Second Woman

Second Woman
chapter 5 preparing the house

Some executive men who were stepping away from the meeting room into the spotlight of Pratama Company's employees.

Handsome or not, they remain the idol of the female employees who work in my company. The thick contents of the bag are enough to make the criteria of other dream men become eliminated.

I was among the men who had just finished a meeting with me. Every now and then I glanced at the circular Piaget on the left wrist.

"Just at lunchtime" I murmured slowly. I immediately waved my hand at the colleague who was now entering the elevator. After the elevator doors closed I turned my steps towards my private room.

While in front of the room my milile brown eyes caught the figure of a beautiful woman I knew last night.

The woman seemed to be sitting leisurely while reading a magazine on the guest sofa.

With a sense of wonder and curiosity, I stepped closer to Ana who was busy with her own world.

What is this woman doing here?

Upon hearing the sound of footsteps approaching her, Ana looked up at her face and smiled sweetly.

"Hi, good day, Mr. Ryan," greeted the woman with a sweet smile adorning her face.

"Sorry, Sir. I've told this Miss that you're in a meeting. But this Miss insists on waiting for you." Susan reported to me while looking down.

I raised my hand gesturing for the girl to end her speech. Then my eyes turned to An who was just sitting still with his elegant style. With eyes fixed at me.

"What's wrong, Miss Ana? What made your move here?"

My flat-pitched and unhappy question was answered by Ana with a sweet smile as usual. He then stepped off the sofa he was sitting on.

And step closer to me.

"I'm sorry if my arrival took you by surprise, Mr. Ryan. But I came here because I wanted to take you to lunch together."

I frowned. I feel very uncomfortable with Ana's presence here. My eyes immediately glanced at Susan who once stole a glance at me. I'm sure Susan was listening to my conversation with Ana.

To avoid misunderstandings when there is an inappropriate conversation, I invite Ana into my room.

"Let's talk inside." I stepped before Ana entered the room. Ana followed my steps with a happy smile that was clearly imprinted on her face.

Strange woman.

Susan who also saw it looks just breathing.

"Don't you say that you don't want to have lunch together as my thanks?" Without further ado, telling Ana to sit down, I immediately triggered a question that stuck on my tongue since then.

Ana did not seem to care about my haughty and indifferent attitude. Evident from his attitude and movement of money directly stepped into the sofa puturh located there and immediately sat himself.

"I'm taking you out to lunch together not because to charge you for your expression of gratitude."

"Then what's your purpose here and take me to lunch together?"

Ana bit her lower lip. Nervousness was suddenly seen from his body movements.

Seeing my cold demeanor and still standing looking at her instead of sitting on the sofa like her, definitely made Ana a little groggy.

Even I was still talking with a formal discussion even though Ana had tried to try to be familiar.

I just kept quiet. The words of this woman are becoming more and more unguided.

Then I saw Ana move from the sofa she was sitting on and stepped closer to me with a resounding body movement.

"sorry. But I can't fulfill it. I-" I'm starting to get nervous about situations like this.

"Oh, come on, Ryan. You can't possibly refuse my request. I've been waiting for you for two hours and you refused my invitation?" Ana cut my words and instantly made me dizzy.

"I never told you to wait for me for two hours. It's your own act and I'm not responsible for your time that you've sacrificed." I no longer use formal language. Because the truth is I'm getting uncomfortable with Ana's presence.

Hearing my words as soon as Ana's face became a little moody. "I did not expect that behind your handsome face was a pride. And now I realize. If your hospitality last night must have been because of your two friends." Then he took a deep breath. "Then, excuse me, Mr. Ryan. Sorry for taking your time."

I just kept quiet hearing her words. I looked at myself. Have I been acting really bad? Is that how arrogant I am?

As I glanced at her, Ana was stepping her feet towards the door. When he was almost there, I immediately approached and pulled his hand. I was completely unaware of my actions. The only thing that was imagined was the disappointed face of this woman in front of me. And I feel like I'm the cause.

"sorry. Not to make you hurt. But I just don't want any misunderstandings. Know, Miss Ana. I already have a wife. And I don't want any misunderstandings if I take a lunch offer from you."

Ana simply nodded in a cold manner. "I understand. Excuse me." Release my hand.

"Sorry" I said back.

Ana just passed by and quickly walked out of this room.

While I who was still in the room just lowered my head while thinking hard. It's not that I didn't see Ana's disappointed face. It's just, I'm the kind of person who's better at avoiding trouble.

But I really felt guilty seeing Ana's facial expression, I shook my head and quickly stepped out of the room.

"Dad!" My screams made some employees look over.

Ana who was entering the elevator immediately turned her head when I heard her name. I stepped up quickly and got into the elevator.

"All right, let's have lunch together." I licked my lips which suddenly felt dry. What have I done? Suddenly I regret doing this.

Another thing with this girl in blue dress next to me. Hearing my words earlier, Ana immediately nodded in a seductive style. A smile rose on his face. Then boldly his hands tidied up my slightly tilted das. Adding to my anxiety and regret.

"It's not good for a CEO to look messy in front of his employees" Ana said as she watched my mouth open slightly, wanting to protest her team.

Hearing his words, I undo the protest speech that was ready to slide. Then my eyes stared fixedly at Ana's brown eyes which also looked at my eyes boldly.

His eyes are the same color as mine. It's just that mine is darker and Ana's eyes are closer to light brown and very clear. Like cat eyes.

This time I really looked into his eyes. Beautiful but plunging. I felt a strong attraction from that defiant and courageous gaze.

"Don't look me in the eye too long, Mr. Ryan. I'm afraid you'll drown there." Ana smiled sweetly.

I'm groping for a second. I was aware of my behavior just now. A second later I chuckled and shook my head. The woman's words have a point. I was almost blown away by those challenging eyes.
