CHAPTER 34

After Ani contacted the doctor not long after the doctor came, Ani drove the young doctor to his Young Master's room. When the door opened Kanaya turned and saw Ani with the doctor entering Kavin's room, Ani came out of the room and left her master with the young doctor.

"Sorry Madam papa I can't come so I'm the one who replaced her here." Syarif's doctor told Kanaya.

"It's okay doctor, please check on my son." Kanaya invites the young doctor to check on the condition of her eldest son.

Doctor Syarif began to examine Kavin. "Young Master's headache because of the trigger of his missing memory. So Madam needn't worry, this is just the effect where the memories of Young Master start popping up." Doctor Syarif

Kanaya was relieved to hear the Sharif doctor's explanation, she was very afraid if something happened that she did not want to see her son again.

"Let me take the doctor." Doctor Sharif nodded with Kanaya's invitation.

The two of them went down the stairs from the second floor to the living room, "Here please make doctor Sharif a drink." Kanaya's orders.

"Good Mistress." Ani goes to the kitchen to make Sharif and Kanaya drink.

Ani came up with a tray containing two drinks for her Nyonya and Nyonya's guests.

"Please drink the dock." Kanaya.

"Thank you Madam." Answer doctor Sharif.

Adara daydreamed as she and Kira were drawing the clothing design, Kora glanced at the paper that was still clean from the graffiti in front of Adara.

"You're daydreaming Ra?" Kira patted his cousin's shoulder.

Adara turned her head and smiled, "i'm confused by our relationship Ki, we've been dating but we're still far apart."

"What are you fighting about?" Ask Kira.

"No, I'm going home first." Adara stood up and left Kira still confused in her study.

"Is that conta really torture?" Kira Mumbled.

On the way home Adara received a call from Kanaya telling him to come home early, I don't know what made the woman who had given birth to him tell him to quickly go home.

Adara was confused when she saw a foreign car parked in front of her house, she immediately entered to find out who the owner of the car was.

"Mother." Call Adara when she's home.

Kanaya who heard the voice of her daughter turned around and immediately approached Adara.

"From boy." Kanaya takes Adara sitting on the sofa.

"Include him son of Dr. Gunawan Syarif." Kanaya said, Syarif's doctor smiled sweetly and was replied with a smile by Adara.

"Norris." They also shake hands.

"You guys talk first, you want to see Kavin." Kanaya leaves Adara and the doctor Sharif.

There was a sense of awkwardness between them. "Please drink the dock." Adara.

"Yes thank you." Answer doctor Sharif.

Adara's phone rang, she saw Devano's name on her phone screen.

"Why it's not raised, who knows it's important." Syarif said when he saw Adara put her phone in her blezeer pocket.

"Ah, I won't call you back." Adara replied with a faint smile.

"Then I say goodbye. Say hello and thank you to Mrs Kanaya."

"Okay, thank you doctor." Doctor Syarif nodded and went to the door in between by Adara.

After Syarif's doctor came home, Adara went to her brother's room to see his condition, Adara went to Kanaya who was sitting on the edge of Kavin's mattress.

"Mother how's sister?" Ask Adara.

"How about Doctor Sharif, do you like him, son?" Ask Kanaya.

"Is my mother setting me up with him?" Adara looked at Kanaya.

Kanaya smiled. "Yes, my mother saw that doctor Sharif was a good man, especially his family was close to the Handoko Family." Answer Kanaya.

"Adara already has a mother's lover, and that's Devano."

"Your father will not approve of your relationship, after he knows the Devano family was involved in the suffering of your brother and our family for twenty years." Kanaya held her daughter's hand.

"But our mother loved each other. Who knows with our love the relationship between these two families can be reconciled." Adara tried to convince her.

Kanaya shook her head a sign she remained on her decision. "Mother and father don't want to be in a relationship with the Hanendra Family." Kanaya lets go of her grasp and goes out leaving Adar still sitting on the edge of her brother's bed.

Later that night, Kavin sees Adara sleeping next to him and wakes him up. "Norris." While shaking his sister's body.

"Sister." Adara rubbed both of her eyes.

"Go back to your room to rest." Kavin.

Adara saw her watch showing at 7 p.m., she rushed down from Kavin's bed.

"I have a dinner appointment with Devano." Adara's murmurs can still be heard clearly by Kavin.

"You don't go." Banning Kavin, she fears that Devano will hurt her sister.

Adara stopped as she was getting ready to leave her brother's room, "Sister also forbid me from meeting Devano?" Ask Adara.

"He doesn't sincerely love you, he's just a pawn to destroy the Handoko Family." Kavin got off his bed and approached Adara who was looking at him in disbelief.

"Sister, mother and father want to separate us? Doesn't that brother know Devano's nature? Why is big brother now accusing Devano like that." Adara said in the middle of her crying.

"I said that because I knew what Devano was like, he was never interested in women, and he was also used to hurt you." Kavin still hugged Adara who was sobbing.

"Trust your family Adara, I will protect you and our family from the Hanendra Family, although my condition has not fully recovered but I will protect our family." Kavin rubbed his sister's back trying to calm her down.

"I'm sorry brother, I can't believe it before I know it myself." Inner Adara.

Adara returned to her room, and she saw her cell phone not on call from Devano. "Did he forget his promise?" Adara throws a square object on her bed and she goes into the bathroom.

"Norris." Call Kanaya when she walks into her daughter's room.

"Yes bun, what's wrong?" Shouted Adara who was from inside the bathroom.

"The hunt is down, your father is waiting to eat together."

"All right bun."

As Kanaya wants to get out of her daughter's room, Adara's phone rings above her bed.

Kanaya took the phone and saw Devano's name appear on the screen of the square object in her hand.

"Devano?" Kanaya Mumbled.

The bathroom door opened and Adara came out. "Mother."

Kanaya turned to the bathroom and looked at her daughter, Adara approached Kanaya and grabbed her phone from her mother's hand.

"The mother has told you to end your relationship, mother does not want the mother's daughter hurt son." Kanaya.

"Mother, please give privacy to Adara. Adara knows mom, dad and sister don't want Adara to get hurt but Devano isn't who you think she is." Adara clasped the hand of the woman who had given birth to her, hoping that her mother would not oppose her relationship with Devano.

Kanaya was speechless at her daughter's remark, in fact she didn't want to hurt her daughter but she also couldn't go against the orders of her husband who didn't want to get in touch with the Hanendra Family.
