ...."
