A Meeting

"Near!" said Rafa who was so surprised to see Tiara sitting among his employees.

"He who has just returned from America sir, he got his privilege because he has graduated from his S2 with good results and got a promotion because he was willing to be transferred from America," personal assistant Rafa explained.

Rafa just nodded his head with a smile. Suddenly, his long-freezing heart melted when he saw the girl he loved in front of his eyes.

Got a smile from Rafa who is the CEO of his place of work, Tiarapun only replied with a thin smile and slightly lowered his head.

While Rafa is wrestling with his own heart, trying not to misbehave in front of his employees.

But due to being too surprised by Tiara's arrival, Rafa loses his focus and even looks nervous, but luckily his personal assistant can control the situation so as not to get more chaotic.

After a while, the meeting was over. Everyone in the room came out one by one, including Tiara. Now there was only Rafa in the room. Rafapun immediately took his phone and contacted Putra.

"I'm busy" said Putra as he had just received Rafa's call.

"Wait a minute!" rafa said before Putra ended his call.

"What's wrong? I'm having dinner with a client right now!"

"It's about Tiara, did you know she was back here?" ask Rafa.

"Yes I know," replied the Son who sounded relaxed.

"Why didn't you tell me?" ask Rafa.

"Why should I tell you? you're ready!" son's Reply.

"Aaarrghhh you're such a bitch, do you know I'm almost crazy here for suddenly seeing it!"

"Hahaha, isn't that what you want!"

"Yes but it's too sudden, I'm not ready, I...."

"The fate of walking without waiting for you ready Rafa, just assume you've got your second chance and don't let you waste it" said Putra cut off Rafa's speech.

"Then what about you? when are you coming back?" ask Rafa.

"I? I don't know, there has been no order requiring me to return" replied the Son.

"Don't you ask me to come back?"

"That's because aunt Rossa asked me to come back, right?"

"You're right, but can't you just go back, Mama misses you so much because you're usually the one who comes home more than me!"

"I can't come and go just because of Rafa's personal problems" said Putra.

"But didn't you ask to be transferred to America because you wanted to follow Tiara?"

"You're right, let's just say that's the privilege that Adam gave me and that's more than enough for me, now I don't want to ask for more" the Son replied.

"But the mama who asked you to come back, after all, there's no Tiara there and what's the reason you're still there?"

"You're a son of aunt Rossa, you should have visited aunt Rossa more often and why I'm still here because this is where I work, I wouldn't have come back if it was just for personal reasons" the Son replied.

"But....."

"This is my decision Rafa, om Adam and Aunt Rossa have done a lot for me and now I have to be more independent because I don't know how else I can do to return the favor to Om Adam and aunt Rossa," said the Son cutting off Rafa's speech.

"Well then, but I still wish you'd come back here, wouldn't it be more fun if two best friends lived close together?"

"Huhaha have you missed me now?"

"As far as you go, just continue with your dinner I'll continue my work!" rafa then ended his call to the Son.

On the other hand Tiara who had already entered her study was still silent for a while. He tried to calm his heart that was turbulent at that time.

His big decision to leave America was not an easy one because it meant that he would meet some people from the past who had hurt him.

But in the end Tiara still chose to leave America for the sake of his career. He did not want to waste the opportunity he got, given how he tried to be at the point he wanted.

Tiara had prepared herself well, preparing her heart so that she could do her job professionally without involving her feelings.

Ever since Tiara took her step into the office, her heartbeat had been racing, especially as she sat in the meeting room to wait for Rafa to arrive, the clock ticks slowly and makes Tiara even more nervous and agitated.

When Rafa comes and is right in front of his eyes, Tiara tries hard to control his heart and mind.

He did not want to let his mind comment on his relationship with Rafa, let alone the disappointment and sadness he felt because of Rafa.

Tiara did not want it to affect her work later, which is why Tiara chose to be quiet more without looking at Rafa.

Even as Rafa gave a smile to her, Tiara only thought of it as a smile from a superior to her new employee.

Tiara took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, doing so several times until she felt her nervousness had subsided.

"Tiara's spirit, just focus on working and don't mind anything else" Tiara told herself.

Tiara knew very well if she decided to return to the company with her new position, then he will work directly under Rafa which means he will meet Rafa more often than before when he first worked there.

Tiara accepted the consequences for the career she wanted to achieve, even though it meant she had to work hard not to engage feelings in her work.

But it is undeniable that Tiara's return to the company seems to bring back her happy memories along with the pain and disappointment she had felt because of Rafa.

For a moment the claustrophobic again squeezed his chest, remembering how Rafa had let him down, remembering, but Tiara tried hard to ignore what was on his mind he was just trying to focus on doing his job without caring about his past with Rafa.

"This is the path that I have chosen, I must accept whatever consequences will occur, but for sure I must do my job well" Tiara said as she began her work.

As usual Tiara always does her work with detail and meticulous, she can always give a satisfactory impression of all the work she completed.

Aside from his hard work and intelligence, his passion made him able to be at the point of his success.

Tiara never wasted the opportunity that came her way, even though she knew there would be many storms blocking her but she would not give up easily to get what she wanted.

Time passed, the clock had already shown at 06:00 pm when Tiara had just tidied up her desk.

