Rafa's Son and Family

Tiara and Putra had just finished their dinner, Putra then drove her car leaving the restaurant with Tiara.

"Don't you mind if we go to the park for a second?" asked the Son who only answered a nod of the head and a smile by Tiara.

The son then drove his car towards the park which was not so far from where Tiara lived.

Arriving there they walked around the park with dim lights located in several corners of the park.

They chose to sit on one of the chairs under the garden lights.

"Did you never intend to return to Indonesia Tiara? it's been over 3 years that you've been here and you've never been home at all" the son asked Tiara.

"Tiara has no purpose there, sister, so why did Tiara go back there," replied Tiara.

"Are you okay with that?" ask Putra.

"Tiara can only try to live all this well, even if Tiara returns there are only the tombs of Mama and papa waiting for Tiara," Tiara replied.

"Their tomb may be there, but I'm sure they're always in your heart, aren't they?"

"That's right," Tiara replied by nodding her head and smiling.

"I'm just like you, Tiara, I've lost my parents since I was a kid, even though I feel like my time with my parents is very short but there are so many wonderful memories that I'll never forget," putra says.

"Nobody will be able to erase that beautiful memory, brother, because he will always be there as long as we are still breathing on this earth" said Tiara who was met with a nod of the head by the Son.

"If it wasn't for Rafa's parents maybe I wouldn't be here, maybe I wouldn't have lived my life this well" said Putra.

"What is the effect of Rafa's parents in the life of the Son's brother?" ask Tiara.

"I even consider them to be my second parents, because of their kindness to me who already thought of me as their own child, ever since my parents died I've been living in an orphanage and Rafa's parents have come to take me out of the orphanage."

"So Rafa's parents adopted Sis Putra?" tiara asked who was surprised to hear the Son's story.

"No, they took me out of the orphanage after I graduated Elementary School, because Om's parents Adam and Aunt Rossa didn't allow me to be their son, Adam and Aunt Rossa gave me a house to live in, a separate house with the house where Rafa lives" explained Putra.

"But there's no way Brother Son lives alone, right?" tiara asked who was increasingly curious about the story of the Son.

"Of course not, I live in that house with a few people, they clean that house every day, preparing all my needs and taking very good care of me until I grew up and started to take responsibility for myself" replied the Son.

"Did Rafa's parents hire them?" ask Tiara.

"Yes they are the confidants of Rafa's parents, I was also schooled at the same school as Rafa and I was friends with Rafa, wherever Rafa went on vacation his parents always took me, we were like twins back then" the Son replied.

"Until I finally made the stupid mistake that led Rafa away from me, but now I'm very grateful that he has forgiven my stupidity in the past" continued the Son.

"If Om's parents Adam and aunt Rossa agree to adopt an older brother, maybe Brother Son and brother Rafa will really be brothers now" Tiara said.

"You're right and it might be more awkward when Rafa and I fight if we really become brothers living in one house" the Son replied.

"Did the Son never ask why Adam and Aunt Rossa were so good to the Son? of course other than because the brother of the son is the son of Om Adam's best friend and aunt Rossa!"

"I never asked that question, I just thought that maybe they felt sorry for me and because they were friends with my parents, they chose to treat me as their child," reply Son.

"Sister Son is lucky because he can still feel the family affection of his parents, Rafa," said Tiara.

"We have the luck of each of us Tiara, maybe you are unlucky with your stepfamily, but you are lucky because with your ability you can be at this point now" replied the Son.

Tiara frowned as Putra told her about her stepfamily, as she felt she had never told the Son.

"It seems like Rafa has told a lot of stories to Putra," said Tiara.

"Of course, if we are friends there is absolutely no secret between us" the Son replied.

"Including Tiara's personal matters that Rafa's brother knows?" tiara asked who was only answered with a nod of the head by the Son.

Tiarapun just sighed without saying anything, he did not expect if the return of the friendship of the Son and Rafa made Rafa tell all about him to the Son.

