21 — Concert Exercises

Mr. Clayton took Vernon to the family home. Vernon still needs the attention of the people around him. There must be people observing Vernon's emotional changes. So that the therapy that Vernon undergoes to bear fruit.

Mrs. Risa who once stared fiercely at Vernon now greeted Vernon with great attention. Mrs. Risa just found out everything from Mr. Clayton's. The problems that exist between Kezia and Vernon's household.

Mrs. Risa shook her head and smiled, "Mama has no right to be angry. The one who should be angry is Kezia, not mama." replied Mrs. Risa's.

Vernon turned his head to distract, "I know, all because I couldn't help myself. But somehow near Kezia I always got out of control. I know what it's like to endure trauma alone. Really pathetic." Vernon felt his chest beating violently.

"Mama probably doesn't know. But I'm sure one day you will be able to eliminate that trauma. Do not keep it constantly. You can share it with others."

"I scared Kezia. He can't possibly come back after what I did."

Mrs. Risa shook her head, "You should give it a try. Kezia's a good man. Mama used to hear him tell me about you."

"Before you're married."

"Yes.he really loves you. Kezia said you're like his idol."

Vernon smelled a smile. "Even he doesn't know that I'm not a good person who should be an idol."

Day after day Vernon and Kezia passed by without any contact with each other. They are still bound to a sacred relationship that they should have lived with full harmony. Kezia plans to hold a concert early in the month which means another week.

All tickets ran out within hours of waiting for Kezia to perform. At Riwijaya's residence, Kezia rehearses to prepare for her concert.

Kezia also invites her son, Excelo, so that the baby is not lonely at home. Although already accustomed to the house, Excelo still attached to the mother.

"Finally.." exhorted Kezia with relief after finishing singing some songs for the concert.

Kezia put the mic on and kissed Excelo's face with anxiety. The baby always crushes if the mother continues to sing and ignore her.

Then Mother Kezia came to bring mineral water and porridge for Exxelo.

Mrs. Lidya takes over Excelo from Kezia's lap and starts feeding Excelo with porridge.

"Rest. Let me play with Excelo. Don't be too tired, dear." said Mrs. Lidya.

Kezia smiled and obeyed his mother's orders. Now he goes to the room to clean himself up and rest for a while after eating.

Suddenly he remembered Vernon. He began to ask - ask, how is the man now? Is he okay? No one here has ever offended Kezia's household with Vernon.

Mr. Riwijaya also never told Kezia about Vernon's condition since the incident. Probably because of Mr. Riwijaya did not want Kezia to be close to Vernon. Husband who made his wife run away because of infidelity. The thought that made Mr. Rivijaya is disappointed with Vernon.

Kezia tried to get rid of everything about Vernon. He must focus on preparing himself for the concert to go smoothly. For a while he did not want Vernon to mess with Kezia's mind and heart. Because Kezia wants to rebuild his long-dead heart.
