Amanda believed Ashraf's words. If he left because of office business. Amanda didn't ask much more.

"Don't come home tonight. I'm going to be pregnant" Amanda said before Ashraf left.

"Yes, I'll be right back. You sleep when you are sleepy. Don't wait for me." replied Ashraf.

After saying goodbye, Ashraf immediately boarded his motorcycle to go to the location of the dinner that held his office.

Arriving at the location of the event, Ashraf's eyes immediately swept across the room in the restaurant.

When Ashraf's eyes caught the figure of Emily's ex-wife on the counter side of a meal. Ashraf walked towards Emily.

Didn't you take her?" insinuated Emily, who was indifferent to the ex-husband.

"Don't talk about him. Where could I have brought him here. This is an office event." said Ashraf.

"Jasmine is not sick. I must have brought Jasmine. Didn't Mr. Daniel tell us to bring family with us. You got him, I got Jasmine. Others also bring family. So you should have taken him. They then sit at the same table as Ashraf and Emily.

Daniel then introduces his business partner to Emily. Because Emily is one of the important people appointed by her company to send cooperation with Daniel's company.

"Mom Emily, meet Mr. Kendrick. He's one of our investors" Daniel said, introducing Kendrick to Emily.

For a while, Emily immersed herself in a conversation with Daniel and Kendrick.

And that made Ashraf feel neglected.

Ashraf's eyes were not sidetracked when he noticed Emily talking about business with Kendrick.

Moreover, Emily's style is supple and a lot of smiling it seems to be enough to make Kendrick comfortable chatting with Emily.
