CHAPTER 25

Twenty Years Later.....

Adara ran down the stairs and walked quickly to her father, mother and sister Kenan Handoko.

"Good morning everyone." Said Adara who was sitting next to Kenan.

"By the morning too, dear." Kanaya and Alex.

"Today my father and mother will be at my boutique Grand Opening, right?"

"Dad can't promise, but I will." Alex answered and sipped the black coffee on the table.

"But didn't invite me?"

"When you're interested in attending an event, your father's business event only you prefer a vacation with your friends." Adara said and then bit the bread that had been filled with jam by Kanaya.

"It's not yet time for me to appear in public, my good looks can beat my dad's good looks." Kenan made them laugh.

Kenan's presence makes them forget a little sadness because of the loss of Kavin, until now Alex is still looking for his son.

A luxury car pulls up in front of Adara's boutique, a man gets out of the car and heads to Adara's Grand Opening boutique.

"It's not that Mr. Devano Henandra." Kira.

Adara turned to look at the entrance and saw the man who was walking towards her. "I'm sorry I'm late."

"Ah, it's okay, Mr. Devano. Please enjoy the party." Adara feels familiar with the man in front of her who has become one of the investors in her boutique.

Not long after Kanaya and Kenan came, Adara and Kira approached him and Kanaya congratulated her daughter who had managed to set up her boutique with her own efforts.

Kanaya's eyes caught the figure of the man sitting in one of the guest chairs, Kanaya's heart instantly beating rapidly without her noticing approaching Devano.

"Kavin's my son?" Calling Kanaya, Adara, Kira and Kenan are surprised to hear Kanaya calling Devano by the name of Kavin.

Devano turned his head to the origin of the voice, he frowned confusedly at the nickname Kanaya mentioned. "Sorry who?" Devano immediately stood up as Kanaya was already in front of him.

"You're my son Kavin." Kanaya immediately hugged Devano.

"I'm sorry Devano Henandra is not your Kavin putran." Devano let go of Kanaya's embrace which he said was disrespectful.

Adara immediately approached them and apologized because the mother did not politely consider Devano is her brother who was kidnapped twenty years ago.

"Mother is Mr. Devano Henandra, one of the investors in the Adara boutique. He's not Kavin's brother." Adara tried to explain to the mother.

Kanaya eloquently stared at Devano, her heart still convinced she was his son whom she had been carrying for nine months could not be wrong, but why did she not recognize Kanaya who was very dear Kavin.

"Will bring your mother to rest in the sister's room." Kenan takes Kanaya away from Devano.

"Well, she's your sister, son." Kanaya still thinks Devano is Kavin.

"Mother she's not a sister, she's someone else. If she's a sister she can't forget us and why she never came looking for us for twenty years." Kenan tried to explain to Kanaya.

Devano received a call on his phone, after ending the call he said goodbye to leaving because there was an important job he had to work on. "Miss Adara I say goodbye, once again congratulations on the opening of her new boutique cbang."

"Thank you Mr. Devano, sorry for your discomfort during our party." Devano just nodded and left Adara.

"Geez, Mr. Devano is very handsome Adara, he fits you well." Kira Ledek.

"Who fits my daughter." Suddenly Alex is behind Adara and Kira.

They both turned around "Dad, big uncle." Adara and Kira said together.

"Who fits in with daddy's daughter." Alex asked back.

"No dad, Kira's just kidding." She smiled at Alex.

Inside Adara's workroom, Kanaya looked restless, Kenan who was sitting on the sofa saw her round pacing back and forth in front of her like an ironing stick.

"What makes you so sad." Inner Kenan.

Suddenly the door of the room opened as Alex stood on the doorstep, "Mas Kavin was outside, the children no one believed." Kanaya approached her husband who was still standing.

"No, my heart says in my son. I conceived it and exaggerated it there's no way a mother's heart could be wrong." Alex hugged his wife.

"Well, I'm gonna find out the guy's identity, so don't be like this anymore." Kanaya nodded immediately.

In a well-known company Devano sits in his great chair, "I've found a family that has destroyed my family. Just playing a fun game." Devano muttered with his sly smile.

"Sir there's a telepo from the big lady, are you going home tonight?" Arka Devano's personal secretary.

"I'll call mommy myself."

Devano picked up his phone on the table and contacted his parents. "Hello mom."

"...."

"Yes I'm going home, I have good news for mom and grandpa."

"...."

"Well I'll buy it for you mom, love you." Devano ended his phone call.

At night, Devano was at the Henandra family's house, a family dinner. "Say there's good news you want to tell mommy and grandpa."

"I've been in the Handoko Family business, and apparently the daughter of the Handoko Family is a little interested in me."

"It's very good news baby, mommy is proud to have a son like you. It's time for their families to feel what they've done to our families." Devano smiled at his mother's words.

This afternoon Adara, Kira and Echa were busy in the boutique, a man came into the store, one of the servants approached him. "As long as you come sir, there's something we can help you with." Said Rina Adara boutique store clerk.

"I want to meet Miss Adara." Devano immediately sat on the sofa in the corner.

"I'll call Adara's mom." Rina went to Adara's room.

The door opened, and Rina came in and told Adara that there was a man waiting for her outside. The curious Adara followed her employees to see who the man was referring to.

DEG... Adara's heart beat immediately when she saw Devano sitting on the sofa, she approached him.

"Mr Devano? What's up?" Ask Adara.

"Is today a busy lady?"

"Ah, slightly. Why why?"

"Because it's lunchtime, can I take the lady out to eat?"

"I'll tell Kira and Echa first if I go out." Devano nodded his head.

Adara returns to her room to pick up a bag, she enters Kira and Echa's room to tell her she's going to eat out with Devano.

After telling his best friend Adara also approached Devano who was still standing waiting for him. "Let's go now." Adara said, Devano immediately grasped Adara's fingers.

Adara's face was red and her heart was racing "What is this called love?" Inner Adara.

They went to one of the restaurants and ordered a VVIP room, Adara was very amazed to see the room filled with greenery and fish ponds.

"Do you like Adara." Devano Whispers.

"What?" Adara turned around and accidentally touched their lips. "ah! I'm sorry, Mr. Devano." Adara was wrong.

"Just call Devano." Devano smiled intent.

Adara immediately sat down her face was already like a boiled crab, and she touched her lips. Devano smiled cunningly at Adara's behavior "Finally you're also in my trap." Inner Devano.