Tiara then took her steps leaving her study with some of her new friends.

While in the lobby accidentally Tiara cross paths with Rafa. Looking at Rafa who was standing and staring at him, Tiarapun immediately turned his gaze towards his friends and brought his steps quickly towards the exit.

Seeing Rafa before him gave a drop of cold dew as well as embers that came together. Happy and the wounds re-churned in his heart every time he saw Rafa in front of him.

Tiara then took her step towards the stop, before the bus she was waiting for came, Tiara immediately got into the bus that would take her to the cafe where Chika worked.

Arriving Tiara at the cafe, Tiarapun immediately took his steps into the cafe but he did not see the whereabouts of Chika there.

"Why doesn't he exist? didn't he say he was in a cafe?" inner Tiara asked inwardly while carrying her gaze watching the working waiters.

"Welcome, brother, please sit down!' said a waiter to Tiara.

Tiarapun nodded his head with a smile then sat on one of the benches there while choosing the menu he ordered.

"Please wait a minute, brother," said the waiters then walked away leaving Tiara to prepare Tiara's order.

Shortly thereafter waitress was back with a cup of drinks and snacks.

"Sorry brother, I want to ask you a question" Tiara told the waiters.

"Yes, what's wrong?" reply waiters with friendly.

"Is Chika not at work today?" ask Tiara.

"They?" ask the waiters repeating Tiara's words.

"Yes Chika, she works here, doesn't she?" reply Tiara.

"Aaahh might mean brother Chika, supervisor here?"

"Supervisor?" tiara asked who was now shocked to hear the waiters' words.

"Yes, sister, he used to work as a waiters but now Mr. Rafa has made Chika's brother supervisor here," explained the waiters.

"Well, I haven't heard from him in a long time, is he here?"

"Sister, I call for a moment" replied the waiters and walked away to call Chika who was in her room at the time.

Soon a well-dressed girl and a shoulder-length haircut walked up to Tiara, leaving Tiara unable to hide her smile seeing a friend she had not seen for a long time.

Tiarapun immediately stood up and hugged Chika who was in front of him, they also hugged each other for a while.

"Why didn't you tell me you were already a supervisor here? I almost left because I didn't see you here" Tiara told Chika.

"Hahaha I'm sorry, how about you? why did you just tell me you were back?"

"I deliberately wanted to surprise you hehehe.." replied Tiara.

"Hmmm, you can finally get what you've been wanting and it looks like you can get it in a pretty short time!"

"Thank you Chika, I also didn't expect that I would get many opportunities to achieve what I wanted, even though there were many things that had made me doubt!"

While chatting with Chika, suddenly Tiara's gaze fell on someone who was walking quickly out of the cafe with a small child in her arms.

But since Tiara was focused on Chika and only glanced at her, Tiara could not recognize who she was seeing.

He only felt that someone seemed familiar, even though he only caught a glimpse.

"What's Tiara? do you know him?" chika asked Tiara who was still watching the back of someone who had just come out of the cafe by holding the little boy.

"No, who is he?" tiara replied at once asking.

"He's a new employee here, Mr. Rafa who asked him directly to work here even though he already has children and he works with his children" Chika replied.

"Why did he work with his son?" ask Tiara.

"See, but what I heard from other friends they had heard the woman's conversation with Mr. Rafa, in essence the woman had been abandoned by her husband and her economic situation was also bad," chika answered explaining.

"Waahh, what a pity, but why would Rafa help him? does Rafa know him personally?" tiara asked curiously.

"I don't know either, but for sure Mr. Rafa gives him some leeway while he works because he also has to take care of his young son" Chika replied.

"Who is that woman? there is no way that Rafa's brother would help him if Rafa doesn't know him well" Tiara's inner voice asked inwardly.

"Forget about that woman, what about your relationship with Mr Rafa? it seems that there is still no progress at all," Chika said as she asked.

"Why did you suddenly ask that?" reply Tiara asked who seemed reluctant to answer Chika's question.

"Some times I met Mr. Rafa and always asked about you, but Mr. Rafa only answered him briefly, like there has been no progress in your relationship" Chika replied.

"What did Rafa say to you?" tiara asked who was suddenly curious.

"I'm just asking how Tiara and Rafa always answer if you're okay and you're focused on your career, only cliche answers like that that Mr. Rafa always says," answer Chika.

"Didn't Rafa say something else?" tanya Tiara who was returned with a headband by Chika.

"What makes you not formalize your relationship? it's not clear Mr. Rafa likes you and it seems you like Mr. Rafa too" asked Chika.

"A lot of things have happened and I'm sorry that I couldn't tell you, but I'm definitely trying to heal my heart right now" Tiara replied with a bland smile.

"Why indeed? did Mr Rafa hurt you? did you two fight?"

"Too complicated for Chika to explain, I don't want to think about it right now, I just want to work well and let time carry wherever my destiny path goes" Tiara replied.

"When I really hope that if you can have more relationship with Mr. Rafa, I can see clearly how Mr. Rafa paid more attention to you when you first joined the cafe, so I'm sure Mr. Rafa really loves you" said Chika.

Tiara simply smiled faintly without saying anything. He can't tell Chika what really happened, especially no one knows about Rafa's marriage to Maya.
