"W-there's something Livia wants to tell you about something important. Actually, Livia is a slave." Livia lowered her gaze with tears that began to flow through her eyes.
"Hhhh ...?" Those who heard Livia's words were shocked greatly. They did not think that Livia was a slave after seeing her beautiful appearance, white and clean skin and clothes. Even Jaka and Maya think Livia is the son of an important person in the village.
Maya, Jaka, and Daya stand in front of the King's Library trying to digest what Livia said, and they still don't believe that Livia is a slave.
"W-even if you are a slave, we will still accept you as your friend, Livia," Daya said with a look that exuded sadness and pity.
"What is your status as a slave?" tanya Jaka looked sharply at Livia.
Livia nodded her head in response to Jaka's question. Maya and Jaka shake their heads several times after learning that Livia's current status is still a slave.
"Why? What's wrong with a slave!?" Daya looks angry because she thinks her friends do not want to accept Livia because of her slave status.
"It's not like that, Power. The problem is that we cannot create a group if one of us is a slave. It's a rule, a rule made by the King." Maya tries to explain it to Daya.
Hearing Maya's explanation, Daya felt sad and angry because of it. Daya has just met with Livia and there is a chance that she will split back from him.
"Did we meet when you were a slave, Livia?" ask Power in a very subtle tone.
The wind blew softly against Livia's bangs, her eyes filled with tears were clearly visible at that moment. Livia justifies the position of her bangs, grasps both hands belonging to Daya and then begins to tell her about her past,
"Yes is Livia's savior. For Livia, Daya is a sun shining through the cracks of the ruins of the house. Please don't stay away from Livia, please don't leave Livia after learning the fact that Livia is a slave." The tears that Livia tried to endure broke at the thought that Power would leave her. Livia cried in a slightly bent position with a face that kissed Daya's hand.
Hearing that made Daya, Jaka even Maya sadly listened to him.
"We're not leaving you, Livia. We promise." Power hugged Livia tightly and tried to calm Livia's cries.
For a few minutes Livia was in Daya's arms. Although his crying had stopped, but his sobs still sounded in his chest. Livia let go of her embrace with a glaring look on Daya's face.
"Yes, Power. When we met that time Livia was already a slave."
Hearing Livia's confession made Daya wrinkle her forehead and clench her hands tightly. Power is inexhaustible how a child can be made into a slave.
"Why did this happen, Livia? Where are your parents?"
"Livia feels a little uncomfortable when it comes to telling stories here. How about we move to a quieter place, Daya?"
"Of course, Livia."
"You could say Livia was an unwanted child, when Livia was five years old, both parents sold Livia to the Slave Union. Livia was forcibly employed there, from noon to midnight. Everyone was harshly employed there, from children to the elderly. We were only allowed to sleep for two hours in one day and were only given one almost rotting bread to fill the stomach. No one cares about Livia, everyone beats Livia for no apparent reason. Livia feels pain, Livia feels pain and it feels like Livia really wants to cry out all this sadness.
"However, if only the guards heard or saw Livia crying. So Livia will feel a rattan punch that continuously hit Livia's body. There Livia must always work on an empty stomach and a tiring taste plus Livia must pretend to like the job by smiling while working!
"Can Power imagine how tight, sick and tormented Livia was!?" Livia cries when she tells her past. Daya tries to calm Livia down by giving her shoulder as a place to vent her emotions. But Livia held back her tears and said she was still strong enough to tell her dark times. After her cries begin to subside, Livia recounts her past,
"When there was a commotion in the Slave Union, somehow the door that closed the slave room opened. Livia and a few other slaves decided to run away. When Livia was already outside, there was a shadow that smiled towards Livia and disappeared in the dark of the night. Livia thought that she was the one who had saved me and some other slaves.
"That morning Livia decides to rest in a small alley around the village, where Livia meets Daya. Power helps Livia when everyone is treating Livia like an item that is not worth using, plus the time that Power itself is in a state of difficulty. A deed that Livia never got in a lifetime. Then Livia thought, 'if Daya can then Livia should be.'
"After filling the power with two apples that Livia bought using Power money, Livia moved back without stopping. Livia was reunited with an excellent grandfather, Grandpa Eko his name. That grandfather was the one who gave all this to me." At the end of her words, Livia smiled considering Eko's grandfather.
Hearing Livia's explanation, makes Maya feel sorry for her. The resentment and resentment that resides in Maya gradually sink into Livia's sadness. Maya now knows the reason why Livia wants to be close to Daya. Livia is still in Power's arms.
"Given the circumstances Livia was a runaway slave, the possibility for her status exemption would be very difficult." Maya tries to think about how to get Livia out of her status. Hearing Maya's words, Daya began to ask, and,
"What must be done to make Livia free from her slavery status, Maya?"
"There are three ways that Livia can be freed from her slave status. The first is by redeeming it, the second completes the mission and the third asks directly to the King!"
"meaning?" tanya Daya was confused.
"We can redeem slaves using money, we can complete missions and choose slaves as gifts, and the latter of course asks directly to the King. If he has any right or whoever his slave will surely be given. However it is a basic condition for a slave who is still in the Slave Union, I do not know what will happen if there is a slave who runs away.
Jaka, Daya and Livia bow in a doldrums listening to Maya's explanation.
"What right would he take from her if she were a slave?" tanya Daya was curious about the status of the slave that was being talked about.
"Much taken, Power. Like can't be a swordsman, can't be married, can't go around all the areas then, um ...." While Maya was still thinking about what rights someone would take if he became a slave, Maya's words were cut by Jaka.
"Can't visit the palace area, can't meet the royal family and others! I hate that rule! A very real discrimination from a King!"
