SURVIVORS
Chapters 170. About Robert 1

While climbing the cliff in the crack, Robert did not realize that he had crossed the other world's boundary.

He continued to climb up to the top of the cliff. But he was surprised when he got up above. An arrow shot straight towards him. A strong intuition saved his life back then. Robert dodged and immediately turned around wanting to go back down to the cliff wall. But the wall that had just been up to him had vanished without a trace.

There was a loud scream that he did not understand.

A sharp sword was pointed at his neck. It was then that Robert realized, that he had crossed the borders of the other world.

He glanced at the situation around with his eyes tails. Although it had repeatedly crossed the borders of another world, but that shocked expression still could not be lost. No wonder there was an arrow when he reached the surface. Because Robert appeared right in the middle of the archery practice arena.

Everyone there was surprised. They saw with their own eyes how a person with foreign clothes emerged from the void. The uniformed officer instantly unsheathed a sword to restrain him.

Robert was bent and could only obey. How am I supposed to be here? What about Liam and Liam? His mind was confused, but he could do nothing. All the strangers surrounded him. The oriental faces surprised him.

'What nation are they? The chinese? The korean? Japanese or Mongolian?' his inner. Robert is difficult to distinguish these nations because they have similar eye characteristics.

Someone spoke rudely while pushing him to the ground.

"I'm Robert. I come from another world. I crossed space and time. I accidentally interrupted your training!" Robert tried to explain.

The officer who pushed him was stunned. But a voice made him instantly drag Robert away from there. Two bodyguards holding spears followed from behind.

Robert passed through several unique and beautiful buildings, typical of Asia. 'What country is this? What year?' Robert kept wondering in his heart.

Finally Robert arrived at a building with two guards standing at its entrance. The officer holding Robert's hand spoke for a moment. Then the heavy and large wooden door opened. Robert was pulled in to come inside.

They passed next to the front building. Many officers in uniform then walked. Finally Robert understood what the place was, after seeing the spaces with wooden bars at the back of the building. This is the holding room.

Robert was taken to one of the empty prison rooms. He was just thrown in jail.

"Hey, this is not how the law works. You need to hear my defense before holding me back." Robert's protest was upset. But the officer didn't care. Robert was left alone after the door was locked.

"Ah, stop. I'll just rest." Robert looked at the haystack in the corner of the room. He then sat there

The detention room here is limited to trellises. All the inhabitants can see each other. But no one is reprimanding each other. Everyone is silent on their own issues.

Robert was hungry. I don't know what time it is. But it seems that the prisoners have not been fed. Robert finally chose to lay down his body. He was sure his sudden presence would get him interrogated later. So just wait.

Robert woke up when he heard the door of his room open. It seems like it's getting dark. Some lighting on the wall was already lit. Someone came in and put 2 bowls near the door. The man came out and walked into another cell and did the same thing. Robert's cell door has been re-locked by the guards.

Robert's awake. He wanted to see what was put down.

'Porridge and water' he thought.

Robert looked towards the prisoner in the other cell. They took out a bowl of porridge and finished the contents quickly. Robert did the same. He's already very hungry. Getting a bowl of porridge and drinking water is a good thing.

Immediately the two bowls in front of him were empty as well. Then he went back to where he was lying. The pain and heat in his stomach had begun to subside. Robert chose to sit on the wall. Don't know what to do.

This night in prison is not passed quietly. Some prisoners were taken and returned. Robert observed. They went and were pulled back in the boat. A groaning sound was heard from some cells.

'Are the officers here too busy during the day until the examination is carried out at night?' thought Robert.

But until Robert overslept again, he didn't even get his turn checked.

Then he heard the sound of straw crackles from the cell next to him. Robert noticed the man walking limped, pacing around in his cramped room. His face was dirty, with an irregular beard and mustache. But Robert could see that behind the chaos, the man's face was good.

The man took off his clothes, tearing them with a firm movement. As if I had made a decision. Robert was suspicious. Robert stepped near the bars that bound their place.

"Hey, can I ask you something?"

Robert's voice distracted him for a moment. Just momentary. The man ripped his dirty shirt back. But Robert could see that it was made of good materials.

"What country is this? Chinese, Korean or Japanese?" ask Robert Again.

The man frowned because he was disturbed. He looked at Robert with displeasure.

"Do you know what year it is?" ask Robert again.

The man turned his back on Robert because he was very disturbed. Robert also had no other idea to break the man's concentration.

When Robert saw the torn clothes were tied to a rope, Robert immediately worried.

"Are you that desperate to kill yourself? Is it your fault to be punished like this?" Robert rebuked him again.

But the man flinched. He's still busy tying up a rope.

"Hey, I'm talking to you. Don't be so disrespectful. If anyone's talking to you, you should see it." Robert's tone of voice began to rise. He wanted to attract the attention of the guards to come and check.

The man turned around and glared furiously. He walked over to Robert. I don't know what the pressure is, Robert can't move away. The man's hands stretched out and grabbed Robert's neck.

'The power is strong. I'm sure with a single jolt, my neck could be broken by it' Robert's inner self.

With great difficulty because his airway was blocked, Robert cupped his two hands to his chest to apologize (🙏). He just remembered it was the Indonesian way of emphasizing the intent of apology. This was learned during a vacation in Indonesia.

The man stretched out his grip, then released Robert by pushing him away from the separation bars. His sight was threatening.

Robert was grateful not to die. Robert felt awkward. People who are that strong may be desperate and want to commit suicide.

"Is he...?" Robert was surprised because his prejudice this time seemed to be right.

"Hey, you want to run away? Can I come with you? Let me come with you."

Robert was low-voiced, afraid of sounding guards. With a gesture, Robert tried to convey that he also wanted to get out of the place.

The man was still furious, he noticed the sign language Robert had made. Whether he understood or not, but he shook his head.

"You shook your head because you didn't want me to come. Or because I don't understand what I mean?" ask Robert again.

The man looked up at the prison hallway. He moved quickly back to the haystack and pretended to be asleep. All the cloth rope he made earlier was already invisible.

Robert also pretended to sleep leaning against the wooden bars. The guard turned out to be just going around to check. After reaching the end of the prison, he walked back towards the front door. There was no sound of the conversation of the guards sitting at the table near the entrance. Then the place went back to quiet.

Robert, who had not heard even a single wind, was astonished. His eyes suddenly became heavy. But still had time to look towards the man next door.

"Take me away" said Robert softly with outstretched arms.

His eyes that began to blur saw the wall that had previously been a collapsed backrest. The man jumped out and disappeared. Then it's all dark.
