Because of me

I couldn't feel my legs and it felt like my body was under a very heavy burden. Slowly I could feel the heat of the fire that spread scorched almost the entire room. The smoke billowed, pierced my little lungs and felt so stifling. I tried to keep breathing while screaming for help.

"Please..please...mama..."

I can hear the sound of people trying to put out the growing fire. As my consciousness slowly faded, I could feel someone holding me and holding me tightly. I don't know who he is. The light of the lamp woke me up who had been unconscious since. I felt the drip squirming in my little hand, and the bandage that wrapped my body here and there.

I was hospitalized one week ago. During that time, Mama and Papa kept taking turns to take care of me. But strangely I did not see Reyhan. What is sometimes seen, is only Om Adinata who sometimes stopped by to look after me with Papa.

"Congratulations Princess, today the Princess can go home" cried the doctor as he stroked my head.

She took a deep breath and then held both of my shoulders

"Daughter, don't be sad"

"Why mama?"

"Do you know who saved you?"

"Thank God, mama let's go to Aunt Winda's house. The princess wants to thank him" I cried while tugging at my mother's sleeves.

"Can't be baby" replied my mother

"Why ma?"

"Now Aunt Willa has flown far to heaven" said mama.

My heart broke into pieces when I found out what my mother said. Aunt Willa has left this world, for saving me. Well, Reyhan never saw me here. Because of me, she lost her mother. I groaned and cried in my mom's arms. I didn't expect it to be like this at all. "It's all because of me", my mind in my heart.
