Maya holds Po's rose tightly while stepping her foot home to her Grandfather's house. It was getting darker, from a distance Maya saw her Grandfather was sitting waiting for him in the front yard with a restless face.
"Oh .. Surely Grandpa was waiting for me" Maya thought and sped up her footsteps.
Grandfather's face turned relieved when he saw that his grandson was already in front of his eyes, Grandfather stood up and crossed his hands with an angry look on his face.
"Where have you been, Maya? Grandpa's been looking for you around the village but didn't find you. Grandfather was worried about your situation," Grumbled Grandfather lecturing Maya who had been standing before him.
"Sorry, Cake. I forgot about the time I was learning to plant flowers. Look at the flowers I've brought, pretty, right?" little Maya said while showing the roses she brought.
Grandfather saw Maya's dirty body immediately told her to take a bath and plant the flower in the yard while occasionally advising her not to leave without telling her. Maya promises not to repeat and starts planting her roses in Grandpa's yard.
"Grandfather made this little garden for what?" ask Maya while digging the ground using a shovel to plant the flowers.
"Grandfather wants to plant some tubers for us to eat, Maya," Grandpa replied as he sat in the front seat and fanned his face with his palm.
Grandfather who saw the way Maya digs the ground felt that his granddaughter had figured out how to plant flowers properly and neatly. Out of curiosity, Grandpa asked her,
"Where did you learn how to garden, Maya?"
"From the strange boy I met while walking around the village, Kek. She was also the one who had given me this rose," Maya replied with a slight humming of planting her flowers.
"Don't let the flowers die!" said Grandpa commemorating Maya.
"Good, Cake."
When she was ready to plant the flowers, Maya got up and went into her hut to take a bath. After a few hours passed, it was time for Maya and Grandpa to go to sleep. Before going to bed Maya asked Grandpa,
"Sir, I want to ask you something."
"What's that?"
"What is the use of a king if his people suffer while under his rule?"
The grandfather who heard Maya's question was shocked because the question came out of a five-year-old girl.
"The King is basically a leader who protects the people, but because his power that has no limits makes some Kings pervert their duties by doing things that only benefit some parties. But don't think all the Kings are the same as our current King, Maya. I'm sure there's a King who really thinks about the welfare of his people."
Maya only fell silent at Grandpa's explanation, Maya closed her eyes for a few seconds then opened her eyes again asking,
"Will the people who have departed from this kingdom be saved?"
"Grandfather could neither justify nor deny the question. But basically if you want to move from one kingdom to another then you must have permission from the King. If there is a King who allows people who are not his subjects to enter his kingdom, then there will be problems that accompany it.
Maya's face looked sad to hear Grandpa's reply. Maya could not imagine the circumstances of some citizens who had gone towards another kingdom. Maya closes her eyes and falls asleep. Tomorrow has come, Maya wakes up and does not see the whereabouts of Grandpa next door. Maya wakes up and searches for her Grandpa, but her Grandpa is in her front yard planting some tubers. Maya saw the flowers that she planted last night, how shocked Maya turned out that the flower of Po's gift was dead and withered.
"It looks like the flowers you planted are lacking nutrients, Maya," Grandpa replied, stopping the planting activity.
"Zat hara's? Is that some kind of fertilizer that we usually put on the ground where we plant?" tanya Maya who remembered Po had said that fertilizer can add zar hara to the soil.
"Yes," answered Grandfather briefly and resumed his activity of planting tubers.
Hearing Grandpa's answer makes Maya want to meet Po and ask for some
fertilizer for the flowers. When Maya wants to leave, Grandpa asks her,
"Where are you Maya?"
"You're going to that weird kid, Grandpa. I'll ask her for a little fertilizer" Maya replied as she walked away from her hut.
"Don't go home at night!" grandfather commands with a loud voice due to Maya's long distance.
"Good, Cake!" answer Maya with a voice that is no less loud.
After a few minutes of stepping up, Maya is shocked by the sound of a fight from the direction Po's garden came from. Mayan Sayup-sayup heard a voice that he believed was Po's voice shouting out loud. For fear of something happening to Po, Maya speeds up her steps towards Po's garden.
Upon arriving there, Maya sees the gate that says 'Welcome' has now been damaged, a damage that can be ascertained done by others deliberately. Maya goes inside and is shocked to see Po's garden overgrown with beautiful flowers has now been damaged and destroyed.
At the end of the garden Maya saw three people whose stature like a swordsman was stepping on Po's chest so that he could not move his body. Po tries to fight back by lifting the swordsman's legs from his chest, but Po is unable because Po is weaker than the three warriors.
"Mam*us you're a handicapped boy! I'll make you catch up with your parents, kahahaha!" hardik one of the warriors who looks will swing his sword to Po's neck.
Seeing the cruelty of the warriors with their own eyes made Maya's body feel stiff and unable to move. Maya is only speechless to see Po being trampled from a distance without being able to do anything. The warrior looks ready to slash Po's neck, but Maya can't do anything but look away terrified. Maya's body trembled violently and her mind was filled with fear.
"You can kill me! But you will never be able to escape your destiny! The fate that will drag you into the deepest hell, you fucking swordsman!" grunts Po while still in a trodden state looked at the eyes of the warriors with a sharp look.
Hearing Po's words and sharp eyes made the warrior who stepped on his chest even more wrathful,
"Mam*us you!" the swordsman's wrath while swinging his sword towards Po's neck.
Hearing the scolding and slurs of the warriors make the fear of Maya getting stronger, Maya can only cry squatting covered both ears when all that happens. Maya again feels the inner pressure hitting her chest, especially this is the second time Maya can not do anything when the person she knows is in danger.
*Sreek ....
The sound of the sword being swung was heard by Maya.
