22. Trying to forget

A few days after the glass breaking incident, Rio still had not said much. Mama Rio was back huffled because her son was silent again. Papa Rio who had returned from outside the city also knew of the incident, but still behaved normally.

The thing he had avoided the most had actually happened, his son and nephew had to be at odds just because of the female matter. From the beginning papa Rio knew if Boy and Rio liked the same woman, but Boy managed to control his ego, he better go than fight over the same woman with his brother.

Rio managed to get Maya engaged but she apparently never knew her wish. Because Rio is very caring for his woman so not the slightest bit he wants to touch. But not with Maya, she felt Rio didn't care. Maya wants to be like her friends relate to the opposite sex normally, holding hands, kissing.

Several times Maya tries to kiss Rio but there is always a reason to refuse, until finally Maya is frustrated with this rigid and boring relationship. Until finally his intention to continue college was approved by both his parents and Rio.

It turns out that there he met Boy, Rio's cousin who also likes him. It started at a cafe and eventually continued. Intensely they meet and need each other brings them in a forbidden relationship.

"Rio, can papa come in?" there was no sound, but suddenly the door of the room opened. Rio came out with his tired face, just came home from work and wanted to rest.

"Papa's interrupting your time, can we talk?" Rio nodded his head in approval.

The two then walked into Rio's room, sitting on the bed. Papa Rio looked sighed, unwilling to have his disappointment seen by his son. And Rio was the same, taking a deep breath and exhaling. It seems they do need time to talk between grown men.

"Pa, I'm sorry Rio disappointed papa. Rio couldn't take good care of his future son-in-law until he left Rio." initiating the conversation.

"No son, you're not wrong. Instead you've done the right thing, keeping the woman you love and not touching her before halal."

"But why pa, why should Boy?" rio asked, his emotions began to rise, but as much as possible to dampen him because he did not want to say rude to his papa.

" There are times when we are disappointed, but we never know what will happen. What we take good care of is hopeless, even out of control." take a breath and throw it away, looking at the expression of his son.

"Why should Boy? Papa doesn't know the answer either, who knows he's just like you like Maya. It's just that he didn't want to take it, he would rather leave this city to forget about it. But it turns out destiny brought them back together but the wrong way."

"Rio, rest assured that good women will get good men, and vice versa. If you love him then let him go, let him go. Maybe he's not your soul mate. Remember that someday there will be a beautiful woman who will be your soul mate. And if you're sure, don't wait too long to banish him."

"Papa knows you're strong, you can deal with it. Now you can be disappointed because of their relationship, but remember the sooner you know the less disappointed you are."

Papa Rio stood up and patted his son's shoulder, unwilling to see him lingering miserably. Stepping away left Rio, yet suddenly Rio hugged her.

"Pa, thanks. I'm sorry if Rio hasn't been able to fulfill papa's wish to get married."

"Hey boy, papa just wants you to be happy. Get up, find a beautiful woman to be your life partner." Papa Rio returned the embrace of his son, patted his back and scrambled his hair like he used to. They then laughed, the two men of different ages were indeed rarely talking together especially with their respective busyness.

"Yes take a break, tomorrow you have to work. Remember learning to be sensitive around you, there are girls who love you in silence. Find him, and take us in front of you as a son-in-law."

Papa Rio smiled and left Rio alone. It was finally finished, making an important decision for the happiness of his son.

Rio sat leaning on the head of the bed his hand was placed behind his head, digesting back his chatter with papa. Trying to understand his point, and convince himself to immediately forget his love.

From today Rio promised to try to forget about Maya, and their memories. Also tried to open his heart, and be sensitive to his surroundings as his father said.

Papa Rio returned to his room, approaching his wife who was trying to close her eyes.

"Ma...hasn't slept yet?" tanyakanya. Kissing his wife's forehead and hugging her.

"Have you finished mens talk?" papa Rio nodded, then started to close his eyes. The two went to sleep smiling.

After breakfast Rei hastily retrieved his car keys, he forgot yesterday to buy ice cream and went straight to sleep last night.

"Well, dilute it" opened his ice cream box. Rei went back inside the house, his mother and brother looked at each other. Seeing Rei's manyun face.

"Why are you, her lips are so manyun?" ask brother Dani.

"Nih" showed me his ice cream box, put it on the dining table.

"You bought ice cream, but forgot it?" Rei nodded his head. Sighs violently and goes back to eating his toast.

"So get in the freezer, that's all you have to bother" mama chirped from the kitchen. Putting the team rice that belonged to his newly cooked grandson.

"But it feels different ma, not like the first time to buy."

"Well, how do you want to be thrown away? kan dear Rei"

"yes he ma" put the toast and chewed it.

"So people are forgetful anyway, most remember the same handsome mas continue deh" mama's seductive

"Yes ma, eating bad sleep is not good. He wants to be with a handsome mas mulu" Kak Dina seduced him

"Say papa tell me a patch of lamar aja ma, let the disease lupanya cured"

Rei could only shake his head and smile, it had been a long time since his mother and brother had not teased Rei, especially since the death of his first husband Rei's world seemed to change. There is no laughter like today.

Fortunately, there was now Ardan who happily followed Rei's tease, so mom and dad could see Rei's laughter again. Hope Rei's smile doesn't go away.