Tiara was still silent, she realized that the Son had done a lot for her. The son who had always been there for her always cared for her and helped whatever she needed, yet that in no way made Tiara drop her heart on Son and it made her feel a little guilty.

"Friendship with you is indeed very pleasing to Tiara, but my little heart wants more, even though I realize there is still Rafa stored in your heart," replied the Son.

"Tiara is very grateful for all that Brother Putra has done for Tiara, but...... Tiara's.... Tiara can't decide anything at the moment brother" Tiara said.

"So you haven't forgotten Rafa? after all these years you've been here without meeting and without communicating with him" asked Putra.

"Then will you come back to her?" ask the Son who was immediately returned to his head by Tiara.

"Why? can't you guys get back into a relationship? now there's no more marriage standing in the way of you two!"

"It's not that easy, brother, there are many things that must be considered, even Tiara is not sure whether Tiara and Rafa can go back to what they used to be" Tiara replied.

"Cure your heart Tiara first, don't force anything that makes you doubt, I'm sure love will never be misaddressed, she knows where she should come and when she should go" said Putra.

"And now is my time to drive away my feelings for you" continued the Son with a faint smile.

"I'm sorry Tiara, brother" said Tiara, who felt guilty.

After some time chatting with passing a moment of awkwardness, finally Putraun drove Tiara home.

Arriving in front of Tiara's residence, Putra prevents Tiara from getting out of her car immediately.

"Whatever happens between us, can we stay in good touch forever?" ask the Son to Tiara.

"Maybe it will be a little awkward but staying friends doesn't hurt," Tiara replied with a smile.

"I won't cross my boundaries as your friend" said the Son, who was met with a nod of his head and a smile by Tiara.

That morning Rafa drove his car towards his parents' house. He wanted to spend his Sunday at his parents' house.

Arriving there Mama Rafapun immediately invited Rafa to breakfast together.

"Tumben once you come, usually never have a holiday even on Sundays" the father told Rafa.

Rafa just smiled thinly without saying anything and enjoyed his breakfast with his parents.

"You should come here more often, because after you get married you will very rarely meet Mama and papa here" said Mama Rafa.

"What about Maya? is he still calling you?" ask Papa Rafa to Rafa.

"So many months he hasn't contacted Rafa pa" Rafa replied.

"You have to be firm with Rafa, don't let him misunderstand if you give him a chance to get back to you" said the mother who was only answered with a nod of the head by Rafa.

Since they officially divorced, Maya did still often contact Rafa but Rafa did not pay attention to him even until several years ago Maya still tried to approach Rafa, although Rafa firmly ignored him.

After finishing breakfast they were still chatting at the dining table for some time.

"What makes Mom and Dad love him so much? even it seems like mom and dad love the Son more than Rafa, is it possible that the Son is actually the son of mom and dad?" rafa asked which made the father chuckle.

Papa Rafa then explains to Rafa how close his friendship with Putra's parents is.

It was your parents who helped Papa Rafa start the company from scratch. When there is a big problem with their company, Putra's parents are trying to find investors amid the deteriorating state of the company.

That's when an accident killed Putra's parents. Mama and Papa Rafa feel very guilty, because of the incident they want to adopt the Son at that time, but because of economic circumstances that do not allow them to delay their desire to adopt the Son.

Until finally their economic situation has stabilized they also began to look for the existence of the Son, but the parents of mama and papa Rafa do not allow to raise the Son as their child for fear that it will become a public question that will affect the company.

"Finally mom and dad agreed to take Son out of the orphanage and give him a place to live with the confidants of mom and dad who take care of him," papa Rafa said at the end of the story.

"Parent Putra has a big hand in the establishment of our company Rafa, so Mama and papa love him very much like our own child, he said, because that's all we can do to repay the kindness of Putra's parents" said Mama Rafa.
