SURVIVORS
230 Chapter. Silvia and Mustafa

It had been more than 2 months that Silvia took care of Mustafa's daughter, Yasmeen. His life was filled with color and affection from the little girl. Mustafa also paid special attention to him.

Silvia taught both of them many new things. Not just writing, reading and counting. But also about the universe. About the earth, the moon, the sun, the stars and all the planets.

With Mustafa, Silvia was often invited to discuss business. Not only a neat bookkeeping procedure, but Silvia also provides input into new business ways. Like franchising or opening a restaurant, to business delivery of mail and goods from city to city. Silvia's ideas were greatly appreciated by Mustafa.

For Mustafa, Silvia is not only his daughter's nanny, but also his business advisor. That is why Silvia was overwhelmed with sufficiency in the residence. He was considered part of that family.

At the residence, Silvia had her own courtyard. The room is not in the same building as the big house. There he was free to experiment with anything to train Yasmeen.

The originally empty and arid courtyard was now filled with small plants in clay pots. It was the result of Silvia and Yasmeen's experiments. They originally made compost from kitchen waste. Then ask a variety of grains and clay pots on Mustafa.

Mustafa saw for himself his daughter was very enthusiastic about sowing seeds. Then cheered happily when he saw a tiny green bud coming out from the ground. He watered it diligently morning and evening. Yasmeen could not wait for the harvest. Especially for watermelon plants that spread in Silvia's room.

Mustafa realized Silvia's advantages. Not only enliven the house with useful activities, but also make the business more focused with neat bookkeeping. He started to record a lot of things. And since others did not understand the future writings, the record was safe from the secret thief.

Mustafa visited Silvia's residence that afternoon. Both of them sat on a bench laid out in the courtyard. Watch Yasmeen water the plants aided by Omaar and Kareem.

"I'll be gone for 3 weeks. Stay home, don't go anywhere" Mustafa said.

"Hemmm. But, can you find out about my friends who may be stranded elsewhere?" asked Silvia expectantly.

Mustafa nodded.

"I've asked my people to pay attention to such news. If there is, then they will report immediately."

"Thank you" Silvia said.

It's been a couple of months. No news of anything else. Silvia's hopes began to thin. Could it be that no one survived but him? He kept those negative thoughts out of his head. But as time passed, that hope indeed began to fade.

"It's for your supplies as long as I'm gone."

Mustafa pointed at the box that was on the table. Silvia opened the box.

"Dry fruit and nuts?" silvia muttered in wonder. But he didn't ask anything.

"Keep this inside. Children cannot eat it. They have their own" Mustafa said.

"All right...."

Silvia got up and lifted the box into her room. Then sit back on the terrace.

"I've kept it," Silvia said with a smile.

Mustafa nodded, smiling gently and his greenish-grey eyes looked at Silvia intensely. Silvia lowered her head with reddened cheeks in midlife.

"Don't look at me like that." - Silvia said. His heart churned every time he was in a moment like this.

Mustafa sighed and smiled faintly. He likes this girl in front of him. His cheeks always meet red whenever he sees it.

"Have you been married in your world?"

Mustafa asked an unexpected question. It was successful to make Silvia fall from the occupied bench so surprised.

"Oh, sorry.... Your question surprised me."

Silvia got up from the floor. Plumping dust from her skirt. Justify the seat and then return to sit politely.

Silvia's reaction was beyond Mustafa's expectations. He took that as a "yes" answer".

'Is the man named Leon her husband?' mustafa thought he was upset.

"Why are you asking like that?" ask Silvia.

He saw Mustafa speechless after he fell. His reaction was cold and indifferent. If it was anyone else, it would have been laughing out loud seeing people fall off the bench just like that.

"Hey...why are you daydreaming?"

Silvia flicked her finger to disperse Mustafa's daydream.

His tone remained soft, and the question implied attention. But his eyes did not show that. And Silvia realized it.

"What's wrong with you today?" ask Silvia worried.

Mustafa shook his head, then stood up from his seat. The sky is red. The kids had finished playing water in the yard. Mustafa invites them back to the mansion. The kids ran around with excitement.

Before Mustafa reached the end of the terrace, Silvia heard a voice.

"I'm not married" said Silvia.

Mustafa's footsteps stopped in midair. He long stared at the end of his shoe, as if it looked very attractive. But in fact, Mustafa was happy to calm his heart, which seemed to want to jump flying. Then he turned to look at Silvia who was 3 meters away from him.

Mustafa said nothing. But those greenish-grey eyes cast a meaningful gaze. Her delicate thin smile and resolute sword eyebrows, offered a warmth that Silvia was very familiar with.

That's the look of love! Silvia's body trembled. There was a desire in his heart to run into the embrace of the figure of the man he missed. But Mustafa is definitely not Ethan.

Even though he really wanted and did not care about Mustafa or Ethan, but the man was actually married. Silvia is a girl from the modern world, where polygamy is taboo and always rejected by women.

Silvia looked down inside. The water flows without cue.

"What's wrong with me?" his murmurs don't understand.

Silvia turned around to enter the room. His feet tripped over the legs of the table, making him stagger towards the back.

"Akhc!" exclaim Silvia restrained. He's about to fall on the floor.

Grepp's!

A burly hand filled with fine curly hair swiftly hugged him. They eventually fell together.

Mustafa continued to watch over Silvia who was lowered after her statement, seeing the girl turn around and dazed. While he stood too far away to hold back from falling. So, Mustafa's choice was to keep Silvia's body from hitting the hard stone floor.

She hugged the girl tightly. Silvia thrashed when she realized she was in someone's arms.

"Ssttt. It's me" Mustafa whispered right in his ear.

It made Silvia stiff and nervous. The tingling in his ears due to Mustafa's breathing, really made him nervous and anxious. But he's not trying to escape again.

Silvia could feel Mustafa's head on her back. His warm breath warmed Silvia's back. The beating of his heart rhythms was clear. And somehow, Silvia's heart rhythm followed the rhythm she heard.

"I...love you..," Mustafa whispered in a hoarse voice.

He got up from the floor and raised Silvia's tiny body with both hands. Get him into the room. Silvia hugged Mustafa's neck. Shame to see those gray-green eyes. He only looked at the chest of the field in front of him which continued to listen to the beautiful rhythm that was hypnotizing his consciousness.

Mustafa looked at the girl with a pleading glare. Silvia nodded unconsciously. Open her lips and accept it.
