CHAPTER 44

At the dinner table, Adara looked agitated. Kanaya looked at her daughter worriedly, "Adara, do you think?" ask Kanaya.

"Adara wants to talk," replied Adara, "Dad, Adara wants my marriage to Doctor Sharif to be accelerated."

Alex looked at Adara, "You don't want to know Doctor Sharif any more."

"Doctor Syarif will go to Singapore, while the company is currently on the verge of Dad's destruction" said Adara.

"Tomorrow I'll talk about this to Opa and Doctor Gunawan" Alex said.

The five of them finished dinner, Aunt Fia and Om Yogi had already returned home this morning. Adara went back to her room, When she wanted to break down her body, the door of her room opened.

Kavin walked in to his sister who was sitting on the bed.

"Did Devano threaten you?" ask Kavin.

"No," Adara replied as she shook her head.

"Then why do you suddenly want your marriage to accelerate?"

"…a-I, I've known Doctor Sharif. Kira also told me that he was a good man, so what are you waiting for."

Kavin rubbed the little brother's head, "We do grow apart but, our minds are always the same," Kavin said, "So, don't cover anything from me, Adara."

Adara hugged Kavin, "I'm afraid kak, Devano will come to see me in three months" she cried.

"Did he call you again?" kavin asked, Adara nodded.

"Well, now that you rest, don't think of Devano's words." Kavin calms Adara.

Adara threw down her body and closed her eyes and before long she was asleep, Kavin covered her sister.

After making sure Adara had fallen asleep, he left his sister who had been carried away to dreamland.

"I have to talk about this with Dad" muttered Kavin.

Kavin went down to the first floor and approached his parents and his sister who were sitting in the living room.

"Kavin, is Adara asleep?" kanaya asked as her eldest son sat beside her.

"Yes Mother, the reason Adara wants her marriage to accelerate does have something to do with Devano," replied Kavin.

"Tomorrow I'll take care of it" Alex said.

The sound of birds chirping in the morning woke Adara from her sleep, the sound of knocking on the door was heard in her ears.

He quickly got off the bed and walked towards the door, "Simplek!" Adara opened the door to her room.

"Mother" said Adara.

"Aren't you today, baby?" ask Kanaya.

"No, my job is done."

"Anu Madam, below there is a package delivery," said Ani.

Kanaya and Adara looked at each other with confused gazes, "Mother go down first, you just rest Nak," Kanaya said.

Kanaya and Ani go down to meet the package deliveryman, Kanaya approaches the courier.

"Who are you from, Mom?" ask Kanaya.

"There's no sender's name ma'am, there's only the home address and the recipient's name" the courier replied.

Kanaya signs the recipient's sign, after which the courier leaves Kanaya's house.

"For Adara," muttered Kanaya.

Kanaya quickly goes to her daughter's room with the package addressed to Adara.

Kanaya knocks on Adara's bedroom door, and it opens.

"What's the Mother?" ask Adara.

"This is a package for you, son." Kanaya offered the package she had received earlier.

Adara took the package that Kanaya gave her, "Who's Bun from?" Adara asked again.

"The mother also does not know, there is no name of the sender," replied Kanaya.

"Wedding dress!" adara.

"What was this sent from Doctor Sharif?" ask Kanaya.

"I'll ask him." Adara picked up her phone which was located on the nightstand.

Adara tried to call Doctor Syarif's phone but there was no answer, "I'll text him" Adara murmured.

"Doctor, did you send this wedding dress?" Adara sent a message to Doctor Syarif.

"Mother down first, do not think, if it is not Doctor Sharif who sent him we will throw it away," said Kanaya, Adara just nodded.

Kanaya leaves her daughter's room, Adara walks in front of the mirror carrying the wedding dress.

"This dress is fancy, but is it really from Doctor Syarif or…." The wedding dress that Adara had in hand fell to the floor when a name flashed across her head.

"Devano?" inner Adara.

"Ping.." a message went into Adara's phone, she quickly opened it.

"No, maybe the package sent me wrong." Reply from Dr. Sharif.

"Didn't you? Is that dress from Devano?" adara Gumam.

At Handoko's main residence there is already Alex and Doctor Gunawan, they are waiting for Hadi Handoko to discuss the marriage of Adara and Doctor Syarif.

Hadi Handoko approached Alex and Doctor Gunawan, "Papa, Sir," said Alex and Gunawan at the same time.

"Have the two children decided to get married?" ask Mr. Handoko.

"Yes Pa, Adara decided to have her marriage quickly before Syarif left for Singapore" Alex replied.

"What do Doctor Gunawan think, does the doctor's family accept him?" Hadi Handoko asked Dr. Gunawan.

"If it's best for both of them, our family is ready Great Lord" replied Doctor Gunawan.

"When did Son Sharif leave?" ask Hadi Handoko.

"Two weeks, sir."

"Okay, the wedding will be live next week."

Alex and Doctor Gunawan agreed with Mr. Handoko, "I'm going to tell Kanaya" Alex said.

"In that case, I'll also tell Maya the wedding will be live next week." Doctor Gunawan also came home.

"Alex, what made Adara decide to get married like this?" ask Hadi Handoko to her son.

"This is related to the brengs*k man, so my daughter decided to get married suddenly," replied Alex with a furious face.

Hadi Handoko patted his eldest son on the shoulder, "Maybe this is a good thing, the company's problems must be resolved soon." Said Mr. Handoko.

Alex calls Kanaya if the wedding is to be held next week, asking Kanaya to take Adara shopping and prepare what is needed for her daughter's wedding reception.

Kanaya said she would get ready to take her daughter to the boutique to find a wedding dress.

"Adara," called Kanaya while knocking on her daughter's bedroom door.

The door of the room opened, "Mother," said Adara, "Where are you going?" ask Adara.

"Your marriage and Nak Syarif have been determined, you will get married next week" Kanaya said.

Adara smiled at her marriage, there was relief in her heart to hear she would be the wife of Doctor Sharif.

"Where is Mother going?" ask Adara again.

"Today, Mommy will take you to the boutique to find a wedding dress for you" Kanaya replied.

"I'll get Mother ready."

"Mother will be waiting for you downstairs." Adara nodded.

Kanaya came down from the second floor, she was waiting for her daughter in the living room. Not long Adara had come down from the second floor and approached the bundaanya who was sitting on the sofa.
