36 — Fan Stall

Vernon invites Kezia to dinner at a stall near the house. Actually this is the desire of Kezia and Vernon can not refuse it. After all, they had never had dinner outside like this. "But, ma, why did you buy me the same sister Ann dress? What's the show?" ask Kezia slowly.

"You don't know yet?" Mrs. Lidya raised one of her eyebrows then closed her eyes for a bit. "Oh, mama forgot to tell you, Kez."

"You mean, mama?"

"Ben's gonna be here any minute for Ann to meet us. Ann's pregnant again. Mama also wants to give her a dress, have not seen them for a long time."

"Sister Ann is pregnant again?"

"Yes, the third child." Mrs. Lidya gives a dress to Aunt Mira. "Udah, Mir. I'm gonna take it now."
