Rhinayung

Rhinayung
My mother, she is not my angel

A few days after that, I never went home to my father's rickety house. I slept at Grandma's. Even during the day, I stayed at my grandmother's house. In the morning, Grandma always made breakfast for me. Simple, but it makes me happy.

"Rinayung, Grandma forgot not to write to your Miss Lik yet. Later in the night remind Grandma, yes!" my grandmother said as she waited for me to have breakfast at the simple dinner table.

"Yes, Grandma! I also forgot to remind Grandma yesterday" I said. "Let's eat together, Grandma! I've been waiting for Grandma to eat" I continued.

"Grandma's not hungry yet, anyways this is too early for Grandma to have breakfast. You eat a lot, so you can focus on the class!" my grandmother said with her special smile.

I smiled, returning my grandmother's smile. Really, it's simple but meaningful. Simple, but this affection I will never forget.

"Sir, later after school I want to make compost mixed with soil. Make planting chili like Grandma's plan yesterday," I continued.

"All right! Let Grandma go to the fields. You just make it at home. For the pot, try to find in the warehouse. Grandma has long collected plastic wrap two liters of cooking oil. Take good use of it!" grandma says.

"Good, Grandma! I went to school first huh, Grandma." I said as I shook hands and kissed Grandma's hand.

Honestly, I've never done anything like that with my mom. My mother was rude to me, maybe my father's.

My school activities are going well. I am an intelligent and accomplished student in school. Although I am not a slang child, but I have many friends. In fact, there was no bully against me at all. I am grateful, maybe this is one of His gifts after the kindness and affection of my grandmother.

I went to school on foot. Alone and pass through the more short-cut rice paddies. However, if the rainy season I pass the village road that has been paved. Pretty far.

As planned until my grandmother's house, I ate and rushed to prepare the equipment to plant chilies. While my grandmother had gone to the fields to find grass.

"I'm comfortable here. Eating can also be full," I answered honestly.

"Go home! Your father is angry! Want you to persecute your father again?" said later.

"Ask another child, Mom. What they were treated like by their parents. Is being treated cruelly and being indoctrinated into being a thief like me?" I started to oppose my mother.

My mother's eyes glared. His glare doesn't scare me, it's normal. I'm not afraid of getting hit or kicked again. Snatch my hair? Ah, I had a very short haircut and was left with only three centimeters. It's hard to pull, not as easy as when my hair is still long and tangled as before.

"Mom will call your father if you don't come home!" threaten mom.

"Mom, why are you siding with me? Why didn't Mom ever help me when Dad mistreated me? Is that what you do, because you love me?"

"Yes!" mom answered only a short question.

"Fuck with love!"

"Plakkk!"

Mom slapped me on the cheek, right where Dad slapped me a few days ago. It's very painful. But this hurt, not as painful as my heart continues to be sliced.

"Mom, I'm used to receiving this! Remember well, Mom! I'll remember this my whole life!"
