Chapter 66

The preparations for Darrel and Aurel's engagement are over. Soon night is her engagement. All the members of the Grisam family were already present at Gara's residence. They look happy.

"Uncle didn't know you were getting engaged. Though, just yesterday you were uncle jailin." Said Gio, patting Darrel on the shoulder while chuckling lightly.

"Yes. New feeling yesterday Darrel asked to buy toys." Viko Imbuh.

Both of his uncles were chuckling together. He could do nothing but scratch his ears. Usually he would reply to his Uncle-Uncle's words. But, this time, it seemed like he did not know what to reply to.

Ginanjar, Zarfan and Disa also chuckled at Darrel who could not avenge his two uncles. While Gara and Darren only smiled faintly.

Alula, Ana and Vera are in Aurel's room. The three women were busy talking to Aurel and took turns stroking Aurel's stomach.

"I remembered the time I conceived Dafa with Lala." Ana.

"Hehehe... I'm the same, brother. I remember when I was pregnant with Roy." Tymphal Vera's.

"But what I was most curious about, when Alula was pregnant with the twins. How do you feel about getting pregnant with twins?"

Aurel who witnessed the intimacy of the wives of the sons of the Grisam family smiled. After the conversation, they headed to the family room together.

Darrel who was still enjoying the jokes of his two uncles as well as his two Grandpa and Grandma, immediately stood up when he saw Aurel. He led the girl to sit on the sofa carefully. All who saw her, held back a smile at the attention Darrel had given Aurel.

"Son, if you're married later, Darrel's not being nice to you, just tell Grandpa. Grandpa's gonna hit his head." Said Ginanjar, making all chuckle.

"Kakeeek..." The echoing sounds of the two Ginanjar grandchildren filled the living room.

All frowned at the sight of Alisha and Dafa coming home from school together. Why did they come home sooner than usual?

Alisha and Dafa kissed the hands of everyone in the room. The two then sat quietly between their parents.

"Why did you come home so soon?" Ask Alula.

"Yes, why are you coming home so soon?" Tymphal Ana's.

"I said I'm allowed to go home sooner today. And the teacher just wants it. I called Uncle the driver to pick up. I also sent a message to Brother Alisha, because we have promised to go home sooner today." Obviously Dafa.

"Yes. Alisha also told the Principal to go home first today. At first he refused. But, Alisha said that if she refused, Alisha would not want to go to school here again. And as fast as lightning, he nodded his head at Alisha. Huh, must be afraid of him if Dad doesn't want to be a donor at that school anymore." Alisha.

Roy, who had fallen asleep with Lala, woke up and walked into the living room. Viko immediately carried him and took him sitting on his lap.

"Are you still sleeping, Roy?" Ask Gio. The boy simply nodded, as he was still not fully recovered from his sleep.

"I'll see it." Ana heads to the room to see Lala.

After Ana left, Dafa pulled her father's shirt and asked him to look down. The boy whispered something.

"Dad, is Uncle Kenan not here yet? Aunty Hani same Ara also came?" Dafa Whispering.

"Why? You miss Ara?" Reply Gio, also in whispers.

"Yes. If you can, tell Uncle Kenan, let Ara stay with us."

"Haha..." Gio immediately laughed loosely, making everyone look at him with astonished looks.

"What's up, Gio?" Ask Zarfan.

"Nothing, Cake. Just a little joke." Dafa.

Before long, a waiter came and said that lunch was ready. Everyone goes to the dining table and eats their food. Then take a break and get ready for the engagement tonight.

Not many guests came. Only Grisam's family, close friends, company clients and also the higher-ups of Grisam Group.

Asya came with Papa and his mother. There is Naomi, too. That beautiful girl looks so happy. He immediately walked in the other direction looking for Aurel. However, the steps came to a halt as someone blocked his path. From his posture, he knew who it was.

"Axhel!" Alisha called out to him, and he came closer. Disa who was with Alisha at that time frowned while looking at Axel.

"Grandmother, introduce! This is Axel, Alisha's friend."

"I'm Axel, Madam." He said, while yelling Disa.

"I'm Granny Disa, Alisha's Grandma." Reply Disa. "You must be Gara's business colleague's son. Where are your parents?"

"Sir, he's not Dad's business colleague's son. But, the son of my best friend who lives abroad."

"Ohhh... Where's your parents, son?" Lisa asked back.

"Have returned abroad." Answer Axel as he is.

"alright. You guys enjoy it. Grandma's going there first."

"Yes, Grandma."

Axel was silent to observe every movement of people who came while listening to Alisha's story. Sometimes he replied to the girl.

While Dafa, the boy continued to cling to Ara, the daughter of Kenan and Hani. Instead of being happy, the 6-year-old little girl even felt uncomfortable. His expressionless face became extremely cold. He stared intently at Dafa, then left the boy, and played with Roy and Lala.

The long-awaited event begins. Darrel and Aurel stood where they had prepared. With a smile full of happiness, he pinned the ring on Aurel's finger.

"I love you very much. Not for any reason or anything. So, don't doubt my feelings." He said, then took Aurel's hands and kissed him long.

Aurel felt her eyes heat up. With a slight nervous feeling, Aurel pinned the ring to Darrel's finger.

"I love you too." Her speech. The lovers embrace each other. Making a boisterous applause echoed in the living room of the house.

After the core event, everyone enjoyed the other events. Everyone was happy, and so was Asya. While Naomi, she stared hatefully at the girl. He knew what Darren and Asya were in relationship right now. Plus, he witnessed what Darren did to Asya earlier. This made him hate Asya even more.

"Naomi,"

"Yes?" He forced a smile as Asya called out to him.

"I'll take a drink. Do you want me to get it too?"

"Yes. I want to."

"All right."

Asya immediately headed for the food and drink. The situation was quiet as everyone was focused on the ongoing event. Before his hand reached for the drink glass, a person suddenly pulled it and smothered his mouth.

"Hmmmmm..." Asya glared at the sight of that person's face. While that person, only replied to Asya with his grin.
