Eps 43: Mr. Abirama and the Strange Dark Room.

"What's that?" Maya asked curiously.

"The first thing we have to do is to ask permission to take the exam to the Village Leader, the second to do a power check and the last to do a self-data knowledge check!"

As Jaka finishes his explanation, Livia releases her gang from Daya's hands with a pale face. Seeing Livia suddenly let go of her hand, Daya asked Livia,

"What's up, Livia? You look pale" asked Daya worried about Livia's state after seeing her face that looked very pale.

"Ah ... nothing really, Power." Livia just smiled with a forced smile.

"What does that mean, Jaka? Why ask the Village Leader for permission?" Maya asked with a bangtenseness after looking towards Livia who suddenly changed nature when Jaka had finished his speech. Maya senses that Livia has been hiding something.

"You'll know when you get there, let's go to the Village Leader's place!" Jaka put his foot in their lead.

They followed Jaka to go to the place that had been ordered, the trip did not take too long because the Village Leader's house was only a few meters away from the location of the Swordsman Union. Their journey was only consumed by silence and a sense of unease with each other due to the joining of Livia in a way that Maya thought was disrespectful. Livia walked over while bowing her gaze with a pale look. As Maya walks, she always notices Livia's movements which she thinks are very suspicious by stealing glances at her.

After walking for about five minutes, they arrived at a house that was larger than the house in general. Daya concluded that the house in front of her was the house of the Village Leader,

"Is this the Village Leader's house, Jaka?"

"True," Jaka replied as he stepped into the Village Leader's yard and knocked on the large door made of iron after standing before him.

The sound of knocking repeatedly Jaka did as he occasionally called out to the Village Leader. After the tenth knock Jaka lay, finally opened the big door that closed the Village Leader's house. After the Village Leader found out who the person who knocked on his door, the tone of the Village Leader suddenly changed and looked better, "Ahh ... Jaka just nodded and entered the house owned by the Village Leader. As they were entering, Maya took the time to ask Jaka about when she had known the Village Leader of Thalas.

"How are you, Jaka?" asked the Village Leader while patting his shoulder (Jaka) slowly and then sitting on the chair right in front of Jaka.

"Okay, Mr. Abirama."

"I didn't think you'd come to my village, I thought since you were kicked by your father you'd be a long way from here, hahaha. Your father should have listened to my advice from a long time ago, so that your parents will not have any more burdens, because their burdens are on you, khahahahha."

"Sorry, Mr. Abirama. Our goal came to your residence just to ask permission to conduct the exam to become a swordsman."

Hearing Daya's words, Mr. Abirama looked at Daya's eyes and said, saying,

"Here you go, may you win" said Mr. Abirama with a terrible smile after giving Jaka Calder's paper and lifting one leg up on the table.

Jaka stood up, thanked him and then stepped his feet away from the presence of Mr. Abirama with a reddened face still holding back emotions. As they had been outside, Daya asked, saying,

"Why are we going? Wasn't Mr Abirama preparing a drink? It's rude to leave without drinking a treat from the host!"

"You crazy? That short sib*lan was just playing us! She may give us a drink, and her own child will not eat!" Jaka said very rudely while cursing at Mr. Abirama, Daya was only shocked and lowered her head.

"It means now just a power check, then the last one is a self-data knowledge check." Maya tries to remember what to do. When Maya again touched on the self-data knowledge check, Livia's body shook and her face turned pale.

"Hmm ... Why is this woman afraid of self-data knowledge checks?" maya bangtin.

"For a power check, we will go to the Magic Research Union. To check the knowledge of the data ourselves go to the library of the King. Come on, let's go to the Magic Research Union, the sooner the better!" Jaka again led the footsteps of his friends to go to the next place.

On the way, Daya always pay attention to Livia's behavior which she thinks is strange. Power felt there was a feeling of fear and unrest in Livia, on the way Daya asked him, and,

"What's wrong with you, Livia? Are you sick?"

"That's okay, Power." Livia tried to cover up her movements with a knotty smile. But this smile looks very forced, in contrast to the sincere smile that Livia gave when she met Daya.

They arrived at the Magic Research Union, a place filled with strange items they had never encountered before. The moment they entered the Magic Research Society, the medicinal fragrance instantly flashed piercing their sense of smell. They encountered one who served as a maid of the citizens who visited this Union. Jaka tells him the purpose of coming here and the person immediately leads Jaka and his friends into a room. As they enter the room, Daya and her friends only see a dark empty room with a table and a book above it right in the middle of the room.
