5 — Holiday Plan

Figo waited patiently for Kezia. His mind was still floating on the scene earlier this afternoon. One of his men reported the thing that made Figo was. Kezia raised one eyebrow. "You got a lot of money, Fik. You can go to a nice place to relax." suggested Kezia and took a drink of the mineral water she took for herself.

"Good idea. I can take you and Excelo on vacation."

Kezia slightly choked on Figo's words, then looked at the man in annoyance, "Don't start. Besides I can't go anywhere for a while." Kezia clearly put on a disappointed face. Had the news not been true, Kezia would have been able to vacation with the Leah and Figo families.

"Why?"

Kezia put on a sullen face, "Vernon, he's looking for me. Even though he never investigated where I was. But this time it's different. He's really looking for me."

Kezia shrugged his shoulders and saw Figo suddenly become serious.

Kezia heaved a sigh of relief, "Sure, Fik. I don't want to go back either. If only I could choose I could divorce the man. But to protect Excelo, I chose to run away from home."

Figo rubbed Kezia's shoulder gently, "Smart. I'll monitor the situation. You should be near Leah more often. Don't trust strangers. Understood?"

Kezia nodded and smiled.

"Thank you, Fik. You and Rafael are trying to hide me. I will pray for you guys the best." Kezia gives two thumbs up in front of Figo.

The handsome man chuckled softly then scrambled Kezia's hair furiously. As much as possible Figo tries to make Kezia confident in himself and cover up his true identity by making Rafael a shield.

I don't know how long he'll be able to keep Vernon away from Kezia. And made Kezia his. Because Kezia is the one person who makes Figo's heart warm when he hears a melodious voice while singing ballads.
