Chapter 58

Raka Hanendra pushed Alex's body over him, fresh blood flowing from the corner of Raka's lips. "You came into my office and you were violent?" Raka said.

"You told your wife to meet my daughter and hurt her!" yell Alex.

Now that his common sense was gone, just because of the mistakes his family had to suffer in the past, Alex clenched his hands and approached Raka who was standing not far from him.

Alex pulls Raka's collar and is ready to hit her back but Hadi Handoko comes to stop him.

"Alex stop!" said Hadi who just came with Gio.

Hadi Handoko walked up to the two men and separated them, looking at her son who was still angry and ready to hit his opponent, as he turned to face Raka Hanendra.

"You want to know what happened to your parents?" ask Raka.

"Don't call my parents your dirty mouth a murderer!" yelled Raka who still thought her parents died because they were killed by Hadi Handoko.

"Did you hear it from Noel that I killed your parents?" asked Hadi with a cold look.

Hadi threw a diary book right on Raka's chest, "It was your mother's diary, as well as the cause of your parents' deaths."

Raka saw a worn out book near her feet, she immediately picked up her mother's diary.

Page after page he read Raka smiled as she read her fond memories with her mother as a child but her facial expression turned tense as she read the last page.

Raka immediately knelt down after finishing reading Reni's diary Madam Hanendra, Hadi patted Raka's shoulder he knew it was not that easy to accept reality.

"Did you guys love each other?" asked Raka who was still bowing her head.

"When I tried to let go for my best friend, I didn't love him anymore" Hadi replied.

"Can you tell me what happened back then" Pinta Raka.

*Sixty years ago*

I and Arya are friends of Junior High, our nature is different he is a very open man and likes freedom while I am a man who always learns, learns and learns especially about my feelings are very closed.

After graduating Junior High I went to business school while Arya went to a regular school not because she was poor but chose freedom.

When I got to that place, Arya was already a different man. While Reni was prostrating at Arya's feet, "Tell me Hadi, do you love each other?" arya asked as she saw Hadi standing in the doorway.

"That's Aryan's past and now we're nothing but friends."

I immediately grabbed Reni's body as it collapsed, "Why are you doing this Reni?"

"I don't want my husband to kill his best friend, ugh!"

The gun in Arya's hand fell to the floor, he immediately knelt beside his wife and cried.

"Ar-ya, at first I didn't love you but I tried to accept you and love you until our pu-tra Raka was born" Reni said stammeringly.

Finally Reni breathed her last on the lap of the two men she loved, Arya who lost Reni cried hysterically and I tried to strengthen her best friend.

"Please promise, don't let my son know if his father killed his mother. Let's say that our car entered the ravine and died" Arya said, carrying his wife's body.

"You don't do anything crazy, Arya. Raka is still a kid and needs you by her side!" Hadi tries to stop the crazy mind of Arya who wants to kill herself as well.

"Go, I hope you can look after and love our son like your own son."

Hadi did not answer he tried to hold Arya who took Reni away but unfortunately Aryan's men especially Noel blocked Hadi who tried to hold Arya.

"Stop brengs*k!" yelled Hadi but did not make Arya stop.

After the departure of Arya and Reni from the eastern forest, I returned to the main house of the Handoko family. When I blamed the television, a news report said that there was a car that deliberately drove free into the ravine.

The burning car and the discovery of two charred bodies in the fire made me believe it was the bodies of my two best friends.

"A week later I wanted to invite you to stay with us but you've moved out of the country with Noel" Hadi said.

Raka looked at Alex, "I'm going to give her your daughter back" Raka said.
