CHAPTER 49

Inside Devano's room and his papa sitting on the sofa, Mr. Raka stared intently at Devano.

"But knows you're from Alex's residence" said Mr. Raka with a cold face.

Devano was silent he did not know his papi knew him from the Alex residence, he looked at his papi with a cold look.

"The fire spied on me?" devano asked in an annoyed tone.

"No! But the papi's men saw you there" replied Raka, "Remember Devano, if you want to see the girl happy do what Papi told you to do," said Mr. Rakan in a firm voice.

Devano clenched both his hands trying to hold back his anger that was on his chest, wanting it to feel like he was hitting his papi but for the moment he was powerless as power was not fully in his hands yet.

Mr. Raka stopped at the door before exiting Devano's room, "Papi has already booked a ticket for you back to England tomorrow, Papi does not want you to make trouble later in the day," said Mr. Raka.

Devano woke up to see that his cell phone clock was eight in the morning, he rushed to the bathroom to clean his body and went to meet Adara before he left for England.

Ten minutes after he finished getting ready, Devano stared at the ring he had prepared for Adar and hoped that the decision of the woman he loved would change and then return to him.

"I hope you change your decision Adara" Devano murmured and put the ring in its place.

Devano went downstairs to say goodbye to his master, Evelyn and Mr. Sanjaya were waiting for Devano downstairs.

"Mom, where's Papi?" devano asked as he did not see Mr. Raka.

"In her study" Evelyn answered.

"I'm going there, I want to leave" said Devano and Evelyn.

Devano was walking towards his papal office, the door half open. When Devano wanted to enter, he overheard his papi conversation with someone over the phone.

"Doubt the wedding, don't let them have an event" said Mr. Raka.

Devano smiled hearing that his papi also wanted the marriage not to happen, but suddenly Devano's smile disappeared and his face turned cold to hear the words of his papi.

"Kidnap Alex's daughter" said Mr. Raka while laughing.

Devano knocked on the door and tried to calm himself down pretending not to hear anything his papa said.

"Pi, I'm saying goodbye!" Devano approached her papi and immediately hugged her.

"Do you need papi interracial?" ask Mr. Raka.

"No, Arka will take me" Devano replied.

Devano has arrived at the cafe where he and Adara agreed he also saw his watch, "At least there is still half an hour" said Devano.

She ordered coffee to accompany him waiting for the woman he loved. Twenty minutes passed Adara still not come, Devano tried to contact Adara's phone but out of range, he tried repeatedly but still the same.

Devano paid for his coffee and went out of the cafe to Arka who was waiting in the car.

"We're going to the Mansion Exit Handoko!" devano's orders.

"Can't Miss Adara come?" ask Arka.

"His phone is out of touch, I'm afraid Papi is doing something to her" Devano replied.

"But ten minutes away the Young Master's plane ak.." Arka's speech was cut off due to Devano's sharp gaze.

Arka takes her car to the Handoko Family Mansion as her young master wishes, fifteen minutes Arka's car stops in front of a tall white fence, a spacious courtyard filled with wedding decorations and chairs for invited guests.

"Are we going home, Young Master?" arka asked when she saw Devano's sad face.

"No, we're here, so I have to meet Adara" Devano replied.

Kira who saw Devano and Arka walking towards him seemed confused, "What are you here for, instead of Adara from earlier going to see you?" point Kira towards Devano.

"I haven't met Adara so I'm here to see him" Devano said.

Suddenly the three of them looked at each other, Kanaya who came out accidentally saw Devano in the courtyard with her nephew.

He walked up to the three of them who were still staring at each other, "What are you doing here?" kanaya asked as she reached the place of the three of them.

Kira, Devano and Arka turned their heads towards Kanaya who was staring intently at her.

"Tante, Adara is missing" Kira said.

Akra nodded and patted his young master's arm, without thinking Devano ran towards his car parked outside the fence.

The look of worry was obvious, he entered the car and rushed out of the Handoko Family Mansion towards the Hanendra Family Villa.

An hour into the journey, Devano finally arrives in front of his large family's Villa, and runs into the eastern forest in search of Adara.

When he was too deep he saw a building in the middle of a dense forest, Devano was sure Adara was in the building.

"Wait for me Adara, I'll help you" Devano murmured inwardly.

Devano peeked at the small hole in the wooden window, he saw Adara crying while hugging his knee.

"Adara," called Devano in a small voice.

Adara looked for the source of the voice that called out to her.

"It's in the window" Devano said in a small voice.

Adara walked to the window when she wanted to open the door of the room open, Mr. Raka's men entered with a smile.

"Little mouse wants to go? It will not be that easy as a beautiful girl" said one of Mr. Raka's men while holding Adara's hair.

Devano who saw the incident was very angry, without any preparation he ran into the old building and broke through to protect the woman he loved.

"Don't touch anything on his body!" devano shouted with a sharp look.

"Devano?" adara Gumam.

"The hero is very brave. Hey young man you better think of your life if you want to save the girl can.." The thug's speech was cut off when Devano slapped a punch on the face of the thug who was holding Adara's hair.

"Braven child, accept this jerk!" The thug hit Devano's stomach.

Devano fell on the floor, trying to smile when he saw Adara crying looking at him.

Devano gestured for Adara to run as he gave her the code, Adara who understood Devano's intent nodded slowly.
