A shiny black gem dazzled his gaze when he first opened the box.
His forehead creased deeply, paying attention to the necklace. Indeed, he was fascinated by the luxury of the necklace and Evelyn was sure that the necklace was not expensive.
But that's not the main focus. This necklace felt familiar in his memory. Evelyn felt like she had seen this necklace, fire when had she ever seen it?
With hesitation Evelyn took the necklace, unfurling it in midair. It's really beautiful indeed.
"This is Aaron's last relic. As I said earlier, this necklace will be given to Aaron's wife, and you're the one." Evelyn hears Chlarent's explanation but has no intention of answering. He was still thinking hard where he had seen this necklace.
"Evely..."
"Eh yes, Mom. Sorry, I'm pretty blown away by this necklace." Evelyn chuckles.
Chlarent smiled, "This necklace has a pair, another one is on Aaron. Here I put it." Chlarent took over the jewel necklace.
"But Mom, is it okay to wear it?" Evelyn was still doubtful. He did not want Aaron to be angry because he was presumptuous to wear his mother's belongings.
"It's okay. Don't think about Aaron, there's a mother protecting you. Understood?" Chlarent.
"All right, ma'am." Evelyn nodded. Chlarent immediately put the necklace around Evelyn's neck.
After finishing Evelyn touched the necklace that is now attached to her neck. Her beauty grew even more when combined with her smooth white neck. It was as if the necklace had been specially created for Evelyn.
"It's so pretty." Praise Chlarent.
"Remember, you have to take good care of this necklace. Don't lose it, ok?"
"Okay ma'am, I must have taken good care of her." Evelyn smiled.

The spoon he was holding slipped off on top of his breakfast plate saw the cold-faced man getting closer to him. His body trembled violently looking at the man.
That deadly gaze was still staring at him sharply. It was very desirable for Evelyn to run away from this place, going away from the man as far as possible.
The man smirked at Evelyn's reaction upon seeing her. "You scared?" Ask the man.
It was Aaron, the man Evelyn was so afraid of. The man who filled his suffering for these few months. The man who could sell it to a pimp just to get his revenge.
Evelyn did not reply, she instead inched away as Aaron sat beside her.
Aaron's burly hand was raised touching Evelyn's pale face which made Evelyn prance from her seat.
Aaron grinned, "Sst don't be afraid. I'm not gonna hurt you." Aaron did say it softly, but to Evelyn the voice was already like the sound of a trumpet reverberating from hell.
"Come to my wife." Aaron pulled Evelyn slowly to get close to him.
"Don't." Evelyn half-cried shut her eyes tightly. "Please, not Sir. Don't hurt me...."
Aaron was silent for a moment, so scared was this girl of him?
Aaron wanted to care about Evelyn, but his logic insisted on dismissing all of that.
"Who wants to hurt you hmm? Come here, I won't do anything to you." Aaron said as softly as possible.
It turns out that Doctor Lenin's words about Evelyn's health are true. Look at this girl so scared of him.
Please don't be rude to Miss Evelyn. Avoid words that might make Miss Evelyn feel depressed that would stress her out.
That was Doctor Lenin's message, when Aaron again questioned Evelyn's situation.
