Maya and James' Mother's first meeting

James was surprised to see his mother sitting in Melan's room. She had not expected that her mother would be there after their meeting earlier. James quickly walked into the room and asked in astonishment, "Mother, what are you doing here?"

James' mother smiled as she looked at her son. "I just want to talk to Melan for a moment," she replied gently. "Do you have a minute?"

James nodded, still confused by the presence of his mother in Melan's room. They sat next to each other, and Melan gave a place for the mother and child to speak calmly.

James' mother began the conversation by praising Melan for her hard work and dedication to the company. He then turned to the topic he wanted to convey, "James, I want to talk to you about something that comes to mind."

James looked at his mother with great attention. "About what, Mother?"

James' mother took a deep breath before continuing, "I see there's been a change in your attitude lately, especially with regards to an employee at our company, Maya. Is there something you want to say?"

James was a little surprised by his mother's question. She did not expect that her mother had noticed the change in her attitude towards Maya. However, he decided to be honest and open with his mother.

"Mother, it's true that Maya was an extraordinary person in her work" James said. "But, at the moment, our relationship is professional. There's nothing more than that."

James' mother listened attentively, watching her son closely. He could see the honesty in James' words, but there was also an insatiable curiosity.

"James, as your mother, I just want to make sure that things are going well in the company and that no conflicts of interest arise" James' mother said softly. "I believe you will maintain professionalism at work and not let personal relationships affect our performance."

James nodded sincerely. "Of course, Mother. I really appreciate your attention. I will continue to maintain professionalism and ensure that the company continues to run well."

James' mother smiled with relief at her son's reply. He was relieved that James understood his concerns and was committed to maintaining professional integrity.

"In that case, I believe you, James," said James' mother with confidence. "We will continue to support you and your career in the company."

After walking out of Melan's room, James' mother turned to her son with a sharp look. "James, there's one more question I want to ask you" he said in a serious manner. "When are you planning to apply for Ivon?"

James was surprised by a sudden question from his mother about proposing to Ivon. He felt a little pinched in this situation, because in fact he had no plans to propose to Ivon. However, he tried to remain calm and replied cautiously.

"Mom, I have to be honest with you" James said softly. "Right now, I don't feel ready to propose to Ivon. Even though she is the candidate chosen by you, but I feel that we do not have a strong enough emotional bond to consider marriage at this time."

James' mother listened seriously, processing her son's words wisely. He understands that decisions like these are very personal and should be taken with caution.

"I understand your opinion" James' mother said with understanding. "Remember he's my best friend's son."

James looked at his mother with a slightly doubtful face. "Mother, to be honest, I don't feel like I fit in with Ivon" she said firmly. "His attitude and attitude don't match what I'm looking for in a life partner, how many times should I explain."

James was relieved to hear his mother's support. Despite feelings of guilt over canceling her proposal with Ivon, she knew that she had to follow her heart and seek true happiness.

"Thank you, mother" said James, hugging his mother tightly. "I will speak frankly with Ivon and explain my feelings. Hopefully he can also understand and accept my decision."

James' mother smiled and gently stroked her son's hair. "I'm sure you'll find someone really special, James," his mother said. "Keep following your heart and do not be afraid to seek your own happiness."

Maya enters the room carefully, bringing some files she needs to hand over to James. He felt a little nervous when he saw a middle-aged woman sitting in the room. Maya politely gave a greeting to the two of them.

"Greetings. Excuse me, I'm Maya" Maya said gently. "I've come to hand over some of the files that have to be handed over to Mr. James."

James' mother smiled kindly. "Greetings, Maya. Nice to meet you," he said. "I'm James' mother."

Maya nodded politely. "It's nice to meet you, ma'am," he said kindly.

James' mother looked at Maya with great attention. He can feel the goodness and intelligence in Maya. "James and Melan have praised your hard work and your ability in this study" James' mother said with a warm smile. "He really appreciates your cooperation."

Maya smiled and was relieved to hear the compliment. "Thank you, ma'am. I am delighted to be working with Mr. James on this project" Maya said sincerely.

James' mother continued, "James also praised your kind personality and humility. He said that you are a reliable person and have a strong work ethic."

Maya felt overwhelmed by those words. He did not expect that James had given such praise of himself to his mother. "I try to give my best in every task I take on" Maya said humbly.

James' mother smiled softly. "You're amazing, Maya. I hope you are successful in all your endeavors, both in your career and in your personal life" James's mother said prayerfully.

Maya is warmed by the support and kindness shown by James' mother. She thanked James' mother for her kind welcome and prayers. The two of them talk for a moment about Maya's research and future plans.

After a short meeting, Maya says goodbye politely to James' mother. "Thank you very much, ma'am. I will continue my work and complete these files" he said.

James' mother smiled and nodded her head. "Hopefully succeed, Maya. If there's anything I can help you with, please don't hesitate to contact me" James' mother said sincerely.

Maya leaves the room feeling warm and happy. The brief encounter with James' mother made him even more inspired to keep trying and pursue his dreams. He felt accepted and appreciated, and it gave a new spirit in the course of his life.
