9 — Fruit Hand

After Sarah's departure, Vernon contacted one of her eyes. Until not how long there was an e-mail coming in from the eyes - the loyal eyes of Vernon.

Vernon immediately opened it and downloaded some files.

The file opens showing a photo of her child from infancy until now. Vernon opens another file. Then a photo of Kezia smiling and holding Excelo on the porch of Leah's house appeared. This photo was taken remotely. The quality is a little bad.

Vernon's heart warms. Unknowingly a smile was etched on his lips. Vernon is a fool and an idiot for wasting two precious humans in his life. Vernon could only see them from afar. The man was silent installing a very small surveillance camera in some parts of Kezia's house.

What made Vernon unable to meet Kezia at the moment was because of his past mistakes. He doesn't know how Kezia would react if he wanted her back. Kezia's trust wasn't even intact because of Vernon.

Vernon believes the woman will be hysterical and run away again if she is in front of Kezia. Vernon had to be patient and accept the consequences of his actions. Until whenever he has to be able to bring Kezia back. Even though his life is a bet.

On the other hand a beautiful woman was playing the piano and singing some songs. Kezia, the woman did buy a new piano after she ran away. Or rather, this piano he could buy because Figo borrowed it money.

Kezia sang Someone You Loved — Lewis Capaldi. His voice softened until he was not aware that he was being watched by someone. Kezia is so fond of this song.

Kezia suddenly remembered about his marriage to Vernon. As long as she was married to that man, only Kezia loved and was always ignored. Kezia sometimes thinks that divorce is not a good thing. Divorce has left her with a great deal of guilt. His son is still a child and needs the love of his parents.

But it's bad because Vernon never wanted Kezia. Which means you don't want Excelo either. So, Kezia tries to find another way to rebuild his future and be free from Vernon. He did not want the man to take Excelo even though Kezia was a little unsure about it.

"Leahs? Raphael?" kezia said and got up to approach the two of them.

So they saw Kezia earlier? Kezia could hear the door open.

"You're very appreciative, Kez. I couldn't bear to enjoy your voice and decipher the song" Leah said, breaking free from Rafael's embrace.

Kezia just smiled a little. "What are you guys doing here?" ask Kezia.

"Actually we want to take you out of town for a vacation together. Do you have time, Kez?" ask Rafael.

Kezia bent his forehead, "Out of town?" tweet slowly.

"Yes, just calm down. Not the capital you used to live in."

Kezia heaved a sigh of relief then displayed a smile back. "alright. I'm going to come along. But before that I want to give you something. Wait a minute, wait here." Kezia turned around and stepped towards the room then returned with a pack of food and some handicrafts.

"It's by - by me and Figo. We visited the tour and I bought this for you." Kezia reached out and received Leah.

"Why did you bother - bot—"

"You always give me a lot of things. I want to get back at him." cut Kezia down quickly.

Leah just chuckled amusedly then smiled ignorantly.

"Thank you, Kez. We're going home. Soon there are clients who want to see me." said Rafael then responded Kezia with a nod.

"Get yourself, Kez. I'll be here again in the afternoon. Hye!" Leah and Rafael exit Kezia's house and close the door again.

Kezia only looked at the two of them with a smile and a hint of envy. Had Kezia's household been as good as Leah's and Rafael's relationship would have been happy.
